 Shiva's expression was one of intense frustration and also concentration. He liked reading, but he wasn't good at writing or anything like that. Language arts was always a hard class for the little boy, but he desperately wanted to do well, make his Papa and his siblings proud. He eyed the letter K, and finally, almost laboriously, wrote down the word King. King was a nice word that started with K, and it wasn't long and it sounded good.
Now he had to come up with things that rhymed with it. His little face scrunched up even harder, and he thought about it. He was about to get frustrated, when he remembered his Papa wearing a pretty ring the other night. Ring rhymed with King! Oh he had one! Could he come up with more? He found himself humming thoughtfully, a tune that one of his sisters liked to sing... Oh another one! Sing! And he loved to go out and play on the SWING! 3 words... Could he manage an even four? He'd be proud with four... He started to lean forwards, and... saw his wing. A BIG smile crossed his face as he wrote his fourth word down, then he ran up to the teacher, to turn in his assignment, feeling ever so proud of himself.

Hey there Hobo, I'm afraid the limit for characters taking classes is limited to two per stage per month! Please choose which two freshlings you will have take the class this month and cross out the other two to do next month instead heart

(I had 2freshlings and 2 juniors... Not 4 freshlings @@)

Percy tapped her fingers on the table in thought when she found out the letter she got was K. There were so many words to choose from she didn't know what to use. Swinging her legs to and fro, she stared down at her knees until her eyes widened like saucers. She could use the word knee! Now that she had chosen her word, she had to find words that rhymed with it. While writing down her word, she thought out loud what would rhyme with knee.
"Hmmm... oh! Bee rhymes and, um... sea! What's another word..... pee!" she exclaimed. At the last word, she bit her lip from trying not to laugh too hard, but failed to do so as her giggles echoed throughout the classroom. Persephone heard her teacher clear their throat, and she looked around to see that everyone was staring at her. Blushing, she looked down in embarrassment and decided she would turn her work in later.

Zoren had an excited expression on their face as they rushed into class. Today had been awesome! Jaime, Nova and themself had made blueberry pancakes that morning. Darting into language arts, their little Baphomet tail was wiggling a million miles an hour nearly. So, when it came time to find things to rhyme about, Zoren was curious to see what letter they would be given. Rifling around in a pile..the Baphomet pulled the letter B.
After considering what to change the first letter to, Zoren scribbled on the corner of their paper. After testing on Zest and thinking that sounded silly, next they went for Fest, but that didn't sound as nice. What else could they do... Oh what about a T! Since their first letter was a B, Zoren chose "Best" to follow the rules first. "Hmm.. my word is.. Best it rhymes with Test!" They announced proudly, with a little nod of affirmation as they were certain they were correct.

Gormain knew the last couple days of being a Freshling were fast approaching. Soon..he would be like his big sister Tabitha. How had he even forgotten about her?! He had been mentally listing all his siblings but had neglected the blue-colored Grimm. She, like Kahlua was awesome. So many of them came and went about their lives, he forgot the sketch artist was usually out and about working on perfecting something or another. Tabitha also liked taking pictures. Gormain had his own ideas about what he wanted to do when he grew up.. and he had to seize his education by the reigns if he hoped to run his own business someday!
"My word is expire. What I came up with was um..You better not Expire least you get my Ire." He attempted to Rhyme, blushing when he even tried to throw in a little attitude into the motion.

Natasha's eyes lit up hearing the gist of their assignment for the day. The hybrid's tail wiggled in excitement as she jotted down some ideas about a couple different words beginning with F. Finally coming up with one she waited for her turn, semi impatient as she felt like she had a good one. "Don't get in a Funk, or you'll end up getting Sunk if you get to down." Okay..it wasn't that great but she had tried! She also liked it paired with Punk. Don't get in a Funk least you act like a Punk.. but she wasn't sure that one was much better? Hmmm.

Urgent! That was a good U word that Isabelle used pretty often in her writing. OK so she'd only learned it yesterday, but she was rather fond of the word. She'd seen it several times in newspapers, but hadn't really grasped what exactly it meant until recently. But, it just happened to rhyme perfectly with something her grandfather was always calling her. Not that the nixie was 100% sure what belligerent meant, but it couldn't be anything too bad, she figured. Though now that she'd used it for an assignment, she should probably double check. Just to make sure. It'd be awful to get in trouble over it because she'd used a word she oughtn't have.

Pepper thought, brows furrowed, tapping her mouth with her pencil. S was a good letter. She knew plenty of words that started with S. Like. . .like. . simple! That was a good one. OK. Now she just needed something good that rhymed with it. Wrinkle? Simple? No, that didn't work right. Pimple came to mind, but did she really want that to be her rhyming word. After several minutes of hard thought, nothing better came to mind and she sighed, dropping her pencil onto the desk. Guess she was stuck with her first guesses. At least she didn't have to say them aloud for this assignment.

RP Response: Rhymes? That seemed simple enough. Cyril sighed a bit, glad that he wouldn't be starting off his senior year with a test or something. Let's see, what letter did he have again, j? Give him just a minute and he'd have a half a dozen rhyming words. Especially easy with the word he'd chosen. Probably he should have picked something a bit more difficult, but Echo hadn't said anything about word difficulty for the assignment thankfully. Pleased that not only was this assignment a simple one, but also one that didn't need to be completed orally, Cyril gave Echo a small smile as he turned in his paper.

RP Response: Di'o, with the help of their learning buddy, puzzled over their word. X was almost the last letter of the alphabet. If it had been a w or a y, they would have had plenty of words to chose from, but it was an X. They had helpfully suggested Extra! as one of the options, but their buddy had said that the word had to start with x. It was just, there weren't many words that started with X. They couldn't remember how to spell xylophone, so they couldn't suggest that word, and they hadn't learned very many others! Frustrated, they snooped about in a book they'd stored for a good word. X-ray looked to be the only word that they knew and could find a good rhyming word for.

RP Response: Ashe smothered a yawn. If Echo caught him yawning in class, he'd probably have to do an extra assignment or something. Luckily, he'd gotten a super easy letter. After all, his name started with A! This would be easy peasy. He'd write down a few things that rhymed with his name and then he'd be able to go see how Elijah was doing in his class. He'd gotten a bit grumpy that Echo hadn't let the other kumiho join his class, but there hadn't been anything else he could do. At least he'd have classes with him next. Mind more on future classes with his best friend, he stopped writing after he'd gotten to two and ended up daydreaming at his desk until Echo called him out on it.
