(for the record...yami is still there. Someone poke me when I'm needed pwetty pwease. I'm gonna be a little stressed this week and the beggining of next. So I might forget to check...)

"Soul stones..........why would she give me something like this as a thank you gift?" Tolly set them aside as he picked up a piece of paper and begant o write the offical words for the rebuilding of teir. The celric and religous dragons would love this for the spell they had spent years writing was finally going to go forward rather then be laid out over miles of ground in exposed countryside. Tolly would brave their complaints, but not their grievances if they had to start over if a patch was suddenly ruined.

Toki who had been listening to the tail end of the conversation sighed quietly, wondering if anyone was going to pick up his presence at the door. Somehow Mimi had been silent for this long, then again she was to busy running up and down the hall trying to see how fast she could make it down. Toki debated interupting, since Yami had lost all confidence in herself to say anything,but ended up deciding against it; not wanting to cause unnecassary problems
Yami watched Tolly for a few moments, mentally debating if she should speak up or not, part of her just wanting to meld into the wall since she wasn't sure how things would go with Toki.

Arkayid waited for his two companions, when a thought blasted through his mind.
Arkayid. I have a job for you.

I need you to head east, as my eyes-and-ears.
What's out East? I thought Domachi was about as east as you can get.
Oh... nothing new, just two countries about to enter a genocidal war that could scatter out into Esperanza and end the soverignty of said Esperanza. I need you to find Queen Jadiera, a Dragon named Vermillion. He's from Domachi. Find those two, and assist them in a clandestine manner. Try to stay in the shadows as much as possible.
Oh. Well okay then. When do you want me to leave?

Arkayid turned to the pair he was with. "You'll have to help Vrinn out on your own... I have other issues to tale care of. See you around." He said to Tairon and Maikon. With that, he turned around and started walking east.
Once out of Domachi, he stepped up the pace, and went into a long distance run, which would let him take advantage of his long stride. He was to be in Domachi as soon as possible... and if what Mother said about the war about to start was true... He had every reason to be there.

Tolly blinked a bit and looked up to see yami against the wall and another int he doorway. He was either getting to damn stupid to not be aware of his surroundings. death could have walked in and had his head without him being the wiser if it wanted to.
"i appologize dear, and come in Toki, what may i do for you?"

Toki waited till Mimi had run back to him to go in, Mimi literally attached to his leg. Yami smiled at her, but knew she wouldn't budge from TOki's leg out of fear. "I'm sorry to bother you Lord Toleranth, Lady Yami suggested I meet you, and I came to drop off Mimi so that I may take a short brake...unless I'm needed for anything."
Yami rolled her eyes "Yami, just Yami" she repeated quietly
"My apologies La- Yami."
Mimi peaked out from behind Toki's leg, staring at Tolly with wide eyes, in complete incredulity.

Tolly nodded at Toki, and gestured to a chair; "So take a break, no one needs to work themselves to the bone, besides i've been ill and haven't met all the friends Yami has made recently."
Tolly glanced at Mimi; "Ya know Mimi, without fear their can be no courage to stand up, and besides i promise if i do scare you to awfully bad yami can smack me without hesitation."

Toki looked from Tollu to the chair then back to Tolly, unable to decided whether or not to take the offer, but decided against it. "She hasn't made many m'lord, right Yami? She's been far to busy holding things together." Toki smiled softly, it was a rather disturbing smile all things considered, almost evil but not quite there.
Yami blushed slightly, it was true, but Yami was never very social, and she only knew Toki because of the help he needed.
Mimi curtsied (sp?) unsteadidly "Unfortunately it seems I have more fear then I'll ever have courage Lord Toleranth."

Mimi transfered legs to cling to now favouring Yami since it had been made clear Toki would not be around for a little while and the two echanged smiled. Toki having obviously learned how to fake an innocent smile since there wasn't a trace of evil on his face when he looked at her.
Toki then switched his attnetion to Yami and bowed slightly and turned to Tolly "Thank you M'lord. Mimi is a quiet girl. i assure you she won't cuase any trouble." he spoke softly and bowed, and then was gone as a small black bird flew silently out of the room.
Mimi kept her eyes on Tolly unable to decide if she did fear him, or if she was just extremely curious about him. Yami patted her head softly and smiled.

Tolly stood up and walked towards Yami bending at the waist so he could see Mimi more clearly. "Well now, if were going to spend some time together at least let me get a good look at you, and no need to run or hide for Yami would protect you to her last bit of life."
Tolly froze harshly, mid step and straightend up fast; "This is not good news, not good at all..." tolly walked back to his desk briskly and looked at the door raising his voice rather loudly; "Messengers!!!"
The door opened quickly and a four people came walking in and stood before the desk.
Tolly glanced at them: "Saline move quickly to Pearle, take whatever infromation we have at this point on the murders at Esperanza, you leave within the hour, and your not permitted to be seen do i make myself clear?"
The Lady he adressed bowed and walked out the door leaving the three others. Tolly looked at next one; "Detrich, move swiftly to the villages of Tier, assess how far word has spread, telepaths, mages, and other gifted people might have listened in and started spreading rumors. If such has occured, then assure those people they will be protected from any attacks resulting from Pearle should they move to strike."
Detrich bowed and was gone, Tolly looked to the next in line, "Find Motasa, i need him for a later objective, he should be in the coastal marshes last I remember."
The messenger left, and Tolly looked up and spoke very weakly; "You get to call the docotrs, cause i think...i think i overdid it a bit..." Tolly collasped ontot he desk and slid slideways to hit the floor on his side behind the desk.

Yami sighed and rushed over, doing her very best to move Tolly back up and onto the chair, with the help of Mimi, who wasn't extrmely usefull for that job, but Yami thanked her anyways. "Just stay here with him. I'm going to go find the doctors." she spoke calmly and patted Mimi gentally on the head and rushed off and down a hall hunting down a doctor, or possibly a guard who could point her in the general direction of a doctor.

Mimi stood very still, very afraid. The room's awkward silence did not help her in the slightest and she hummed quietly to herself, attempting desperately to calm herself. "There's no such things as monsters." she told herself, despite the irony that she was in fact the very thing she feared.
