The Hero Of This Story

Physical Description: A lithe figure is cut by Aneksi, which many commenting she has a very feline air to her. Not tall, more of average size, Aneksi stands at 5' 8" tall. Her skin, although not pale, is a very light tan from spending her days travelling in the sun. Dirty blond, almost hay colored hair, is worn normally in a pony tail that cascades down her back, her hair goes just underneath her shoulders in length. Bangs are normally side swept and fall so that it covers her left eye. Her eyes are cat shaped and a bright blue that stares out, a color that matches her bonded's eyes as well.

When it comes to clothes, Aneksi likes to wear clothing that is loose fitting, anything that will allow her to fight better. The colors tend to be darker in the brown and reds department.

Personality: Aneksi holds herself as if she was born from the family of a Lord Holder then to the crafter family she was actually born into. The woman holds herself with pride and dignity, acting as if she is entitled to many things in this world, which in Aneksi's eyes she is. She understands that there is a certain form she can either show herself as and she has decided to let this be with elegance and dignity, perhaps not a mix for the profession she is now following, but it also helps to keep people off guard.

Knowing how beautiful that she is, Aneksi can be very persuasive and she isn't afraid to use her looks to that end either. She can be known to use her persuasion to help get more marks towards the jobs she and Ptolemy take, as well as bartering with traders. It also extends to getting and keeping friends around her.

Never get on Aneksi's bad said, the woman is one to hold a grudge and hold it for a very, very long time. She isn't one to react right away when it comes to getting revenge either, she will fume on grudges and then strike when the person least expects. She feels that doing so helps when it comes to getting the most out of her revenge. Small slights will not cause a large plan of vengeance, but Aneksi remembers all of the slights, big or small. She is also very cynical, believing that many people are out for their own gain, just like she and Ptolemy are. She is not above using people because of this and she has a hard time trusting people either.

Although she views people more as pawns then friends, Aneksi is not disinclined to have many one night stands with various partners, be they men or women, though she does prefer men. She has not found someone who truly captures her heart and she doubts she ever will. Ptolemy is her one true partner and all that she needs, or so she believes.

History: Aneksi was born at Monaco hold into a family of crafters. Her father was a journeyman feline handler that specified in breeding and Aneksi grew up knowing she would be working with the cats for most of her life. The second oldest child and first oldest daughter, Aneksi was given a lot of responsibilities, even at a young age. Her father was training her and her elder brother to go into the craft, something that Aneksi had always looked forward to and hoped for.

She had always been drawn to the majestic felines, more then she had dragons. There was something about the power and freedom that the felines had that spoke to her, a freedom she always craved. She apprenticed beneath her father, soaking in everything he had to tell her about the craft and she spent a lot of time with the felines that her father would rescue, many of them young cubs whose mothers had met an unfortunate end. She grew up doing her best to watch him, always being gentle with the cubs, though it was always a little tearful when they would return them to the wild. She always knew there was a chance for a feline to bond with someone, though she knew it was a very rare occurrence as well.

When she was thirteen years old, her father found a couple of southern stripe cubs whose mother had been killed by a couple of holders. The female of the cubs ended up not being able to make it while the male thrived and ended up doing something strange. After a couple of months as the cub regained his strength, he bonded with Aneksi, something that shocked her and her family. After that, Ptolemy would not receive help from anyone but Aneksi as he grew. The two friends became inseparable and worked together. Aneksi walked the tables when she was eighteen years old with Ptolemy at her side and the two entered the world.

Aneksi and Ptolemy stayed in Monaco and became fighters, some of the best around. It lasted for two years before they began to grow bored. Ptolemy was the one who broached the idea to Aneksi first and the two left their home to begin travelling. They began to take odd jobs as mercenaries, something that many saw as strange as this lithe, sensual and beautiful woman traveled at the side of a large and intimidating feline.

When thread returned, Aneksi and Ptolemy where hidden away in caves, not that they had known it would return, it was just one of the places they would spend the night. They currently still travel as mercenaries, enjoying the freedom their life gives them.

Here There Be....Felines?

Name: Ptolemy

Species: Southern Stripe
Size: 11 Ft Nose to tail. 660 lbs
Physical Description: A very large Southern Stripe, perhaps the largest around, Ptolemy is a very intimidating beast, especially combined with the fact that his type of feline are very hard to work with and unpredictable. His main coat is a lovely cream color with black stripes. His eyes are a very striking blue that, strangely, match that of his bonded.
Personality: Intimidating is a word that can sum up Ptolemy very easily. He puts off a very intimidating air to everyone he and his bonded come across, he is not going to be mistaken as a tamed and domestic feline. He and Aneksi are partners, not owner and pet, and those they come across should be quick to remember that.

Ptolemy is fiercely protective of his bonded as well, not letting anyone near he doesn't deem worthy enough, which can lead to many of Aneksi's one night stands being run out of their rooms or wherever they are staying at that point in time. Quick to attack anyone who even threatens his bonded, Ptolemy comes off as very aggressive to those who wish to cause them harm.

It was Ptolemy's idea that he and Aneksi begin to travel and live their lives as mercenaries. He was itching to see more of the world just as she was and to get into bigger and better fights then what the hold and crafthall had to offer.

Ptolemy does have the tendency to be sensitive, as he can be seen cuddling with Aneksi. Do not mistake his being sweet to her as being owned by her either. Though he does love the attentions she bestows on him.
