Bebe giggled as the new girl looked at her nervously. "I certainly was talking to you," she assured her, "and I'm really bad at taking no for an answer, so you're definitely part of the squad." Bebe turned back to the wood she was collecting, not even bothering to hide her smile at all this socialising she was getting. Who knows, maybe they'd even stay friends after the whole trip? She was so lost in this little daydream that she almost didn't hear the disaster happening nearby. With a small gasp she rushed to help the girl, but Samhain and Azure already had it covered. She sighed in slight relief as she placed her hands on her hips, watching the whole ordeal.

"You were so right!" Bebe exclaimed, chucking two more pieces of wood onto her leaf-pile, "getting branches off dead trees is a great idea!" The compliments were genuine, as was the smile that didn't seem to want to leave her face. "Ahh right, I'm Bebe," she said quickly, having forgotten that she hadn't introduced herself. Turning to Samhain she added, "with tips from friends like this, I think you may be right about me being an expert in the making!"

Samhain felt slightly bad, he had heard the branch starting to break under the stress and he should have… well gotten over there sooner. He ignored the snort from salem in the back of his head. His other self was dangerously close to the surface after that start. Of course he was jarred back into the present when he noticed Azure offering Nashira a hand. Whoops, he probably should have thought to before trying to get the debris off of Nashira but at the time he was also looking for injuries and it slipped his mind.

“Nope, we were all far enough away, and thanks to your sacrifice we don’t have to keep walking to get wood. I was noticing that we were starting to struggle a bit.” Seeing as Nashira seemed to be recovered at least physically, Samhain could tell she was extremely embarrassed, he bent down to retrieve his own wood pile and took two of the branches that had fallen due to Nashira’s actions. He didn’t want her sacrifice to be in vain after all. He would have tried to grab more but he was getting to the point it was getting a bit tricky to hold them all. There was still a good chunk left and now that they knew there was a pile here, maybe they could come back after dropping this load off.
“See being stuck with the forest isn’t soo bad now.” he added.

T'kani had the unforunate luck of getting a tent bag without any poles. How was she going to set up a tent with this? Ugh.

Well, they weren't in the bag, and they weren't on the way back to the bus, so there was not much she could do about it. She handed the bag back and tried to explain the situation as best she could, with varied success.

Either way, it would take a bit of time for them to dig out another bag for her to use. In the meantime, she looked around at the others who were setting up tents. Two seemed to be getting the hang of it, while another was struggling with theirs.

Okay. So this really was going to take all night. Gritting her teeth, Zahneel sat down on the ground and very carefully looked over the instructions one more time before dismantling everything she had so far and starting over from scratch.

Once she was handed another bag, she quickly checked the contents, discovering that it wasn't even a tent bag.

Handing it back, she silently huffed and waited for another bag to be unloaded.

Having taken a bit longer to exit the bus after a feeling of nausea had overwhelmed her, Rei finally made her way to where the majority of the tents were being set up.

Any questions she had for her fellow students died on her tongue before she could even speak. She'd missed her chance for socialization on the bus, so now she really had to keep up.

Tents were easy enough, and it took her a matter of minutes to finish her first one.

This time the tent bag seemed to contain everything that it should, but one of the poles snapped when she tried to fit it into place. She honestly wasn't sure if it was from using too much force or a faulty pole.

Either way, she couldn't finish the tent like this, and headed back to the bus to look for a spare one she could salvage.
