Chokaya was all but terrified of whatever was going on. She fought to her feet again, literally shaking with fear. "Wait, it wasn't Inka then? He's in danger?" she repeated trying to get a hold over herself. She lookde up at Sev and for some reason the blues of his eyes both entranced her and paralyzed her. This fear was ingrained but oh so far out of character. Sevrin was beautiful but she would never have been literally stuck in place after looking at him like she was now. He spoke but the words came through in a blur, getting jumbled up. She took a second to remember just who the hell she was as water formed at the corners of her eyes and she remained looking at Sevrin. "Yes, he was in the Sero, outside the shinobi apartments. I want to go find him. I want to help," she said though her voice was on the verge of cracking. His smile was helpful even if it was forced. She couldn't tell and it was the intention that really mattered. "Lead the way," she offered. [Potential exit!?]

Takumi entered the hospital. It was time to start reaching his goals in the medical field.. He would open several scrolls available at the hospital facility. First he would learn to thread flesh back together. This was one of the most basic techniques [1/1] Next Takumi would begin working on Donation and circulation of chakra and physical energies to the system. The medical ninja would connect the two via chakra and allow the transference to occur, helping those who have shunted tenketsu. [1/1] Following, Takumi practiced cleansing the wound. Takumi would wash the dummies would be wound, using alcoholic pads and other sterile equipment. Shortly after, the wound would be cleared with chakra. [1/1] Once that was down, Massaging would be studied. A basic skill used in order to relieve tension from a muscular injury. Takumi's hands would move rhythmically up and down tendons and pull tension from the muscular system. [1/1] Finally, for the basics at least, Takumi learned to extract foreign objects from a patient. In order to keep it from getting infected, the wound had to be clear of outside sources of germs. Takumi carefully removed an arrow plunged into the dummy while working it out slowly in order to keep it from tearing additional tissue on its exit. [1/1]

Completeing his training for the moment in the medical field, Takumi began to search for the front desk attendant. Upon reaching the desk near the enterence, he would speak. " I'm looking for a little part time work. Just to keep busy. Anything available?" The attendant smiled happily before speaking in a very bubbly and enthusiastic voice. " Like omigosh YES. We need SOOOO much help. You're one of the medical ninja right? There's a guy on the third floor who we don't know how to diagnose, if you'd look that would be toooooootallly aweessooommmmeee~!"
[1/4] Takumi stepped back, distancing himself between the woman with the shrill, obnoxious voice. He nodded. " I'm not the best, but I can take a look." with that, he took the stairs to the third floor, unsure of what to expect. His helping the hospital was probably going to be mostly unpaid internship, he didn't mind though. He knocked, opening the patients door as he grabbed their file from the holder. " Good Afternoon Takena-san. I'm one of the medical interns here, they asked me to look at your condition." [2/4] The man across from him looked adjudicated. He was in his mid thirties to early forties by appearance. His age listed however was merely four years older than Takumi. Takumi immediately became vociferously interested. He approached the man who would still refuse to speak. Perhaps he could not. " Takena, can you respond to me?" Takumi asked again. No verbal or physical response. [3/4]
Takumi now understood why the medical facilities were baffled. How would he be expected to learn the reason of the condition if the doctors with ample experience failed? Perhaps this was more than he was capable of? Most likely. Takumi sat back in the stool, leaning against the wall next to the desk for him to do his paperwork in the small room. He slid his hand across the stack of documents in his file. One document among all of them stood out. Dr. Ryuuji Saegahara. " Dad....again?" he said beneath his breath. His father had been a great medical ninja, but he had worked here too? Upon reading, his father had treated this man for another 'unknown ' disease when he was a child of no older than five. This was surely a case surmounting in something grand. [4/4]
Takumi continues sifting through the files of the man's medical history. The more that he examined the notes, the less his examinations of the past made sense. " None...none of these drugs are even approved. Let alone composed of entirely legal ingredients?" Takumi's brow furrowed. He reached for another set of documents. In all, his father's name was upon six of thirty recorded medical treatments. All six within the timespan of a single year. [1/4]
A doctor came in to the room, making eye contact with Takumi before speaking. " You're....the intern the attendant spoke of?" Takumi nodded as he turned back to the paperwork. " Yes....and I may have a theory about the man's illness." The doctor's eyebrow raised in skepticism. " Really....?" Again, Takumi nodded. [2/4]
Moving to Takumi, the medical doctor examined the paperwork Takumi had been digging through. Sure enough. Takumi could be right. " It looks like Dr. Saegahara might have done illegal substance treatments fifteen years ago. It is the only inconsistency in his medical history. If they were illegal...why would he even list them...or their ingredients?"
[3/4] The doctor stepped back, glaring at Takumi with disdain. Was he upset with him for finding something they had overlooked? Something so far back in his medical history it may not be relevant...but it was the only option. No. " You're....the spitting image of Ryuuji at that age." [4/4]
Takumi raised from his chair with a quickness, grasping the doctor by the collar. His smaller stature against the doctors would normally mean he was incapable of moving him. But this doctor was no ninja, and had no training to deal with such an attack. " Where is he? " Takumi asked in a low hushed tone. He had grasped the scalpel in his lapel jacket, palming it just lightly against the man's sternum. [1/4]
"Woah woah woah! Easy!" the doctor cried. It was no coincidence that just after graduating the academy did the string of events around him start to coincide with his father's history. The doctor spoke again. Slightly less fearful this time. " Your father was a friend, once. He hasn't been seen around here in...months! " Takumi;s eyes widened. " MONTHS!? He's been missing for fifteen years!?" He released his grip on the man, sheathing his scalpel. [2/4]
The doctor readjusted himself, straightening his tie." He came in to check up on a patient who's in a coma inside the hospital. He said he was in town all week... I would have assumed he had come home to visit?" Takumi would shake his head in disagreement. " Show me this other patient." In agreeance, the new doctor lead takumi to another floor in order to examine the woman on that floor. [3/4]
Upon reaching the woman, Takumi immediately moved to her bedside. " Look at the files. Check for a period of fifteen years ago that only my father worked on this patient with unknown treatments." As the doctor would confer that indeed there was a treatment time around that time that only Ryuuji had operated on her medical treatments, Takumi would pry her eye open in order to examine it. He stumbled back upon doing so, catching himself from falling by slapping his hand on the counter. " Her eyes...." He said. Moving back towards her. " Hey eyes are serpent's eyes." Takumi's eyes lit up. He ran to the library down the hall and returned with a book on animal medical information. " Snakes....python's in particular sleep for over fifteen hours a day...paired with humans who need roughly eight hours of sleep. Her body cannot awaken because its constantly in need of rest." the doctor looked to Takumi in shock. He had solved it? With only an hour or so in the facility he had discovered the reasoning for a case spanning for three years. " I'm off. But...I'd wager the man downstairs shows symptoms of animal like traits somewhere on his body." With that he vanished in a blur. [4/4]

Miyuki flinched from Kagerou's pat on the head, but did her best not to shy away, giving the green-haired kunoichi a nervous grin. The moment of concern was quickly lost though as Kagerou's tone changed, taking on an almost bitter aftertaste as she recalled the words the fake Inka had said to her. And for probably the first time that she had seen her smile vanished, which came as a surprise. What he had said had really hurt her. She wasn't interested on lingering on the subject, simply stated she needed to improve. With a wave and a wish of good luck Kagerou headed away.
Miyuki moved to do the same, an odd sensation, and a flash of pink from above drew her attention skyward. Something was happening to the tree again. But rather than rotting or dropping pods, those same pods grew from seemingly nothing and sprouted into wondrous flowers which, with the first passing breeze, drop their petals and began to coat the village in a warm pink blanket.
And then she blinked and found herself somewhere else. White walls and the smell of sterilizing chemicals brought back memories of her time in the hospital, which appeared to be exactly where she was. She appeared to be in the main lobby, facing the exit. But... how had she ended up there? Had she spaced out again and let her feet carry her? That was somewhat terrifying, especially given that she couldn't remember even moving after seeing the pink blossoms. How much time had passed then?
Someone walked past her and she realized she could see over their head, which was the first indicator something was terribly amiss. People were staring at her, she assumed because she had stopped in the middle of the way. Something was covering her mouth too-- those weren't her hands. While still young, the thick fingers and defined knuckles looked masculine. And... her gaze fell further, to the clothes she wore. A sweater and a pair of black pants. She'd been wearing a skirt with stockings and a jacket before. When she turned her head to look around, it wasn't accompanied by the weight of her braid. Hands moved to her scalp, running through short, black hair, and then down her face, feeling at the features it bore. "Ah..." Even the voice... More people were staring now. She needed to get out of there before they brought the type of people she disliked as much as physical contact. Heart racing in her chest, she hurried out of the hospital.
