Abel also moves to space 70, where he trades Kira, returning her vulneraries and taking back his cards. He then talks to her.
"I'm curious, have you fought any monsters before? You were right not to attack the mauthe doog from a distance... not that it would have mattered much." Abel chuckles lightly, and slightly nervously. "Mordache uses these wyverns to counter Learania and Estarcia's air forces. They're sort of like bees... not really scary, until the entire hive swarms after you... it's a good thing you brought some thunder magic with you, and that I have this sword."

Kira the Mage
Kira would smile at Abel as she traded back for her item. She didn't seem the slightest bit bothered by the smoldering corpse beside them. "Oh, most of my experience comes from fighting monsters of my own creation, hehe. But I have fought a beast or two out here. There are rare ingredients to be collected in these parts, which is why I was in town. You know, I just bought this lightning tome. I cant wait to try it out. I'll leave the politics to you and your friends though; that stuff has never really been my forte. Just point me in the direction to shoot, hehehe"
Holy s**t, it must be a goddamned miracle. Shinon's wyvern must have learned it's not good to dawdle about even in the cold after that near-death experience and kicked into high gear, taking to the air and crossing the distance fairly easily.
Landing on Space 58, Shinon takes a moment to look around at the new surroundings to get a quick-memorization of the area before he spies Vika close by and prods his Wyvern to shuffle next to the Raven before speaking.
"Oi, featherbrain. You can probably make better use of these Cards than I can with your weird, stupid powers, or whatever, since you seem to melt into the background and aren't noticed much. I'll trade you for that Tonic of yours."
With that, he produces the Cards and Trades them to Vika in exchange for the Speed Tonic. Never let it be said he couldn't be generous, he just most often chooses to be an a*****e. And for the sake of humor and the fact these two have a love/hate relship going on from the former boardgames, adding onto the lulz is fun.
He then Uses the Tonic (more like he bribes his Wyvern to drink it) and suddenly said mount feels a rush of energy, gaining a boost of Speed ...We can only hope there's no side-effects to this. Liquid Speed. Shinon just fed his wyvern drugs. At least it wasn't straight up whiskey, pretty sure that Wyvern would suddenly start spewing fire like some of his dragon cousins. At least his wyvern can have a few moments of rest to let the effects settle in while they wait.
