I CHOOSE CHOICE A EleinaPost 4 HP: 14 HP Surely they can see, this person isn't better then her! Eleina tried to tell them, but they didn't get it, and when they got it things started to turn ugly. They attacked her, pushing her further and further towards the ground. "Why can't you see! She isn't anything compared to me! Why can't you see!" The pain started, but almost at once it is gone. Everything is gone, everyone she knows suddenly dissipated. However she was still not alone. Replacing the people she knew and loved were complete strangers, who also weren't paying her any mind. Instead they looked towards a feast. At seeing the food Eleina realized just how hungry she was. When the others started to run towards the food Eleina sprung up and pushed her way towards the food. She had lost her families love, but she wasn't going to lose this also. She was going to get what belonged to her.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B NiadraPost 4 HP: 23 HP The crowd was right. Although Niadra still thought that she was a better dancer, there were a few things that she could learn from the other girl. A few moves that she herself hadn't mastered or learnt yet. With a smile she watched the girl, even joining in when the others complimented the stranger. Slowly people started to tell Niadra they were proud of her, Nyiim even coming and wrapping his arms around to watch the girl together. Everything was nice and Niadra had a feeling she had done the right thing. Before she could ask the stranger where she learned to dance everyone was gone, including Nyiim's strong arms holding her tight. With a frown Niadra realized that they were replaced with strangers, looking at food in front of her. Although her own stomach growled Niadra couldn't believe how ravenous these people looked. When everyone started to rush towards the table she did so as well, surely there was enough for everyone. However as she gathered what she thought was her rightful share, enough to fill her up, Niadra noticed little hands being denied food. With a frown she lead the child away and gave them her food. When she traveled the children were always fed first, and she felt that this should be no exception. Hopefully there would be enough left over for her later.

Aylin Post 4 - Choice B HP: 11 I CHOOSE CHOICE B Aylin echoed the words of the crowd, it almost felt wrong in a way- insincere because she truly didn’t know who this was or why they deserved such adoration. However, her friends and family were recognizing her again, as she felt reassuring pats on her back she finally broke through to the front of the crowd and was startled by the shadowed figure. Clouds parted and tree boughs were cast aside in a sudden wind as the shadows were whipped away and she was confronted not by a stranger, but by her older self- standing proudly in the glow of her friends’ and family’s adoration, confidently wielding the staff of a shaman. Aylin parted her lips to cry out, to get the attention of this wiser self, but all was gone and she was left empty.
The hollow feeling within her consumed Aylin, she had never felt so hungry as she turned around to absorb the sights and smells in this unfamiliar place. Strangers surrounded her, their skin colors she had only seen before in trips to Neued, crystals flashing in dizzying arrays, and all differently hued eyes intently focused on a table laden high with food in the center of the room. She found herself moving with the crowd, eager to fill this aching hollow within herself, Aylin rushed forward to grab a few handfuls of wonderful food before it could be devoured.
Feeling the press of the eager crowd surrounding her, Aylin turned- looking for an escape- when she saw the small hand of an Oban child stuck a row behind the others, grasping eagerly for food but able to attain none. Aylin took the child’s hand in her own- she noticed briefly that his skin was almost as dark as her own in the daylight- and pressed back through the crowd to the outskirts. She knew somehow that this was her chance to forgive, to move on from her past and look to the future, so she relinquished her food to this small child from a nation she feared. And surprisingly, it wasn’t difficult to ignore the hunger gnawing within her when she saw the look of gratitude and joy that filled the eyes of this small, richly colored boy as he sank his teeth into the proffered food.[WC: 382]

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Ujana - ( 15 - 0 = 15 ) HP
She wasn't unnoticed; her family and friends could see how hard she was trying, which made it all worth it to Ujana. Those feelings of love and acceptance seemed to fade in favor of strangers with determined eyes. What in the...? While she wasn't too terribly concerned at first, Ujana looked around the room...
...with a squeal.
"YES." Free food?! And what a wide spread! It was free, right? Her stomach was cramping so badly that all she wanted to do was push past everyone and gobble up a mouthful of that delicious, succulent food...
So she did. Ujana shoved past a few of the strangers, aggravated by their incessant chattering. Didn't they see the food?! If they were just going to talk then they'd better get out of her way before she started busting heads!

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Dris'rynne - ( 16 - 4 = 12 ) HP
At first Dris'rynne seemed to have gained the favor of the crowd, but like a domino effect they all began to turn on her. Why was she picking on him?! He hadn't done anything wrong! It wasn't his fault that he couldn't come home! How could she be so rude? So selfish?
All at once their shouts turned violent. She could feel hands pressing into her flesh, pushing and pushing until Dris'rynne was on the ground. For all of her strength she couldn't get away from them! She screamed, but it was to no avail. The longer she seemed to struggle the more pain she was in until all at once...it was over.
For a moment all she did was sit and try to process what had happened. When she felt brave enough to sit up Dris'rynne saw a room full of strangers, and one of the largest banquets she had ever seen. Her stomach gnawed at her, nudging her towards the table and all of it's goodies. The shifter stood up, brushed herself off to check for bruises and moved carefully towards the food.
Dris'rynne pushed past the others to take up an entire tray of sweet meats, but in the effort she noticed a little hand getting knocked back by the group. Immediately she stilled. It didn't take her long to notice that the child couldn't quite get to any of it, despite the look of near starvation on their face.
Looking at her own tray, and back to the child, Dris'rynne knew what she had to do. She side stepped around the hoard, carefully keeping an eye on her tray, until she was close enough to the little one to crouch down. "Here you are. Eat up."

I CHOOSE CHOICE B
Kian - 16 HP - Post 4
He wanted to rinse his mouth out with something. It was like every decision he made was pulling him along further than he ever wanted to go. Praising someone was definitely not in his interest, but the dream had pulled the words from him. All he knew was that he was glad Talisia had found someone who could truly love her without tarnishing her light. His love could only condemn her.
The thought twisted his heart, but once more the room was shifting. What now? His earlier disgust was replaced with an intense desire for food. It literally felt like he had been punched in the gut as the need overtook him. This was a painful test...wincing Kian grabbed at his stomach before noticing the strangers all around him. And that smell! He had to get all the food that he could! These people were weak, he could easily toss them out of his way.
Yet, as he prepared to tear a chunk of food off Kian paused. Anything, but a little one. Anything else he could have ignored, but the plight of those small hands who were just reaching... It was like these tests were reaching into the darkest part of his soul, the hidden child that had once been so pure was screaming from the inside of his darkness. He couldn't let them go without food.
"Fine." Sighing, Kian resisted the rolling hunger of his own gut to hand food down to the little one. A faint smile flickered across his features at seeing their surprise, "Enjoy it before they realize that you have food now."
If phantoms could even starve, but that little hand had just tugged too strongly at his heart. Despite everything there is still a weak part of me after all...

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Nadiya - 20 HP
She had been so happy to praise the other person. The feeling of euphoria that washed over her kept her on her toes until once more something shifted. A new room? Frowning, Nadiya almost fell down with the sudden pain in her gut. Had she been in here so long that her body was starved? What was this time paradox that made it feel like she hadn't eaten in days, maybe even weeks?
Biting the inside of her lip Nadiya paused as she smelled food. It smelled so delicious! Her face flushed, Nadiya forgot herself as she darted in around the crowd. They weren't going to save any food for her! What if she died here without eating? Her mind slipping away from the tests, Nadiya reached out and managed to push her way into the front of the table.
So much food, so little time...

I CHOOSE CHOICE C Shadiya 16 HP
He had abandoned her as well...
This nightmare continued to get worse and worse. As the crowds rushed the table, Shadiya felt the overwhelming surge of hunger. Yet, unlike those who were scarfing down food the girl stood still. Was this really going to become a fight over food? Her depression from the earlier events flickered through her mind.
She was just too hungry, too tired to care at this point. These people wouldn't leave any food for her, but perhaps they needed it more. Was it really worth the effort of fighting? Her limbs felt like stone and Shadiya just sat on the floor with her arms tightly wrapped around her legs that were pulled up to her chest. Maybe later there would be a flicker of hope, but for now the girl was too weary to think.

I CHOOSE CHOICE C Xilarn Post: 4 HP: 21Over. Exaggerating.
Xilarn pinched his lip between his teeth and took half a step back. He wasn't. And it wasn't a strange thing to want your lover to have nicer things to say about you than anyone else, or to prefer your company over some stranger's. Not here, of all places. Maybe it was worse because this was all happening in his own home. Or because he'd already lost Kennet once and had never felt a pressing need to do so again.
He swallowed, raked a hand through his hair, and stepped away. Perhaps it didn't matter- Well, no. It definitely felt like it did, but it at least shouldn't have been surprising. He was not unaccustomed to this sticky, throat-tightening sense of dread and horror. Even if it wasn't fine, neither was it unusual. He'd lived through it so far and would probably continue to do so.
With this thought in mind, everything familiar about the situation disintegrated. His home and his friends gone as if they'd never been. In their place was a ravenous emptiness that Xilarn might have mistaken for depression, if not for the annoying physical pain that accompanied the change in scenery. A glance around revealed others, and a lot of them, as well as a lengthy table draped in fineries and piled high with a mountainous amount of food.
In theory, he was fairly certain he wanted to be a part of that. A rumble from his stomach assured him that, yes, he was definitely hungry enough for it.
But as the gathered crowd made a mad dash for the table, Xilarn decided he would not ever be hungry enough to fight his way through that many people for any amount of succulent morsels. Just looking at them all made him feel gross. Besides, he was capable of obtaining his own food without needing to rely on questionable mounds of it from nowhere.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Akiyal Post: 4 HP: 7On some level, Akiyal was aware of the people around him becoming distraught at his actions. The disapproving mutters quickly turned to angry shouts and manifested itself in hands grabbing at his clothes and tugging him away from this other person. He grunted and dragged at the interloper as they did. They'd started it. The people he loved had no business collectively fawning over someone else and ignoring him in the process.
He twisted, writhed, let out shouting complaints of his own, and pushed back at the hands that grabbed him. It wasn't fair. It wasn't, it wasn't. They'd known him first. He was better, more important, and he needed them. They knew that.
They knew, and still they were angry (almost violently so) at him for doing something about it.
Belatedly, Aki considered the thought that he didn't really want a small hoard of his trusted companions angry at him. Very belatedly. He didn't realize how much more they appreciated this other in favor of him. Enough to physically overpower and hurt and smother him.
He was still shaking from some combination of hurt and horror by the time the scene changed. Surrounded by people he didn't recognize in an unfamiliar room with complete new (albeit not bad) scents surrounding him. His stomach bemoaned the tragedy of not having anything to fill it in what seemed like an eternity. Aki glanced to the other people in the toom. Frankly, maybe strange foreigners were just what he needed after dealing with family in such a way. And a fight-race free-for-all to grab as much food from the center table as possible was a challenge he was ready to undertake.
If beating and shoving people out of the way made him feel a little better about himself, that was just a bonus.
Really what won him over was the diversity of stuff available to him. Most of it he'd never even seen, let alone tasted, and Aki shoved as many strange, new munchies into his arms as he could. At least until a tiny hand latched itself to the back of his shirt. His impulse was to throw it off, but a quick glance back revealed scrawny arms, gaunt eyes, and a fearful desperation. It was quickly shoved back by others paying less attention. Akiyal stilled.
He knew what being a hungry kid in a strange world felt like. He'd been there, and even if the kid wasn't his problem, if no one else was going to tend to her, it felt like his duty somehow, as a companion spirit. He groaned, rolled his eyes, and stepped back. He plucked the tiny body up from the masses, tossing her petite frame over his shoulder like a sack of grain before retreating entirely from the clamor.
"You dummy," he griped, as he dropped the little girl to the ground once they were safely out of trampling range. "You're gonna get yourself hurt, y'know?" And as a stinging bubble from moments past popped within him, he added, "These assturds don't care about you, so don't go expecting this to be the norm." He huffed and handed over a roast leg of some animal he wasn't familiar with.

I CHOOSE CHOICE C Edathe HP - 13 (-0) = 13!
Edathe spoke out, her compliments adding to the group and she saw the attention slow come back to her. She was loved! She grinned as the others patted her head and felt herself grow with pride.
But then they were gone and Edathe was in a room with a ravenous crowd of people. She frowned, it looked like everyone was going to go in for the meal at once lying in the center of the room on a table. It all looked so good, but before she could make a move everyone was running and rushing and she was left behind.

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Vaena HP - 13 (-2) = 11!
Vaena continued to complain and babble to her sister and she could see that the more she spoke the less her sister seemed to be paying attention. Before she could stop herself her sister was cutting her short and chastising her for being so mean. Vaena was confused. She thought she could at least count on her.
She opened her mouth to speak but her sister was already gone along with everyone else and instead there were strangers surrounding her. There was a huge table of food in the middle and she saw the others rushing toward the center of the table. She felt the hunger, and it was terrible. But she would get food, and she would do what she had to to satiate her hunger.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Mirin HP - 11 (-4) = 7!
Mirin pushed through the crowd and let lose her secret. The others at first were taken aback, not really knowing what it was Mirin was doing, but then they realized and it was like all at once the hands were grabbing her and pushing her down, yelling and scolding her along the way. What? What did she do wrong?
She felt the world shift and when she blinked the crowd was gone and she was in a great hall. There was food everywhere and boy was she hungry. She ran to the center of the room and grabbed all the food she could, but she could see little hands not quite reaching. She frowned and didn't even have to think before she handed some over. She wasn't heartless.
