Not a virgin (straight, anyway... my gay virginity depends on a technicality and I'm going to say I still am), though a few years ago I made a promise to myself to wait until marriage. Then last summer happened...
And I fell in love ^_^
I'm not really sorry that I didn't wait, because I plan to have a VERY long relationship with this man (we're thinking marriage right after graduation) and we're very much in love right now. I do agree that you should wait, though... I had two boyfriends before him who I would have deeply regretted giving up my virginity to.

You know, after thinking about it for a while, I wouldn't care if I lost my virginity to anyone. All I know is that I wouldn't care. It's just virginity. It's not as if I lost an arm. I'm still alive, still breathing, and I just don't have any respect for the whole "save your virginity" thing. It seems silly. How so many people tell you to save it, yet most go ahead and lose it anyway.

The only thing i really care about on this topic, is the way hoe people are selling their virginity on E-Bay ect. now that really disgusts me.

I would say try to make sure you keep your virginity until you find someone you care about. My mistake had horrible unforeseen consequences.
