Cody nodded to her when she spoke, he went and started to work around the house to clean up. When he got some sleep he went to check on her and found her asleep at her desk, thinking that she was cute but was happy she finished her paper. He walked over and gently picked her up, carrying her to her bed as he gently laid her down and covered her with her blanket so she could sleep in bed and get some rest.

Emily woke up a few hours later in her bed. That was strange. She knew she had fallen asleep at her desk. Sitting up, Emily smiled and looked around. It must have been Cody who put her in bed. Still having a smile, she got up and left the room, seeking him out, "Cody?" she called out

Cody was still in his study when she woke up, which when she spoke and called for him, he thought it over, "Im in here Emily." He stated but when she walked in, he gently smiled, "How did you sleep and how did the paper go?" He asked curiously to her.

Emily yawned as she walked into the study, "I slept fine, thank you for placing me in my bed, you didn't have to do that." she still felt awkward being in this room after what happened, "Oh I won't know that until next week. Grading takes time." she chuckled, "Well I'm going to make something to eat. Join me if you want." she left the room, bound for the kitchen where she was going to make sandwiches

Cody nodded hearing what she said about grading which made sense as he then decided to join her, "Well I am basically done with my files and should be good till work tomorrow, but I am happy to see that your doing good with school." He said kindly to her.

Emily shouted from the kitchen, "I can't wait until its over! I am so done with school!" She was rummaging through the fridge for something to eat when she came across a box of hot pockets. Perfect. She made two of them, sat down on the couch and started to eat

Cody heard what she said about the school, hearing that she was ready to get done with it. He walked in but noticed that she made hot pockets but laughed, "Aw yes, the meal of a college student huh?" he teased gently to her.

Emily rolled her eyes at his comment, "Haha very funny." she said while eating. She looked to the front door, "Want to take a walk with me, or do you have to work?"

Cody smiled at her response to his teased but as she looked at the door, he gently smiled, "I could use a walk, I am caught up on the paperwork finally so I am perfectly fine." He stated kindly to her.

"Great." she grabbed her jacket and then his arm. They walked out of the house, and headed down into the woods. Emily saw the berry bush where they had first met. They walked a long way, "I really enjoy being out here."

Cody looked at her when grabbed her jacket but he walked out with her, not really grabbing a jacket since he was use to the cold. He walked along with her, "Yeah, the forest has always seemed like a part of my life, its an amazing place to just enjoy the fresh air." he stated softly.

Emily stopped walking and looked at him, "Can I ride on your back again?" she asked innocently. She enjoyed feeling his fur and his body move as he ran.

Cody looked at her when she asked that innocently but he laughed a bit, "Sure, but I guess that we should avoid the cavern again?" He asked jokingly to her as he shifted and waited for her to get on so he could run a bit through the forest.

Emily smiled and watched him transform. She wished she could do that. She climbed on his back and hugged him as she held on, "I don't mind going back to the cavern, as long as I don't go in it should be fine. Maybe take a swim?"

Cody looked over his shoulder at her a bit as she held on but she could hear him through her crystal again, "You mean you want to go for a swim in the spring in front of it?" he asked curiously to her.
