Aliza stopped a moment, holding back a sob. She was so worried about Shansa and Seneca's reaction to this news. Why hadn't she given it sooner?
She bit her bottom lip and took a deep breath before continuing. "...a dark thing. Pae shaped thing sort of just formed in front of Adonis' body. It was like liquid shadow. It covered Adonis and he was gone. The shadow thing took him and just melted back into the shadows."
Her eyes swelled with tears, and she sniffled a bit. Slightly unbecoming of the lady she is supposed to be. "I waited. Then went to see if anything was left behind. Any clue as to what had just happened.
There was a silver arrow laying on the marble in the middle of the tributes. Where the body was."
"I'm so sorry to wait until now to tell you. I was so scared."

Haku sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. He was clueless. He had never been invited anywhere before let alone asked to play a "who done it" game. It was getting old and tiresome that nobody had a clue what was going on. He would rather attack the killer than do something useless.
Instead, he had been wandering around, trying to eavesdrop into other's people's conversation but was having no luck availing himself to their logic either. He was about to give up. Gripping his plant a little closer, he set out in search of his gigantic vulture so that he could beg his pardon and get the hell out of this madness. This was the LAST time he was ever coming to a Venus party again. Pelagious struggled awake on the floor only to find himself in a totally different room. The pae seemed to have changed M-O and were now actually racing around trying to find the killer instead of playing detective. AND his sweet, illustrious angel had not only vanished, but vanished without giving him a name or anyway to contact in the furture. Twas so hard to find a decent man around this miserable Isle.
Giving a mighty sigh, he grappled with his clothes as he finally stood to a standing position. Where the hell was Lanny? Grumbling to himself, he began to look for him. Which took all of two seconds before he noticed the crowds and obvious new flavor to the room. Looking around, he nearly shat himself when he seen down the hallway. Was that...? Giving a little shriek, he promptly fainted.
A few minutes later, after he had woken up and dragged himself away from the general area of his distemper, he began to peruse the crowds again. Surely there was someone here who knew what was going on.

While waiting for the mortal to respond Phaenna's eyes flicked back to her traumatized sister and-OH FOR THE LOVE OF RIVER STYX THERE WAS ANOTHER ONE AFTER HER? Summer would not get the chance to reply as Phaenna bolted across the ballroom and picked up the odd glowing demon under her arm. Like the fae before her, Phaenna carried Amaya away from Aglaia. This time she dropped the demon in a corner before taking a step back, giving poor Amaya a 'REALLY?' look before rubbing her brow. Doitformotherdoitformotherdoitformotherdoitformotherdoitformotheryouredoingthisformotherneverforgetthat. "Please direct any questions you have to me...." Phaenna wasn't even looking at the demon at this point.Midnightglow18 I'm not trying to be rude or anything, Phaenna is just quiet frustrated at this point. Seruta Phaenna stole your partner.

(I don't mind) Amaya raised her eyebrow at the grumpy goddess, but she didn't take offence. "I've heard some talk of a golden arrow and talk of toxic, I was wondering if it was possible that Adonis had been poisoned?? And if so is there a god or goddess who is fond of such a tactic. I heard that Eris was into causing issues and hurting others"

"Eros and Anteros use golden arrows but they were both in the ballroom with the rest of us." Phaenna raised a brow. Toxic? Wait, didn't she hear something about something odd a long time ago? Right, she had completely forgotten about it "If I recall from the report of the body there was an a tiny pink arrow found in beaded in Adonis' butt that had a paralysis toxin on it....So though I don't think died from poison, there was something else going on...." She shook her head. "We're Erotes of love...Not murder. No matter how we push each other's buttons we all love each other...And we love Mother above all else. We all just want to see her happy." Phaenna crossed her arms at the mention of Eris. "To be honest? I don't think poison is Eris' style. If she wanted to cause trouble she would have just mind-controlled us like she ALWAYS does." Phaenna huffed loudly. She HATED that. "Heck, she had done that during the battle a few days prior to the party."

Selah was so disturbed by the scene that unfolded in front of them that she completely froze. There was a reason she was a vegetarian, and that was because even the slightest display of carnage turned her stomach. She stood, white as a sheet, for some moments until someone moved in front of her and broke her line of vision. It was then that she noticed that her partner had left.
She shuddered and hurried to find Luminita, unwilling to be alone at this moment. She spotted her leaning against a wall and quickly made her way to her. "I...sorry...." she ran a hand through her hair, picking at her braid. "I just kinda locked up, I dunno what happened." She leaned on the wall next to Luminita. "You okay?"Daisicle SORRY I didn't mean to bail on you! T-T

"Artemis came in for a few moments to tell mother something but I don't know what they were talking about. It was just another normal party for mother...Besides the whole murder part and Ares making a scene for himself. We were just trying to relax." The goddess shrugged.

Amaya thought a moment "She's the goddess of the hunt right?? I heard a rumor that Adonis wasn't really the target or was a message to the real target, do you think that is true??"

"Artemis is the goddess of the hunt yes, but that's it also why I personally don't think it's her. If she wanted something dead it would be easy for her, I'm pretty sure she could shoot an arrow between your ribs and straight into your heart. Adonis had tones of arrows in his back...Kinda sloppy if you think about it."
Phaenna shrug at the last question. "If we knew that we wouldn't have asked for help now would we? It's always a possibility but I can't say for sure."

The mortal was starting to grasp at straws. Either way, Phaenna just shook her head. "Nope. The unexpected guest was Ares...No one thought he'd ever show up around here."

Amaya thought "Yea I figured that was a silly question.. I know you guys don't want to think about it being someone you care about, but was.. You said Eris liked controlling people?? Could she have been controlling someone and made them shoot Adonis full of arrows?? For that matter I'm still confused I didn't think simple arrows would be able to kill a god, and the young graces weren't able to help clarify that much."
