With Honedge back and all of the dark Pokemon he wanted to catch done with he was wondering what he would do next. There was traveling to other areas to train, he had another Ragecandybar so he could turn that in, there was probably more trainers to battle around here and finally he could use another Odd Incense. It was a way for him to possibly get more starters but it was a risk, out of the eighteen types he'd use two already and luck wasn't on his side. Poking the sand he removed the almost empty dark Incense he set it aside and pulled out a full one pondering on opening it or not.

The first Pokemon that appeared was Pancham and for a moment Simon wondered which smoke drew it in before remembering that until it evolved Pancham was solely fighting type. Scanning it he learned that, "Pancham the playful Pokemon. It does its best to be taken seriously by its enemies, but its glare is not sufficiently intimidating. Chewing on a leaf is its trademark." Even though he wouldn't have gone out to look for these Pokemon he didn't want the smoke to go to waste. Seeing a Scraggy arrive it was a Pokemon he'd like to have but unsure if he'd actually catch one unless he crossed one in the wild. Leaving the beach Simon headed down a sand path in order to avoid drawing the fighting Pokemon to those lounging on the beach. Good thing too since a wild Timburr appeared. "Timburr the muscular Pokemon. Always carrying squared logs, they help out with construction. As they grow, they carry bigger logs." Once again Greninja was out and ready to aid in catching more friends and family members.

The next Pokemon that Simon found was one he had been looking for, a poison Pokemon to help defeat Valerie. To make it even better Croagunk was both poison and fighting so he could battle against Mawile and do a good amount of damage against the steel fairy type Pokemon. Scanning it he learned it was, "Croagunk the toxic mouth Pokemon. Inflating its poison sacs, it fills the area with an odd sound and hits flinching opponents with a poison jab."
