Sano Gallen  It seemed like Sano was in luck so far after the incident with Gin and Nix. All these special breed of demons were coming forth to the slaughter.  The girl stood up and looked to the distance, the Septentrione wrecking havoc elsewhere. She frowned. Trumpeter... Of course. "Let's go look for Trumpeter, then. We need to finish that thing off before..." she trailed off. She didn't even want to think what would happen if they didn't finish that thing off in time. Their time was running out as it were.

So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?""Right, Trumpet-s**t!" the drummer leaped out of the way suddenly of an attack from the Septentrione that had strayed a bit close...and had it not been for her catching his attention just then he certainly would have paid the price with his life. God Damned Septentriones...even on the last day they were still coming to get him, "Let's get the Hell out of here and find the kiosk where he's sealed. Staying here isn't going to do us any good right now!"
Taking her up on her invitation he was already halfway down the steps pulling her behind him (but not too fast as to jerk her arm) and moving past a corner out into the city towards the amphitheater where Kanno had told him she thought that the demon was sealed. Those Septentriones... were really out to target them. In just a few minutes... there had been two attacks aimed at them, and Luvia couldn't help feeling it was personal. "What's up with them! They won't leave us alone!" They ran, and finally they were able to escape the monster's grip.
Luvia leaned back against a wall to catch her breath, before turning to Touma, with a little smirk on her lips. "Well... at least we got here quickly."

So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"And so here they were standing in front of the kiosk where the Trumpeter was supposedly stored, but they still didn't know exactly how they were going to convince him to help them stop the wave of demon dismissal from the Septentrione Benetnasch. He pulled out his phone and began to channel the devil out from within, hearing the loud trumpet playing over their heads as it emerged from within. It didn't speak, however...and he didn't...and it didn't...until the silence became palpable and the drummer simply couldn't take it anymore! "What the ******** DO YOU WANT?!"
"WHAT DISRESPECT! You arrogant human, think that you can command ME?! Trumpeter!? HUBRIS!"

"What the hell was that, Touma?! You just don't go yelling at him like that! He will never play the trumpet now!" The girl whined as she observed the little spectacle the drummer had given just then. Her gaze turned to the Terminal, and she frowned. The white haired artist wasn't sure it would be a great idea to try and appeal Trumpeter herself... specially with the way the demon snapped back at her companion. It was a cranky little thing, huh?
She rubbed her temples, before turning her back to her companion, her eyes falling to her phone just then. She wondered if it would be a good idea to call, but... they at least had the right to know where she was and what she was doing right? ... Even if they wouldn't like it one bit. Deciding, the white haired girl dialed a number and waited for the voice on the other side of the speaker. Finally, he picked up, and Luvia took in a deep breath as if preparing herself.
"Daichi. Yeah, it's me, Luvia. Yeah, I am fine. Just... I lost a challenge. I am very sorry I can't help you guys anymore. I know this means so much for you and...-"
He sounded calmed...his voice gentle as he answered. "It's all right... You gave it your best, right? That is all that matters. Just leave the rest to us and stay safe, alright?" Luvia couldn't help the little smile on her lips then... a little sniffle escaping her.
"Yeah. You do the same, yeah? And best of luck...Stay strong."

So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"Yeah, maybe he had come on a little strong, but what he had heard from the rest of the people who had tried to appeal to the Trumpeter it was definitely a very difficult one to convince. It didn't respond to flattery, begging, pity, or anything else that they could come up with. Touma just didn't have the patience to try and beg some skull-faced priss to agree to work with them. And so he went at it the way that he did...which, while unsuccessful, at least didn't leave him feeling like some kind of a sellout.
"It will play...it'll play or I'll kill the son of a-" he paused when he saw her open up the phone and begin to talk to the kid she had been working with when the day started. He kept it quiet. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"They still hadn't quite gotten a plan together to win over Trumpeter when the first set of devils made their way into the alley and quickly met the business-end of Touma's boot and his devil's weapons. He didn't have the patience for dealing with small fry like that right now. The second set of devils down the opposite alley he had simply stricken down with lightning spells from Okuninushi's arsenal of deadly skills. The third he beat down mercilessly with his fists until the weaker devils were crying out and begging for forgiveness. He did not grant it.
"Enough of this weak-demon s**t! It's annoying!" the drummer spat as he found himself growing more and more frustrated with their inability to figure out what it would take to escape this current predicament. "It's all about working hard and livin' it up. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"All right, so his first attempt to persuade Trumpeter to fight for them hadn't gone quite so well. But now, Touma rationalized, he could try to come at the devil from a different angle. Maybe an angle that wasn't quite as impatient as he had been the last time they ran into each other. He drew out his cell phone and held it out to the terminal. Forcing a half-smile onto his lips he decided to slip into one of his acting personae. If he wanted to kill the Trumpeter he just had to pretend like he didn't. Easy. He heard the telltale sound of the trumpet over his head as the moment dawned upon them.
"Trumpeter...I...apologize for any offense you might have felt the last time you were summoned. I stand before you to humbly request that you extend your help to aid the human race in our greatest out of need," the pinkette began, smiling charmingly as he held out a hand to the devil above, "Play your trumpet for us. Help us to stave off annihilation..."

Rather, it had ended with the drummer having to be held back from stuffing the devil's trumpet straight up his skeletal a**. Following that he had moved away from the kiosk to the far side of the amphitheater to let his anger drain completely from his body. If he hadn't, it probably would have just ended up as a repeat a few minutes from now. What did they have to do to win that damned uppity devil over to their side for the battle against Benetnasch? Money? Women? Human sacrifice? A wicked drum solo? Touma could offer it at least three of those things easily. And human sacrifice...well, he'd sacrifice Trumpeter himself first. Would that count?
"And that's why it was a really bad idea for you to attack me right now," Touma talked into the back of his hand...and in it he held the skull of a very specific angelic devil that had taken a swipe at him with a sword...only to meet an enraged summoner and the Lord of Flies. It did not win that fight. "So sorry, but I'm going to have to let you go."

Trumpeter doesn't respond to flattery, he doesn't respond to intimidation. Maybe we should just try kicking his a** until he does what we want? That usually works..."

So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?""We were having a conversation," Touma frowned as he lifted a Power by the collar on its armor and crushed it brutally into the blacktop in front of he and Luvia, moments after it had taken a stab at them from behind only to see the drummer catch the spear and spring the angelic devil over their heads and into the ground on its head. Now in full control of the devil, he could hear it shouting out warnings about how such actions would not be tolerated...how God's blah blah blah face-smashed into the ground again, "Apologize to the lady for interrupting us, then float away." And improbably, against all odds, it did. It did apologize and start to float away.
...And then Touma destroyed its a** with a darkness spell from Beelzebub.

He had tried playing nice, he had tried just coming out at him forcefully from the gate. This time, however, Touma had a plan. Calling out Beelzebub as he activated the terminal that held the devil in question, he heard the Trumpet sound throughout the amphitheater and hid behind one of the seats to see if his genius plan might actually bear some fruit. It was hovering now over the Terminal, was Trumpeter, and standing easily eye-to-eye with it was the Lord of Flies himself, wings flittering every so often as if to keep it steady where it stood there.
