Simon smiled, "We've been doing this thing where Dusknoir, my starter and my flying Pokemon have been helping me raise up certain Pokemon so he's used to playing with lower leveled Pokemon. If he was really annoyed he'd probably just float out of reach of your friend." Listening to her explain herself he nodded, "Yeah Kalos is pretty far away from here and I grew up in Kiloude City which isn't part of the main route of the normal gym challenge. Is Sakura your starter?" He asked remembering the order of when she introduced them. Stunky looked up and yawned before laying her head back down.

Watching Dusknoir play with Growlithe Simon considered what the next step was. Stunky could continue to train while they looked for a Seedot but then again she only needed a few more levels and there was no way the Pokemon in this area could help him with that. Part of him wanted to use the black flute he just found but he'd put off on that for a few more encounters. If they didn't find one he'd play the flute, catch the Pokemon and move on. If Ari wanted and if she had a Pokenav of sorts he could trade contact information with her and head off to an area with stronger Pokemon to finish training Stunky up. Once she was fully evolved he might even trade out for Seedot and return to this area if Ari was still here. Seedot would be a better Pokemon to train in the area, Poochyena as well. Speaking of Poochyena a wild one came out of the tall grass as Stunky rose to defeat the Pokemon since it wasn't the one they were looking for.

Returning to his side Stunky started to lay down but paused, her ears twitching before jumping up excited. Taking note of this Simon looked at her and smiled, finally she had located a Seedot that came out of the tall grass. Excusing himself for a moment Simon turned and told Stunky to take it out and allow him to catch it. Of course he scanned Seedot before Stunky slashed out at it. "Seedot the acorn Pokemon. Seedot attaches itself to a tree branch using the top of its head. It sucks moisture from the tree while hanging off the branch. The more water it drinks, the glossier this Pokemon's body becomes." One slash was all it took as Seedot fainted and Simon threw a Pokeball at him. The first ball failed to secure him, the second one however dinged showing that he was caught.

I can walk and walk and walk but I think three minutes of waiting, more or less, is what it takes to get more Wild Pokemon in this area. That was always a sense of pride because of how strong of trainers his sisters were, of course they were like gym leaders in the way that they were strong but not impossible. "Like I said Stunky is only a few levels away from evolving at the level of the Pokemon in this area are more akin to the Seedot I just caught over a level thirty two. Would you like to exchange information? That way we can still talk over the Halo Caster while Stunky trains up more. Once she is evolved I could always come back and train up Seedot along with maybe my own Poochyena."
