That way I can start using the fire for dinner.” She gave a smile to the dual type Pokemon. Misa returned to her cooking station just as two familiar creatures returned from the forest. Each of them seemed to carry a good amount of mushrooms. Pikachu carried some in its mouth while Pidgey carried a couple in its claws and beak. ”Welcome back you two! Oh, it looks like you found some mushrooms.” Misa kneeled down towards Pikachu as it came towards the station while Pidgey perched itself upon her shoulder. ”Thank you two for your hard work.” Misa gently grabbed the fungi from the Pokemon in order to examine them. ”Mhm! These will do nicely! Miss. Chimory do you dislike mushrooms with your chicken?” She turned to face Victoria and watched as the recolored Bulbasaur snuggling up to her. ”Donphan is it? I’ll be sure to give you some good Pokefood.” Pokefood was an assortment that was often sold in stores. Though she would have preferred to make her own Pokefood but time and her experience were not up to that level. Though she made sure to at least buy well reviewed Pokefood from both Pokemon satisfaction surveys along with Pokemon professors’. ”Pidgey, could you please help Hawlucha with fanning the embers? Be sure to cooperate so that we don’t accidentally kill the fire.” Misa scratched Pidgey’s chin to which it gave a happy chirp. A few more scratches and the bird flew on over to the other Flying-type to perform the deed its human asked for. ”Pikachu, could you please get out…four bowls. I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to eat.” ”Pika~” It cheered as it went about to get the bowls from the pack. ”I think its best to bring everyone out.” Misa grabbed the rest of her Pokeballs and tossed them out. Each of her Pokemon came out stretching and yawning, they glanced around their surrounding and saw another human. The human to them was strange and much bigger than Misa. They went on over towards the human woman and looked amazed. The child went to look at her station and then did a double-take on a not-so-familiar creature. ”Bulbasaur?” The green Pokemon she was accustomed to seeing looked almost the same with the exception that there was now a budding flower on its back. Ivysaur turned to look at the human, rolling its eyes as if something annoying was just about to happen. ”When did YOU evolve?!” Ivysaur sighed, exasperated by the question, it turned its back on the girl and looked up towards the woman named Victoria. Now that the Pokemon had a chance to pause they all stared at the woman. She wasn’t familiar and Misa didn’t seem to find this woman troubling. They looked at each other and then back to the human. I have hyper sensitivity disorder so it ******** with my moods something wicked. See i can have a mood swing from little things that you would consider down right stupid and silly. Lighting, Sounds some of which you can't even ear, temperature, physical contacts, smells colors its weird but this is the best way to describe it. Normally it passes in an hour or so but it leaves me physically and emotionally exhausted.

["Hawlulu!" Hawlucha cheered eager to assist. Stepping up to the camp fire the tiny bird like pokemon beat his wings back and forth fanning the flames as best he could. Unfortunately his wings weren't built for actual flight. The feathers hung loosely from his arms. An evolutionary act of aesthetics over efficiency. They would do him little good but this didn't dishearten the pokemon. If anything it made him work harder. It would take the tiny pokemon a few goes before finding the method that worked best for it none the less. The assistance of the pidgey was an improvement too.
Fremy watched silently as Misa inspected the fungi. Mushrooms could be quite deadly so Fremy surely hopped the girl knew what she was doing. Fremy at least had Noivern to evacuate her to a hospital if something happened, Misa would just be SOL. It might be best to avoid them none the less."Ill pass." She said blandly scratching the Bulbasaur's ear watching the tiny electric mouse struggle to set out the bowls. It was a slight amusement if nothing else.
Fremy paused through as Misa released all of her pokemon.None where extraordinarily rare but the Ivysaur was interesting at least. They where hard to find in the wild. Misa might be worth keeping an eye on later on down the road. It was concerning however to suddenly have all of the girls pokemon surrounding her like this. Misa recoiled at the sight pulling her legs in tight to her chest crushing the poor Bulbasaur between knee and breasts. It struggled free though. "Misa, wha-what are they doing?" She asked skittishly unsure what to expect.

The gentle Pidgey flapped its wing, caressing the embers to spark some flames upon the wood. Baby flames clutched to the various pieces of wood. There were embers that bounced off from the wood and did their best to start some small flames on the grassy area. The tiny bird Pokemon would not have it as it used its Sand Attack to kill the small ones. It may have had a Gentle nature but it did not mean it would be so gentle to those that could cause it or the human harm. But now there was another who this dual type had to protect as well have its eyes keep a good eye upon. Though the Pidgey was gentle towards the other Flying-type. Though it could not do much to churn the baby flames its assistance was still nice to have. The Pokemon was sure to encourage the acts of its fellow dual type.
Misa smiled as she gave a nod at Miss. Chimory. ”Then we will skip the mushrooms tonight,” her faith in her Pokemon’s choice was second to none but it also felt strange to cook one dish without the mushrooms. ’I know that I can definitely use it in another dish. I think that I should see if the area has any poisonous mushrooms.’ In the child’s pack was a book on the various vegetation that could and could not be consumed within the Kanto region. It was a decently sized book and one that Misa was surely capable of saving a life. The child got to work on the meal, taking out a bottle of oil, cutting the onions and then realizing one more thing. ”Dewgong, can you plesae come on over.” Misa beckoned over the white Pokemon. It bounded over to her while looking at the child curiously. It had taken an interest in their traveling companion. ”Could you please use Icy Wind on the meat? Just a small coat of ice so that it can wet the chicken when it melts.” ”Dewgong!” An chill, one that the girl was not accustomed, came over the chicken pieces that were placed on the side. As instructed the chicken was now covered in a small layer of ice. ”Thank you.” The grill had already been set up and the foldable pan was ready to be used. Pouring the chicken into the pan she waited for the fire to build up enough to melt the ice. Then she would be able to add in the other ingredients.
”Hmmm?” Misa’s attention turned towards Miss. Chimory and then towards the cluster of her Pokemon. ”I think they are staring at you.” She answered as if she wasn’t so sure of her answer. She could see them staring but the child wasn’t sure if that was what Victoria meant. ”Everyone, this is Victoria Chimory. I met her just a short while ago in Pewter City. Both of us are on our way to the next Gym Leader.” The Pokemon turned to the human and then back at the woman. They were intrigued as they hadn’t met a travel buddy in some time. ”Hmm?” Misa turned back to her station but noted a Pokemon staring. It was an one that her parents had recently talked to her about. But then she noted something about the Clefairy. It wasn’t just staring but it was eating some of the mushrooms her Pokemon got for her. In one of its claws was another mushroom and a piece of her chicken! ”We’ve got a food thief on our hands.” Misa’s gaze locked onto the thief as all of her Pokemon turned to have a strange glint in their eyes. ”Growlithe and Ivysaur, front and center.”

The Clefairy looked shocked at the turn of events. It was still chewing on the mushrooms but looked to be second-guessing on eating the chicken in its hands. ”I would really reconsider your actions Clefairy.” With it’s munching done it looked down to the piece of dehydrated chicken in its hand. It looked at it, it looked at the girl, and then to the two Pokemon by her side. One was really weak but the other was another matter entirely. If a battle had to happen then could it be happy with the outcome? ”Cle!” It popped the meat into its mouth. ”The line has been drawn. Growlithe, lets get some experience in for you.” The puppy Pokemon jumped in to the battle that was ready to commence.

With the battle won Misa went on over to attain the newly acquainted thief. ”Sorry Ivysaur, it seems I may have had no need of your help.” The creature appeared hurt and looked off into the forest to find itself an opponent. Misa knew that calling on the strength of her first evolved Pokemon may have called forth this scenario. There are plenty of Pokemon out in the wilderness so I’m sure we will find an opponent for you.” The girl tucked a new acquisition to the team but headed her mothers words. ’I can’t use it in battle unless I decide to switch out one of my active parties. But lets see what more I can learn from it.’ She took out her Pokedex, scrolled towards her caught Pokemon and almost instantly regretted her decision. ’A Fairy-type?! When did it become a Fairy-type?!! In the books it said it was a Normal-type!’ Little would Victoria know that she did not have the highest preference for a Fairy-type Pokemon. The reasoning remains unknown but she felt like releasing the creature. ’But then I’d be wasting the Moon Ball my parents gave me.’ Against her own desires she decided to keep the Pokemon to see if it may have some better use. ”Sorry about that Miss. Chimory, I don’t like it when someone swipes food like that.”

Fremy stood backing herself into the tree trunk. Rapidash snorted trotting to her aid stopping short of the crowd of pokemon baying his displeasure at his trainers distress. Fremy treated her pokemon rather poorly but she wasn't needlessly cruel or hurtful. Each of her pokemon also respected her. she'd never pushed them into a needlessly dangerous situation or a battle they couldn't win. She was smart enough to also know when to back down and make a run for it. Rapidash cut grooves into the dirt with his hooves waiting Fremy to respond to his summons. Fremy inched her way around the pokemon sticking close to the horse as he lead her away away. Misa's response was dead obvious and had Fremy not been focused elsewhere she would have had a sarcastic response of her own.
Free of the pokemon Fremy was caught off guard when Misa confronted the food thief. Clefairy, A class rarity. In fact they where among her top 20 most requested captures due to rarity along. So far shed only managed to capture three in almost 4 years. Off hand she could think of nearly a dozen buyers. Probem was Misa was already engaged in a battle and looking to capture it. Mis needed to buy time to train and Mis was looking to stick around too so there wasn't a rush to nab it off the kid just yet. But she wasn't about to simply let something so rare pass her by. Stepping up to the makeshift table biting her lower lip Fremy had to control her urge to bean the kid in the head and make off with the pokemon. There was sure to be a much better way to resorting to violence.
As Mis tossed the orb Fremy watched, waiting and hoping the orb would fail so she could sweep in but no such luck. The orb locked. Fremy cursed under her breath. Things just couldn't be easy could they? Misa was turning around, now, she needed to look nonchalant. Snatching up a yet uncut carrot Fremy begin nibbling the end "recovering" her apathetic appearance not that she's really lost her depressed resting b***h face expression to begin with. She never looked very happy even if she smiled. "Oh, i umm huh." Fremy had been so focused on getting the Clefairy for herself she'd never stopped to take in what was really going on. Misa's comment about food swiping really caught her off guard. "Sorry." Fremy said slowly setting the carrot back down and backing away from the table blushing with embarrassment. Hawlucha had stopped fanning the flames to watch the altercation play out between the two girls. Even Rapidash seemed amused at Fremy's mistake.

The trouble maker was out of the way and hopefully more would not interfere tonight’s dinner. A Clefairy was not her ideal Pokemon to catch but she thought it more as a warning to the other thieves in the surrounding area. ’Though, Clefairy is a rare Pokemon but I think mother would like it more than me. Then again it could have its uses in the future….or it can be a test.’ The child contemplated whether or not she could keep the Pokemon. There wasn’t a Pokemon Center around Mt. Moon so she would have to wait till Cerulean City and see if she would truly keep the Pokemon at her side. Though it now was at her hip she still contemplated about what its uses could be used for.
The Pokemon team, with the subtraction of a Growlithe and a Ivysaur, had taken a step closer to the woman. Misa’s explanation of the woman was heard but they were still curious about her. They looked at her face, her chest, her attire, pretty much everything. This Victoria Chimory was a fascinating human and one they hadn’t ever seen. The woman gave off an interesting smell and she looked interesting too. It was the first time that they had ever seen a human with only one eye! It was such an odd thing to see since almost all Pokemon had at least one pair of eyes. They murmured with each other about the cause of such a deformity with the human and if it was contagious. It didn’t seem like the human was fond of the Pokemon when a giant fiery horse entered the scene. Miss. Chimory appeared to take refuge by this horse and exited the scene from the eyes of Misa’s Pokemon.
Misa turned around to see Victoria by her station. She hadn’t even noticed that the woman had moved from her cornered position by the tree. ”You’re fine Miss. Chimory. This dinner is for you so you are more than welcome to have as much as you want.” Misa smiled as she watched a semi-flustered and embarrassed Victoria. ”I’m sorry that dinner has been delayed but I’ll be sure to compensate it to the best of my abilities.” Misa clapped her hands and drew the attention of her Pokemon to her. ”Lets try our best to make Miss. Chimory feel welcomed or else no one is going to have any dinner.” A fear struck the heart of every Pokemon belonging to the young girl. She had a gentle smile on her face but the Pokemon feared her words would come true. They bounded right back to Victoria and appeared to greet the woman.
The fire was getting quite lively and was burning the wood nicely. The ice had already been melting off the chicken, providing moisture towards the meat and a base to mix in some of her spices. The child chopped up the rest of the ingredients, minus the mushrooms, and threw them into the fire. By this time the ice had melted and the meat was beginning to cook. She threw in some oil, salt, pepper, and a dabble of spices to bring out the flavor of the chicken. Dinner would be ready in ten minutes but she needed the chicken to cook. The child glanced at the empty bowls that littered the ground. Pikachu had done a good job of placing the bowls so that other Pokemon wouldn’t go about and hoard them. ”Growlithe, can you get my pack again.” Misa turned the chicken pieces and vegetation within her skillet. The ingredients were sizzling and the aroma was already taking to the air. The puppy Pokemon brought her pack to her once more and dropped it by her feet. It panted happily as the child went down to pet its head. ”Thank you,” Misa took out the Pokemon food within her pack. She eyed the chicken as she also undid the lid of the food. The black-haired girl went on over to pour a decent quantity in each of the five bowls laid out on their camping site. She was quick to go back to her station and finish up the cooking. ”And dinner is ready!”

Fremy was the one who technically should have felt bad, not that she did. She was taking advantage of the naive young girl. Misa was merely a means to the ends in Fremy's mind. Pleasant company or not the child was little more then another tool to be taken advantage of and used to the best of its ability. When her usefulness was out lived Fremy would have no further reason to maintain the charade. Fremy tried to play it all off with a smile but Misa's surrounding pokemon stopepd her cold. "Eeee." She squealed as the pokemon engulfed her personal space again. "Back off me!" She demanded hotly stomping a foot without realizing what she had done. Recovering from her slight brake in character. fist balled at her side, bitting her lower lip with eyes locked on the ground as she thought of an excuse. "Sorry, i just have personal space issues." She said at last looking to Misa. "I dont like being crowded around is all." A convincing enough lie, not that it was entirely a lie.
"Ha lala Hawluch-ch !" The sudden frantic cried of Hawlucha thankfully broke any tension in the air after Misa had announced dinner was ready. Fremy turned to see the pokemon struggling with the clasp to Rapidash's saddle bag with a light spilling out. "Hala Chu"The pokemon said as Fremy rushed over. It was time the egg was hatching. Throwing the flap open and tossing Hawlucha off Rapidash's back in the process. Rapidash with his head turned watched as Fremy pulled the warm egg from the saddle back just in time for it to burst into white flames. "Gahhh!" Fremy lurched back as the heat scorched the palms of her hands screaming in pain and dropping the egg in the process. Fremy tripped backwards but recovered fast and scrambled back to all fours momentarily scared shed killed the pokemon by dropping it. The egg was fine. Rapidash had jumped out of the way when Fremy had dropped the egg which was now covered in white hot flames that seared the ground to a fine ash. The light it emitted grow to blinding proportions then faded away to nothing faster then it had climaxed.

Fremy held her hands over her eye blinded and in pain. Careful not to touch the palms on anything the flesh was scorched and blistered. Fremy lowered her hands to fine a tiny white Vulpix sat on the ground where the egg had once been. "Vuulpix!" It cried out with a yawn. Fremy was astonished. the story's where true. The johto Temple Fox's where born as some of the more spiritually sacred pokemon ever as evidence by their inherent white flames. Fremy held her hands curled into claws from the pain of the burns inflicted by the fox pokemon. The Vulpix seemed to notice the pain she was in and stepped up to inspect the burns. Fremy had heard the legends of the spirit fox family and their near magical ability's but also of the curse they could lay down upon any they deemed unworthy of touching them. The Vulpix sniffed her palms a few times before licking each in turn. Fremy hissed in pained as the burns began to heal rapidity.

The child appeared satisfied with Miss. Chimory answer as she returned to her station. She already knew that she would need to find a source of water but thankfully she possessed a Pokemon with an Ice-type ability. The fire was still going so there was the possibility of utilizing what was already at hand. So while Misa took out two plates from her bag and scooped the dinner unto both plates, she kept her eye upon the wilderness. Honestly, she didn’t have this much trouble while coming over here. Wild Pokemon hardly attacked her when she had a small snack so what it made it difficult this time around? ’I wonder if it's the terrain? I don’t think there is much food in the mountains so maybe the Pokemon scavenge whatever they can find here in the forest.’ Perhaps a bit of pity came forth for the Clefairy but it was still a type of Pokemon that was not preferable.
Misa gazed back to the Pokemon as she walked on over to Victoria. She didn’t quite believe that everyone was trying to make her uncomfortable. Though there may have been better ways to handle this. ”No need to worry about that now. Dinner is ready so they will be concentrated on their meals.” She gave Miss. Chimory the dish while sitting down next to her. ”Alright everyone! Time to dig in.” Those magic words were enough to send all of the Pokemon to one of the five bowls. Their bellies were surely asking for some food and the human was not one to withhold them of such a dish. ”Your Pokemon are more than welcome to eat too.” Misa glanced down at the Moon Ball at her belt. She wasn’t quite sure if she should bother to invite the thief to this dinner. ’If there are any leftovers I’ll give it some.’ Some may say she was being childish but food to her was a matter of pride that she didn’t want to relinquish.
A frantic cry rang through the night and stopped the child from digging into the meal. Hawlucha was upon Rapidash’s back once more but there was a bright light spilling from a bag. ’Can it be….already?’ The child had heard about eggs hatching and such information relating to it but this was a first to witness it. Victoria grasped the egg with her bare hands but that clearly did not become a good idea. A strange white flame emitted from the egg that forced the woman to drop it to the ground. It may have been fortunate that there was still patches of grass around that saved the egg. Misa went on over to Miss. Chimory to check on her condition. Though that may have not been needed. A beautiful white Vulpix, a color that Misa had never once seen before was now standing on the spot where the egg once was. ”Of course there is! But is it going to be okay with regular Pokemon food or should I get my pack of dehydrated milk ready?”

She knew almost nothing of taking care of baby's. Human or otherwise. At best she'd once changed a relatives kid and feed them but that was years ago now. All she really knew, or remembered, was that baby's poop and puked a lot. Well humans baby's anyway, pokemon baby's tend to much more self relent early on and matured much faster. "Alright." Short time skip
Fremy had done her best to feed the tiny vixen though without the actual long term experience or know how it proved quite difficult. the tiny fox was messy and refused the bottle opting instead to drink from a bowl. Once finished Fremy relaxed down into the trunk of the oak tree to eat her meal. Everyone else was practically finished by this point but she wasn't in a rush. The food wasn't half had, better then anything Fremy could have hoped to cook up. At her side rested Bulbasaur with a stuffed bely and at her feet played the baby Vulpix who was batting at a pair of short mushrooms. Fremy didn't own a tent or even a bed roll so she was as always going to rest on the ground and she was drifting off to sleep when something jabbed at her boot sharply.
Jolting upright her eye wide with shock as she was confronted with a very angry Paras. The tiny bug had been the pair of mushrooms Vulpix had been playing with. Its body like the Geodude before it had been buried in the ground and had been disturbed. The Vulpix wasn't aware of the danger it posed to him and took another swap at it playfully. The Paras responded with a single claw drawn across its face. Yelping and flinching back the Fox unintentionally blasted white flames out that just as before scorched the grass to ash and defeated the bug pokemon with a single clean hit. Fremy reached out grabbing the flailing vixen by the scruff of the neck and held him so his flames where directed rather then sent haphazardly in all directions. The fox relaxed back down whimpering as Fremy drew its head around so she could see it. SA red lined ran across its noes but it wasn't deep enough to have drawn blood. "You'll be fine." She said setting the fox down.

Hawlucha noticing the scuffle had retrieved a pokeball and was headed straight for the defeated Paras. Fremy took to long to register what it was doing to stop it. Like a football player showing off by slamming the ball into the ground after a touchdown Hawlucha leaped into the air and tossed the white orb at the bug type. Reaching out Fremy was about to scream NO when the light erupted out and captured the pokemon.
Fremy sat frozen, shocked at the dance the Hawlucha was now doing. What was its deal ? The orb raddled back and forth a few times but ultimately it sealed. Fremy, half holding the Vulpix still couldn't think of anything to do or say. She wanted to scream and laugh at the same time.

The one from Pallet town grew curious. Yes, there was a beautiful creature within the arms of a woman she had decided to travel with. The length of it was unknown but she was still a travel buddy. And should Miss. Chimory no longer travel with her Misa knew that she would still come to aid her should it have to do with her interests. Vulpix definitely fell under her interest for not only was it a Pokemon but it was an extraordinarily colored baby Pokemon. There was no way she was going to keep her eyes off this one. Even though it may not be her place to care for the Pokemon she would still do it without so much of a second thought. ”I’ll get right to it then.” The child went back to her station to prepare the necessities.
A short time skip later
Preparations were made complete. The girl already handed over the bottled milk to Victoria in order to feed the baby. In the mean time she had the rest of her party clean up dinner. It couldn’t even be called so much of a Pokemon fight as it was a disappointment. The thief was the Geodude from before, it apparently had come back was going to make off with the leftovers for another Pokemon. ”Just how many thieves are in this area.” She felt like she couldn’t relax knowing that Pokemon were out there to get her goods. For the mean time she pocketed the Geodude on her belt and resumed her tasks. Well she would have resumed them normally but even this child was given a show. A familiar but rare sighting of a Paris was taking under place. The baby Vulpix was able to hold its own against a much stronger opponent, well it was a poor matchup for the dual-type. ”It looks like your party keeps growing and growing.”

╠═══════════════════════════════════════════════╣ As the shock wore off and Fremy regained her senses she wanted to yell at the Hawlucha for making an idiots decision but the more the thought about it the more it seemed like a good thing. Paras was part grass type and could learn moves that would make the match with Misty especially difficult. Even its ability, Effect spore, would make the match harder for her to win. The only problem was that Paras where notoriously difficult to train. They lacked the natural power other grass or bug types had. None the less if she could teach it a powerful enough grass type move then it be worth the effort. Calmed down with a little self coxing Fremy gave the Hawlucha a pat on the had. "Good, job." She muttered softly picking the orb up. It was worth more to her in battle then Rapidash was so it was an easy trade off. Rearranging the order that her pokeballs sat on her hip Fremy switched Rapidash to her reserve in favor of the Paras. Training would begin promptly tomorrow morning at first light. In the mean time she needed to tend to Vulpix. A quick spray of a potion did the trick. Though the vixen didn't appreciate the spray itself. Bulbasaur still lay relaxed at her side now joined by the tired infant Vulpix whom snuggled into Fremy's hip as she herself settled back into the roots of the tree for the night. Her only blanket the cloak that hung from around her neck in tatters at the ends from years of wear and tear. Rapidash and Donphan took point on either side of Fremy while Hawlucha took a long hanging branch as his bed. Fremy drifted into a deep slumber rather quickly. Dreaming of her childhood before things had turned sore. The nights where warm now and today was a full moon so the sky would have been especially beautiful to watch had Fremy not passed out so quickly and slept so soundly. She wouldn't even wake up until nearly nine the next morning as oppose to her normal six or seven. Still though she was up before her pokemon. If there was a river near by now would have been a good time to catch a cold bath and prepare herself for the day to come.

The woman’s dual type was quite impressive. It had grabbed one of Miss. Chimory’s Pokeballs and ultimately caught a Paris. ’I wonder if this means that Hawlucha is a Trainer now? Or does it not matter?’ Her mind was wondering about the possibilities of a Pokemon being able to become a Trainer. Did it mean that it would be able to battle Gym Leaders, a Breeder, a anything? The child didn’t oppose the idea but she felt that she was already aware of the answer. Hawlucha was Victoria’s Pokemon, which meant that any Pokemon it caught would be hers automatically. This is what her thought ended on while her mind tried to focus in on the present.
Clean-up was concluded and it looked like the fire was going to go to sleep soon. So far, tonight’s camp didn’t end in tragedy, no one left or unexpectedly had to do something. So for the mean time Misa went towards her tent while tugging along her pack. A change of clothes for tonight’s weather were needed as she wasn’t going to be sleeping in her attire. Her parents taught her and made her bring a few extra pairs of clothing for the trip. Plus, whenever she would arrive at a Pokemon Center she could go on to clean up her clothes and then stock up supplies at the nearest supply store. But it didn’t seem like getting out of Mt. Moon was a priority. Well, maybe not yet as she wanted her Pokemon to get some training in. There was no way that she felt that they were ready. Ivysaur may have a chance but her Pokemon needed to train too. The Pokemon she could rely on was Ivysaur and Pikachu. That isn’t to say she could rely on the others but when it came to Pokemon that packed a punch then those two were the ones. Pikachu still needed much training, in all honestly they all did. So by tomorrow Misa was certain that she would go out to train but not before making some breakfast. The station was already set up to prepare for what she had in mind. Though the child wanted to go in the forest to look for any berries that could be eaten for breakfast. It would taste good and could be made in various ways.
”Good night Miss. Chimory, good night Pokemon.” Misa was dressed and ready to tuck in for the night. She rested near the entrance of the tent while her Pokemon followed. They all clamored into the tent and snuggled up to the girl. Dewgong was the biggest of them all but it still made room for the large Ivysaur and Growlithe. At about 6:50 AM the child awoke from the sun beginning to stream through the sky. Taking care of Pokemon in Kanto always required her to wake up nice and early. Though she wouldn’t deny that it took about 20 minutes to sluggishly get ready for the day. The Pokemon were sound asleep, most of them were anyways until some shifting from the child’s end woke up a few. Specifically Ivysaur and Pidgey, these were the two that had been with her the longest on her journey and were a bit more accustomed to waking up with her. Pidgey was surprisingly quick to adapt to her time, she didn’t realize that she had an early bird on her hands. ”Shhhhh,” the tone was soft as Misa beckoned for the two out of the tent. The duties for today would be to find some food for breakfast, and maybe even get a battle in.

With the assistance of Pidgey the human was able to find a small stream. She washed up her face, hands, and arms to prepare herself for the day. The time they would stay here was uncertain but the child felt that she could put off a good rinse off till later. Right now it was best if she could prepare food for all of them when they woke up. Sadly, Misa was unsure what sort of food Miss. Chimory liked. It all depended what she could find in the area but there were certainly some abundance of food if Pokemon could make their home here. It was just a matter of finding it and determining whether humans could consume it.
So after the quick clean-up the three set out to find some ingredients. As they were by a reliable source of water, at least what she can only imagine, they set up looking around the area. She believed that there may be berries of a sort or even food that would grow around an area with fresh water. Perhaps ten or even fifteen minutes passed when the three of them found bushes after bushes filled with Oran and Pecha berries. Many of them looked ripe for the taking. However, Misa strictly remembered that one shouldn’t take more than what was necessary. Though the child wasn’t quite sure how much everyone would consume. Certainly a berry or two would fill up a small Pokemon’s belly but how much would bigger Pokemon like Rapidash and Dewgong consume? At least she knew where the berries were and light was already filling the skies. The child determined that if they ever needed more than they could always come back to this spot and get more. Pidgey could only carry so much in its talons while Ivysaur was able to carry much more than Misa was able to imagine. Misa carried a couple more berries in her arms and they all headed back to the camp, though not before the fruits were washed.
Setting down the berries, Misa noted that Victoria was still asleep. The sounds she would make if she were to prepare breakfast would surely drive the woman out of sleep. That wasn’t what she wanted so she would have to focus on something else. While thinking of the next plan to undertake Pikachu came in to the picture. ”Good morning Pikachu,” her voice was still hushed as she motioned for the Pokemon to lower its voice. The yellow mouse gave a nod and looked over at the berries. Pidgey had rested upon the kids’ shoulder and Pikachu felt a bit envious at the sight. ”I wonder if there is anything we can get for breakfast.” Misa thought on it, Ivysaur didn’t seem to care, Pidgey glanced around the area, and Pikachu just stared at her face. The yellow Pokemon tugged at her pants and beckoned the girl to follow.

”Pikachu?” With no way of knowing where the creature was going the child followed along. Needless to say the other of her companions followed. Pikachu was sure to make certain that the human child was following it before going off into the forest. It would keep an eye, an ear, and a nose out. It had wanted to show her something, something that it found last night within the forest. For Pidgey and Pikachu did stay somewhat close to each other in their adventure for food but Pikachu was the one who had taken the lead most of the time. It had stumbled upon a spot that it was sure the human would like.
They walked for maybe about 20 minutes and the girl was getting quite concerned about the distance they were putting between themselves and the camp. More sunlight was already filling up the sky and she grew concerned about Miss. Chimory. ’Will she be alright without breakfast? Will she get concerned if she doesn’t see me right in the morning?’ Thoughts relating to Victoria popped up in her mind and made each step uncertain. ”Pika!” Misa looked at the Electric-type and then to the lake right behind it. She did not recollect such a location even as she peered into it. Within this water were fish, fish ready for the consumption of humans. ”This is a wonderful idea, thank you.” Pikachu looked pleased as Misa praised her. Its cheeks were dashed pink as it went back to her side. ”I guess if I’m going to use what Brock gave me then I might as well put it into practice.” The child took out the fishing device, there were still no instructions so she was uncertain what the next step was. There wouldn’t be any fishermans around the area so the child had to think on it. ’I know that I should put the end in the water but I don’t think a fish is dumb enough to bite it. I need to disguise the end so that the fish will be fooled into biting it.’ Misa took another look at the fish in the water and then looked around the area. Ivysaur sighed at the child and walked to the edge of the water. With its vines it began to toss one fish after another out of the water. The noise caught back the girl’s attention and saw four fish sprawled out on the grass. ”I guess that works too.” Retracting her rod she picked up the fishes. Pidgey took one fish in each of its talons while Pikachu carried one. ”Thank you, I’ll be sure to reward you all once we get back to camp.” Most of them cheered at the prospect of more food but Ivysaur was the one who kept quiet.
Returning back to the camp the fish were placed down at her station and went to see if Miss. Chimory had awaken. Yet the woman was not present but her Pokemon were. ”I guess she woke up then?” Butterfree flew slowly out of the tent and came to rest upon her head. ”Good morning Butterfree, did you see where Miss. Chimory went off to? It won’t take long to get things ready for breakfast.” Butterfree feebly pointed at a direction that Misa assumed was where Miss. Chimory went off to. ”Thank you, could you please wake up Growlithe and have him start another fire?” Free…” the creature said and went off to do just that. At least Misa could still use the wood from last night for today’s breakfast of grilled fish and berries. It was probably a lot better than the dehydrated ingredients in her bag. ”Alright, lets go get Miss. Chimory.” There were only two cheers and a small grunt coming from the grass-type as they made their way to the adult.
