 Shinku ran his tongue across his lips. "Flowers with star-shaped leaves and the tiny white blossoms." He finally said, fingers reaching out to the pestle and mortar wanting to hold onto something solid while the crooked beast smirked at them.
He wanted to get out of here soon but it would haunt him if he ran away from such a person. He was just as strong as any Haka, and he would not be intimated by a herbalist. He could feel Shizuka distress with prompted him to action. "Please, I need to get home soon so if you could hurry." He said hand reaching back to take Shizuka's to sooth and calm.

 Shizuka winced as Shinku requested the herbs he needed. He was sure the herbalist knew just what was wrong with him the minute Shinku mentioned the herb. With a slow nod, the old Gehaka scuttled over to a shelf where there were many glass jars. He took one down, shook some of the contents in a small sack and handed Shinku the herbs. He took the gold he was given and, as he looked from the nervous pale Gehaka to his prouder Haka, he nodded and his golden eyes shone. "Have a pleasant day..." He shambled back inside the store and Shizuka immediately pulled Shinku by the hand he had beeen holding towards the light at the opening of the alleyway.
The sun was now going down on such an adventurous day. The flower garden, his engagement, and the creepy herbalist made Shizuka actually yearn to return to his home, where he was at least safer than he was here. Slowing at the end of the alley, he turned to Shinku and said, "I'm sorry. I just had to get away from him," and bowed just a bit. "It's getting late. Perhaps we could return to my house for a cup of tea before you return to yours? Mother should be pleased to meet you... I'd... I rather hope he doesn't say anything crass and I apologize before hand. What do you wish?" he asked demurely.

He clutched the herbs, slipping them in a small bag along with the pestle and mortar. "Thank you," he said, giving a small incline of his head to the crooked beast following Shizuka out. He shivered and held the other when he finally reached the crowded streets of the main street.
"Its..it's alright. I was getting a little creeped out as well." He said looking down, slightly embarrassed about admitting it. He scuffed his feet. "I..I would like to got to your home; I would certainly enjoy a cup of tea Shizuka." He lifted up slightly placing a kiss on Shizuka chin wanting to forget the creepy Gehaka.

Shizuka nodded and ran his fingers through Shinku's hair reassuringly before leading on toward his home on the banks of the Xang Zou river.
