Kneeling down he tilted his head to examine the young teenager and sighed. He held out his arms and scooped Ali up, taking care to prop her head on his shoulder as he laid one arm under her back and the other under her legs. "Then we should go... I guess we could go back to my place since I have no idea where any of you live." Jay paused and took a deep breath and then sighed, "I can't imagine returning Ali to her parents in this state." Standing up and turning to Victoria and then to Aniq. He cocked his head and studied him for a moment with a slight signal of distrust and again turned to Victoria.
"Perhaps a little instruction is in order regarding our abilities? I've only dabbled here and there... but I feel we can become stronger as a team. I mean, Ali and I could freeze stuff, how cool is that?!" He beamed and began a steady walk to exit the warehouse, "I wonder what all three of us could do together, maybe some kind of Triforce beam!?"
Victoria felt that the snake woman was completely gone and smirked. Then, she watched Jay pick up the unconscious Ali. "Yeah, we do need to wait until she wakes up before returning her, and my place is across town. Yours may be closer." She said as she went back into civilian form. Her eyes were already back to normal, but her hair was still black.
"I will contact her parents and tell them she is at a sleepover." Mother Nature said as she stood up and walked with the others to the exit.
Aniq noticed the distrust in Jay's face, but he could understand that. It would take time to earn his trust.
Jay scrunched his nose and sighed, this was a liability issue waiting to burst into flames. Carrying a passed out, underage, teen was really going to do wonders for business. Suppose he should just close the blinds and allow the kid to rest on a couch. He shook his head and began to walk to the warehouses exit. "Need a car... If I make a car appear it better not be one of those smart cars.... I will drive it into a ditch and hope it explodes" He began to mutter, remembering about mother Nature's information about eco-safe vehicles. And so, He lifted his hand in the air and willed the mode of transportation to appear.
No, not just any car- brand new and seemingly steaming fresh off the lot. Magma yellow in the perfect color. The Fisker Karma, a dream for any rich boy and a far off impossibility for someone of Jay class to even think about. His mouth dropped when the call was made. So perfect in every angle and for a sports car to have four doors- it had been more than perfect to lay Ali in the back seat. Gods, his heart was pumping in his chest, as if it was to burst while his mouth still had parted in its drop.
Walking closer, he bent over and pulled the cars door handle and laid Ali in the back seat. Mindful of her head, he was sure to prop her up. He stood and closed the door. "....Mum'Nature, I could die... and return to the heavens." He spoke and did a full walk around the car before coming and sitting in the Divers seat. "Okay, so Ali is a Cycle, I'm a car... Ooooh, I bet Victoria is a tank..." He chuckled and rolled down the window, Come oooon, I wanna test her out! Mum'Nature and her hubby can telliport back."
Victoria looked at the car Jay summoned and looked at it in awe. It was awesome, and she totally wanted a ride in it. After Jay placed Ali in the backseat and went into the driver's seat, he begged to get going. She smiled and sat in the passenger seat. "I am curious about the car as well. Lets go."
Mother Nature nodded at Jay and turned to Aniq. "Shall we?"
Aniq nodded and took her hand. They teleported back and waited outside for the guardians to return. However, Aniq noticed that the door lock looked like it was picked and gestured to Mother Nature.
Mother Nature looked at the look and raised a brow. "Shall we investigate before the kids come back?"
"Maybe we should wait until they come back? They might wonder where we went if they don't see us." Aniq replied.
"That is a good point, but if the culprit is dangerous to them, it would be better if we took care of it already." Mother Nature said.
"That is a good point as well." Aniq said, not sure what they should do at the moment.
A moment with broad grin was taken when Victoria entered the car, seemingly excited as well to test the vehicle out. Shifting to manual he tested the clutch and gripped the steering wheel then, hunching his shoulders, he pressed the gas. Sending the trio zooming off into the large warehouse parking lot and then into the city's streets. He would have to admit, keeping the speed limit under control was more than difficult, there was an urge to truly test the car of his dreams out but, suppose he'll have to wait for another opportunity as Ali was still in the back seat.
Driving to the lounge, he parked on the side street and exhaled. As if holding his breath the entire time from excitement, he shivered and patted the steering wheel with his palms. "Getting beat up was so worth this, remind me to opt for that more often... also... ow." He chuckled and rubbed his forearm where the wipe's thorns caught, "I had forgotten about this..."
Jay grinned and got out of the low car and began to retrieve Ali from the back. He bent over and reached, picking the girl up bridal style once again. He used his side to close the door and walked to the store front and went fifty shades of white. Once dark skinned, he was as white as vanilla ice cream. The keyhole, it had been tampered with and he could feel his fingers loose feeling as heat now rose to his cheeks. He was pissed.
The male turned to Aniq and boosted Ali to him, "Take her!" He demanded and stormed inside. A bit of blind rage, he was there to find what had been taken or even if the intruder was still there. Taking the broom still sitting by the door way, he approached the sounds of his blenders mixing and raised the brooms shaft until he suddenly dropped it as a burst of confusion hit him like a tun of bricks. "What... the hell?!" He growled to the girl before him.
Before Mother Nature and Aniq could decide what to do, the car pulled up and the guardians came out. Before they could say anything about the lock, Jay noticed it and gave Ali to Aniq. He had no choice but to take her. He looked down at the girl and smiled a little. It reminded him of when he used to hold Victoria while she was a baby.
Victoria followed Jay into the lounge and was ready for an intruder. However, they found a girl...making smoothies. She raised a brow and looked the girl over. What the heck was this girl doing here? Obviously, she was no thief or demon.
Avery was making the smoothie and she heard the door open. She turned off the blender and looked up. The first thing she saw was the owner with a broom, that he dropped. He looked really mad. She was a little shaky, but she acted calm. 'He won't hurt me,' she thought. She didn't know what to say or do. She was innocent. All she wanted was to test out a smoothie. This seemed like a good place to do it. She didn't know the place would be closed, and she had told her parents she would be here.
Jays eyes narrowed to the girl and he grit his teeth to the silence that had fallen between the trio. "Breaking and entering... fantastic" He muttered and turned about and plucked his phone from his pocket. Dialing for the local police to deal with the situation. This whole thing was more than unnerving, first Victoria getting kidnapped and then His lounge haven been broken into... what next?
Swearing under his breath, Jay turned his back on the young girl whom was helping herself to the smoothies and finally was put through, "Yeah, I would like to report a break in at The Tea Lounge..." He paused to listen to the other end and slowly tilted his head, "So the alarm hadn't gone off, fantastic..." He paused again, "Hey, I have her right here. Just dispatch someone..." Ember eyes cut to The girl then to Victoria. He honestly didn't want to deal with this right now as he was placed on hold. Shoving his hand into his right jean pocket, he hunched and looked to the girl, "Suppose they'll just send you back to your parents, I don't want to file charges."
Victoria watched the girl until she heard Jay dial the police department. She looked over at him and saw that he was really irritated. He had been through a lot today, and she assumed that is why he was overreacting. When he said that he did not want to file charges, she finally spoke. "If you are not pressing charges, let me handle this."
Meanwhile, Aniq was still standing near the entrance with Ali in his arms. He did not hear much commotion going on in the back room, so he walked over to the door. He saw the girl in the wheelchair and raised a brow. What the heck was she doing here, and why?

Avery was scared as Jay narrowed his eyes at her. She didn't want him to call the police. Naturally, he did. When he told her he wasn't going to press charges, she was relieved. When she heard that the police were going to take her back home to her parents, she just sighed. She didn't want to explain to her parents why she was coming home in a police car. She realized she should try her smoothie to see how it tastes. She poured it and took a sip silently. "I'm not half bad at this," she said to nobody in particular. She took another sip, and she thought she saw...'Ali?!' She put down her smoothie so she could wheel over to her. "I know I pretty much broke in and all, but there's someone over there, near the entrance...with a friend of mine in his arms....but I dunno who he is," she said honestly, beginning to go over to the entrance.
Victoria heard the girl pouring the smoothie and looked over at her. She was acting that she belonged here but appeared to realized that she was in major trouble. "That someone is my father." Victoria said, finally speaking to the girl. "Knowing our friend does not excuse what you did. If you fix the lock and pay for the ingredients you used for your smoothie, I think we could put all of this behind us. What do you think?" She said as she turned to Jay. She did not want to say names yet. They did not know this girl, even though she seemed harmless.
Ember eyes were still narrowed in disapproval, even seeing as the kid knew Ali and wheeled herself over to the passed out friend. Noting and feeling he too was being stared at, he looked up to Victoria and shifted with the shake of head. He had briefly caught on to the words she spoke and honestly, she hadn't expressed much of a personal responsibility to her actions and that alone was worse than her helping herself to the smoothie and breaking the lock on the door.
Jay gave a slight rumble in his throat "I think she should wait for the cops outside..." He spoke in response to Victoria and turned his gaze back to the kid and then motioned to Ali.
Outside, only one patrol vehicle with flashing blue lights drove up and parked between the parking meters. Just one, only one man in uniform stepped from the car and closed his door then began walked up and into the lounge. Slick dirty blond hair was pushed back and gelled under the cap, typical blue eyes to match the look of the man whom was built like a linebacker. Looking to and into the restaurant, the young cop tilted his head and walked in. He was scanning the area but really, he was confused as there was no one in custody as the report said but only two strange people to his right with a girl in one of their arms, a girl in a wheel chair and then Jay whom appeared pissed and a woman who seemed to be.. normal.
"Come on Jay, This is the first time you've ever called some thing lik this in- I take you seriously bro'" He spoke and scratched the back of his head, still looking around. Casual in tone, he knew Jay since high school and ever since his mother and him moved into the neighbor hood, they were friends from way back. Jay sighed and folded his arms and motioned with his head to the girl beside Ali and Aniq, "Believe it or not, this is the one whom broke my lock and helped herself... again, not dangerous as far as I know," He spoke and then raised a brow, "Suppose you can return her to her guardians? Just tell them what happened?"
Ali Avery looked at Jay nervously when she heard him mention the police. 'My parents are gonna kill me...' Avery thought. She had wanted to make a joke when the woman had said that it was her father, but if she did she knew she'd just make more trouble for herself. Ali woke up hearing all the commotion of a police officer and she heard something about...paying for ingredients she used? 'Huh?' Ali was confused by everything. She didn't even know how she got here! Meanwhile, Avery was listening to Jay and the officer. "I'm not dangerous. I just know how to pick a lock! I wouldn't have picked it in the first place if the stupid automatic door opener hadn't been broken!" she interrupted the adults. She quickly realized what she said. "I didn't do anything to the door opener," she said quietly, before anyone could accuse her of that too. Ali heard..."Avery?" she mumbled, unsure of if it was actually Avery or if she was confused from just waking up. 'What's going on?' Ali thought, confused. When Jay mentioned returning her to her guardians, Avery hoped her older brother John would be home. He rarely was, and she doubted he would be. She got out her iPod touch with her right hand and skillfully unlocked it upside down. She was barely looking down. She opened Skype and went to her Messages. She tapped on 'John' and quickly typed.

Everyone gets nervous, but I am sure that you will be fine when the day comes. I am actually getting excited for you. lol
Victoria nodded at Jay's words. He must have been really pissed. Then again, the girl had not acknowledged what she had done, even after she offered such a generous compromise. As she thought about it, she started to feel the same as Jay. Then, the cop came, who seemed to know Jay. "You really done it now, Kid. It is too late to express remorse. You made your bed, and now, you are going to sleep in it." She said with a slight smirk.
After Jay was done talking to the cop, Avery started to ramble about the door opener being broken. "Nice try, Kid. Making a statement like that either shows that you are stupid or playing stupid. Even if the door opener was broken like you claimed, you still would not need to pick the lock. Do you really think we are idiots?" She said bluntly.
Aniq had to smiled at how Victoria was talking. He could hear the hint of malice from the darkness Aeron helped make grow. He cynical view of humans was coming out, but he hope it was not enough to alarm the others.
He was suddenly snapped out of thought when Ali started to move and talk. "It is all right, dearie. You are safe." He said as he laid her down on a couch he had found.
I suck at communicating. I am very sorry I hadn't replied in a long while. This past few months, I had been planning my own wedding and well, getting married. Still settling down so I am not sure when I'll have the time to reply.
Also... PS4 as a wedding gift... I can't resist not to play it.
