It was almost amazing how tired Imbere was. Like really, tending to all those people attending her booth sure seemed like something small, but when you analyzed it, it was pretty hard to do. She flopped back down and fell asleep-- but not before managing to take a ticket. AND RIPPING IT. Great.

Slaughters own tail curled upwards in an arch, Giving almost the appearance of a squirrel only not at all bushy. "OH! You've got one too!" The boil sounded quite excited to see such a thing that he'd forgotten his manners entirely and gave Zar's tail a curious poke with a clawed finger.

Zar was not expecting to be touched and as such, his tail did not react well to being poked. It immediately responded by forcefully throwing loops of coil around the other boil's wrist and without the usual gentleness he often displayed when sending for other people's intentions and feelings, forcefully sought to get a grasp on the boil's emotions, sending a kick of cold predatory anger along with it.
He reacted as soon as he could, panickily seizing the offending appendage and starting to pry it off. "Sorry, sorry!" he said hurriedly. "It's very temperamental."

"Prehensile to-" Slaughter gave a small startled yelp. Being seized by Zar's tail wasn't the cause - rather what came with it. There was shock at first but then a strange void, as if there was a missing space somewhere in there before emotions and thoughts just suddenly erupted forth. Like being hit by a tidal wave, the water first seemed to go away before crashing down with its full strength. His own tail was outwardly curling and uncurling back and forth as if seeking something. When Zar pulled away finally, it was as if a loud roar suddenly collapsed into deafening silence.
Slaw staggered back a bit and rubbed the side of his head. Then thunked his palm against his temple.

Zar held his struggling tail tightly in one claw and once again apologized. "It just gets away from me sometimes. I would recommend that you do not touch it again without warning. There is not a great deal I can do about it." The other boil's thoughts had been chaotic in a way most creatures were not. It had not been particularly pleasant, but he could not tell if that was the nature of his mind or if it was the fact it had been a surprised reaction.
"I simply cannot say sorry enough."

Slaughter shook his head and then froze for just a moment. He drew a deep slow steadying breath and then...
... he was fine. "Woo! What a rush!" He cringed remembering where he was and lowered his voice substantially, "hah, sorry. Forgot creeple were sleeping." He nervously ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it with his fingertips. "I guess we don't have the same tail then. Mine sure as jack can't do that." He reached behind to grab his own tail to show it to Zar, it curled around his hand instinctively. "Have minds of their own though."

Carelessly Judas had grabbed at the ticket wheel on his way to sitting down. The result? When he was slouched on the couch and finally glanced at his ticket it was a ripped up mess. "Aww Jack, guess that was my fault wasn't it?" He frowned, and slipped his bag around to his lap. What had he got today? One lollipop, three stick of floresce bites, and two friend floresce on a sticks. Noticing a demon deep in conversation with another boil who looked like he was part of the booth, Judas actually had the thought to ask. "You guys don't mind if I eat here do you?" He was just hungry, and the fish, oh he liked fish and there was nowhere else around to sit. Not sure which of you to poke, 2nd try, SN: Wingseagle

His travels round the carnival brought him back to the NAP booth again. What were the odds he'd be able to walk up and snag another ticket? Pretty good, actually, as he did just that, once again taking a moment to thank the fine, upstanding students of NAP for the wonderful work they were doing at improving the general experience of the day at the faire. Zar eyed the other boil's tail and nodded. "I would prefer that mine did not do it. But it can't be avoided, it just developed and I am stuck with it." He did look approving however of prehensile tails in general.
The other boil who addressed him got a grin. "I'm sure its fine if you eat here as long as it is none of our patrons!"

It seemed a pleasant coincidence that this was the first both that Tanvir happened to walk up to. The black dragon had honestly planned on ignoring the festivities entirely... But, well, he might have been a little curious.
Though it was really tempting to just pick out one of those oversized pillows and just stay at this booth. He might not have had another to go by just yet, but Tanvir was pretty sure this was the best booth.
Peering at the signup sheet, he pondered scratching down his name. Hm.
While he thought it over, the dragon reached out to take his first ticket from the dispenser. Maybe he could win a giant pillow or something.

Slaw looked confused before fluffing his own hair again. "I think Imma go explore some more." He stopped the action to reach into a pocket and fish out a card and offered it to Zar. "My business card if you're ever in town and bored." It was black with hot pink writing that said 'Heavy Metal' and then in hunter orange was an address and a strange artsy shape of a tree in neon green at the bottom.
