Making Tea!One of the owners of this particular booth looked familiar, at least that flair of fashion and that confidence voice. Maple almost meekly scooted away but seeing as how the nature of the game for the two ghouls' booth didn't seem particularly terrible in any sense - except the whole brewing tea because she was bound to spill it upon herself - she decided to stay and try it.
It honestly seemed like everything was being picked out at random. Honestly nothing looked like it would go together at all. This was going to go terribly.Quote: 6= Green Tea Hard to tell from black or oolong at first glance, but when brewed it has a greenish color and a mild taste. 5= Orange Peel It seems someone left bits of an orange sitting on the counter. Might as well toss it in. 5= Dark Blue A white teacup with dark blue accents. Very stylish. 5= A pink doily, very dainty.

"Ready for Tasting!" Prize won: ticket Minis S/N: chirigami
Maple was very tempted to close her eyes when the tea she had attempted to make was ready to be judged. All she could muster was a small step back and an incredibly worried face. Which really was close to what she placed on it everyday.
Honestly, she expected nothing for the presentation of the cup and doily but at least the taste of it wasn't all that terrible. That could at least be counted as a success? Right?

After two hours of work and paint splatter everywhere, Rei completed his masterpiece. OMG. I totally jacked into someone when sleeping on Nap Club, he internally screamed. And that person is seriously feminine! *meanwhile, a totally unrelated plant spirit sneezed so hard the booth she was in got entirely covered with sap* Fortunately, this happens to be temporary. The effect wears off when he tried to make a doily for the cup he made...aaaand it's abstract. Look at my pretty teacup! Doily: http://snowflakes.barkleyus.com/viewflake.php?id=28877322Sn: Rathurue

"Not too bad, no," Marcy took another sip, "Not too bad at all. I like it." She smiled reassuringly and slid a ticket across the table. She was telling the truth. It wasn't half bad. Marcy didn't like lying about tea. Seeing someone dropping off a decorated tea cup, Marcy nodded. "That's lovely!" Rathurue The SE mini will be sent as soon as time allows!

Making Tea!As he'd done such a terrible job of making tea his first two times, Gabby tried to choose things differently this time around. Or, at the very least, choose a different doily. In fact, he chose the one doily he never would have picked in a million years. If this didn't bring him good luck, nothing would. Quote: 1= Black Tea A common type of tea. Easily strong. Some consider it to be bitter. 3= Mint A strong flavored leaf. Leaves you feeling refreshed, when eaten alone, at least. How is it in tea? 6= Orange This cup seems to have been bought at the school store. 5= A pink doily, very dainty.

He couldn't even fathom how he'd managed to create a tea using similar ingredients, that tasted acceptable this time around. Was it really the doily? Could that have possibly been the deciding factor all along? Was this a sign to begin to incorporate some pink accents into his wardrobe to gain better luck at gaining as much loot as possible??!?! Nah. "Ready for Tasting!" Prize won: Mini! Minis S/N: AlaniaQuote: 61-90 – "This is quite tasty! Goes well with the cup chosen, too. It's all about the proper mood, you know." Good blend! Nice work! +1 Minipet

The boil with the pretty wings was back. "You can do it," she said, certain he could. He'd been practicing. And that practice paid off. "See! Just had to keep trying! This is quite nice." With a smile she sipped at the tea some more. "And your presentation is surprisingly pleasant," she added.

Gabby took her compliment completely the wrong way. "Yeah. I try really hard to make sure my presentation looks good. It takes a while in the morning, but I think it's worth it." He gave her a very subtle wink. "I appreciate the notice." Yeah. He completely assumed she was talking about his looks.

Marcy blinked at him. "A long time in the morning?" She looked at him for a moment, noting again that his wings were very pretty, and his hair too- and then she glanced at the tea cup and the doily. Too buy herself time she very calmly took another sip of tea. Then she asked, "Just how long does it take?" Marcy was slightly confused. She could have sworn she watched him pick the cup and doily out. Was he perhaps talking about something else?

"Oh, about a half hour picking out what clothing to wear for the day, and then another grooming my hair. So that's the first hour, and the entire second hour is dealing with wing grooming. I mean, I'm just glad they're not feathers, you know? Ice is easier to deal with. Still, it takes forever to make sure everything looks just perfect." He grinned smugly, showing no teeth, and his eyes lidded heavily. "But perfection is worth the price."

Half hour? Hour? It took Marcy a moment to catch up. "Ooh," she said, in understand and awe. But that explained why everything about him was so pretty. He spent so much time making it that way. Like a gentleman- or a Proper boil.
"Perfection certainly is," she agreed. She'd learned that brewing tea, but that was different. Setting the teacup down, she smiled at him. "And it shows! Your hair is quite pretty, and I've adored your wings since you first stopped by. They are very, very pretty." He was very nice, not just pretty, and more than deserved the compliments. At least Marcy thought so.
"Do you go through all of that everyday?"

Marcy had no idea how easily it was to keep Gabby stationary when compliments were being dished out so easily. He leaned down against the booth, and touched the doilies, fondly swiveling them around the table. "They are." He agreed, his voice thick with pride and smugness. His wings were puffing out, proudly showing off in the hopes of garnering more compliments. "And I do. Every single day. Unless I'm being distracted - but even then, I find the time. I don't require sleep, so I simply plan my time out as best as I can. If I didn't have time to properly groom, why, I think I'd simply stay home that day. Better that, than anyone see me at less than my best." His wings were shedding mist from how much they had puffed out obnoxiously. "A wise man once said, to be the best requires dedication to excellence." He'd made that up on the spot, and he knew no wise man. "So every day, I follow that motto."

Marcy listened, nothing short of fascinated. The type of ghoul who focused one one thing at a time, she hardly noticed him playing with the doilies. Instead, she was staring, wide eyes sparking (or was that just her ghost glow) as his wings shifted, getting a little bigger and a lot fancier. "Ooh." Another sound of awe. He was so grand, with all of his time planning and things. "Dedication to excellence," she repeated, committing it to memory. "It sounds very wise indeed. A very good motto to follow." Her guest must be almost as wise as that wise man, to follow through with such dedications. Some part of her mind wondered if etiquette dictated that she should offer some kind of motto, like a trade. Marcy didn't really know, and right then most of her thoughts were being distracted by the pretty. "That's very pretty, that effect. The wispy bits at an air of mystery, I think. How do you make them do that?" She nodded at his wings, which were even prettier than they had been earlier. Wings were not something she had, so she really had no clue about them. She had no clue about lots of things.
