"Good, really good." C.T complimented honestly she looked down at her hands, flexing her fingers lightly, before she looked back up at Esther with a smirk, resting a hand on her hip. "So that's two." C.T said before walking forward and gripping Esther's collar again. "And a promise is a promise, so I'll show you something Extra." C.T made sure her grip was nice and tight on Esther's collar. "If you are grabbed, by someone. Small," C.T felt it necessary to point out that size mattered, especially in Esther's case, if this move was done at the wrong moment it could put the girl in an irreversibly bad position. "Instead of breaking their hold you can instead mimic their movements and grab them by the collar as well. From there, you drop back," C.T did as she said, lowering herself to the ground in a sitting position, balancing on her lower back, her legs curled upwards. "You then press your feet into your opponents stomach." C.T again demonstrated her words, pressing her feet into Esther's lower stomach. "You then push up with your legs, and pull with your hands, and they should go right over your head if you've did it quick enough." C.T didn't flip Esther over her though, no she didn't want to hurt her, but she did use her legs to lift the girl of the ground just so she could see. "If you mess this up however, you would have just given your opponent an advantage over you." C.T parted her legs and allowed Esther's body, to fall in between them on top of her. "I'm not going to discuss much in terms of a ground game with you but, if you find yourself on your back. The best thing for you to do is to defend." C.T said obviously, but this would still need a demonstration. So C.T tightly wrapped her legs around Esther's waist. "Secure them." She mumbled, before grabbing Esther's collar again and pulling forcing the girl closer to her, leaving little to no space in between them, before she wrapped her arms around Esther's neck, pulling her into a rough embrace. "And lock them, they can't strike you effectively if you give them no space. How ever if they do break free of your hold," C.T let Esther's upper body free, and went on to cover her head, holding both arms in front of her, forearms blocking her face, fist clenched on top of her head, the only thing easily accessible was her ears, and those could take punishment. "Now, try flipping me like I showed you. And don't worry, I can take a little fall, don't hold back." As she spoke, C.T opened her legs, releasing the lock she had on Esther's waist, and sat up, face to face with her girl friend. She had tried to keep as stoic as possible, but her body had reacted to the prolonged contact in a very, positive way. It would probably be best for them to move on quickly.

(School is kicking. My. a**.)
Even though C.T. was explaining the process to her as she demonstrated, Esther still squeaked a little in surprise when she realized she was being lifted off of the ground. When C.T. shifted her position so that Esther had landed on top of her, Esther found herself enjoying this particular tactic a lot more. Even if the embrace was rough and tight, she decided she would gladly endure it if it meant she could be this close to C.T.; and her body was clearly in agreement with her brain, as evidenced by the warmth that jolted through her bones like an electric shock. But then it was over, and she followed C.T.'s lead and stood.
Flip C.T.? Hitting her was one thing; C.T. could block a hit. But flipping her? Esther suddenly felt uncomfortable again. Still, she nodded, knowing C.T. wouldn't let her back out of this now. Holding up a finger to signal she needed a second, Esther did a quick scan of the yard with her eyes, then walked over to a patch of grass and other brush that appeared particularly lush. After patting the ground with her hand to affirm that it was indeed soft, Esther walked back over to C.T. and, grabbing her arms, pulled her to the location. Alright, so if she flipped C.T., now she would land on this much fuller bed of grass.
If C.T. said anything in protest or to tease her, Esther ignored it and began repeating the motions her girlfriend had just shown. Before getting C.T. involved, Esther tried the first steps on her own first, mostly to get an idea of what it felt like to fall back onto the forest floor so she wouldn't be surprised. Then, finally, she gripped C.T.'s collar and followed through with the motions. The first few times were duds, largely because Esther was still hesitant about putting C.T. in danger. Her movements were slow, delayed, and awkward, culminating in what looked more like a zebra trying to breakdance than a young woman learning self-defense. But after giving herself another pep talk, Esther managed to make it past the first few steps, grabbing C.T.'s collar, landing on her back with her feet in the air, pushing her soles against C.T.'s stomach and lifting up and over. And she got it on the first (real) try.
It wasn't the most graceful flip ever performed in the history of man, but it worked. As soon as it happened (well, as soon as Esther realized it had happened), Esther, eyes wide, scrambled over to where C.T. had ended up and immediately started checking for injuries. "O-Oh, ********, are you okay?" she muttered, temporarily losing her filter as she held up C.T.'s limbs to look for bruises.

It goes without saying, or at least she hoped it did, that C.T was unmatched in combat, at least amongst those she had fought, defeat wasn't something that C.T had ever tasted, except for with Jacob, so outside of training, she didn't know what it was like to be beaten, so needless to say, the sensation of being tossed through the air, although not a foreign one, was not one that she remembered to clearly. So she was caught a bit off guard by the weightlessness of it all, as she sailed over Esther's head and crashed onto her back about a foot away. It didn't hurt too much, she still remembered how to brace herself for a fall, but still she stayed down for a bit, how long she didn't know, but apparently it was long enough for Esther to grow concerned because before C.T knew it the girl was all over her checking for injuries. Despite herself C.T blushed a bit at the attention, looking away from Esther and scratching the back of her head. It was a bit embarassing, besides she wasn't even hurt, the only thing that had happened to her as a result of the exercise was that now she just had a bit of grass in her hair. "I'm fine Esther, you worry too much." C.T said, gently taking back on of her limbs that Esther had taken to inspecting, and stood, shaking the grass off her back as she did so, but still missing a few blades in her hair. "You're a fast learner, now we can move on to teaching you how to use that gun." C.T said, still a bit embarrassed but she figured she covered it up well. C.T approached the table that she had placed the gun on earlier and retrieved it, turning to Esther with a slight grin, before walking back over to the girl. Turning the gun over in her hand C.T extended the weapon to Esther, grip first and safety on. "So how many is that?" (talking about the kisses btw) (I'm in that boat as well, just got blessed with long weekends.)

Esther had no choice but to conclude her inspection when C.T. stood and walked away. Well, that was fine; she was satisfied, anyway. She hadn't worried so much because she thought she was good enough to actually hurt C.T., rather, she had worried so much because she knew she wasn't. A lack of understanding and practice could lead to stupid, dangerous mistakes, which could then lead to unpredictable outcomes. When it came to C.T., Esther didn't like taking risks. Not even small ones. It just wasn't worth it if one screw up meant she could get hurt.
Relaxing and smiling, Esther pushed herself off of the ground and walked over to C.T. "Four, I think," she lied, knowing full well she had earned only three kisses. But maybe C.T. hadn't been keeping track. She took the gun, looked at it for a second, noted the way it felt in the palm of her hand, bounced it up and down to assess its weight. She was surprised by how anxious it made her feel, to the point that shivers went down her spine. She set it on the nearest ledge and covered her sudden discomfort by turning to C.T. with another grin. "So, uh, do I get those kisses now, then?" she asked playfully, one arm snaking around C.T.'s waist and pulling her close while the other hand plucked the blades of grass from the girl's black hair.
(Words can't describe the jealousy I feel right now. XD)

There had only been three exercise. Hmm. C.T chuckled at Esther's reply, she'd give her four though, it was a prize she could share why not splurge a bit? C.T grinned and stepped closer into Esther's embrace after the girl had put the gun down. She wouldn't admit it aloud, but Esther's hand in her hair felt great, relaxing. She hadn't expected to ever be a person that responded to positively to touch, but hear she was, all but purring. "If you want the kisses now, they are all yours, just tell me where you want them" C.T whispered, ducking her head in closer to Esther's, pressing her forehead against the other girls. (I only have class on monday's and wednesdays XD)

(Oh man, you're killing me here, haha. Excluding the weekend, I have at least one class everyday, plus work, ensembles, and club meetings. Not to mention, the senioritis is beginning to set in, so my motivation is not at the level it should be. Let's switch schedules. XD)
Okay, Esther needed to calm down. C.T. was getting her all hot and bothered, and nothing had even happened yet. Plus, even if she was given the okay to act on her impulses, they were in a field. In broad daylight. Not far at all from the warehouse. That just wasn't classy. Esther wanted to romance C.T.--"wine and dine" her, so to speak, though perhaps without the wine. C.T. deserved that much. Maybe they would get the chance, maybe after all of this was over.
It occurred to Esther at some point during her daydreaming that she hadn't answered C.T.'s question yet. She had just been playing with C.T.'s hair, noting, at least on some level, the way the girl reacted to the affection and finding no reason to stop. When she finally realized how long she had been silent, Esther blushed. She could only guess what kind of glassy-eyed, drooley expression she had worn for the last fifteen seconds. Clearing her throat, she quickly coughed, "S-Sorry, I, uh... Ahem. Right, so, the kisses. Where do I, err... want them. Right." Esther paused a moment and took a deep breath, then smiled. "I don't want all of them now. Just one. Like a preview, almost." She tapped her lips with her index finger purposefully. "Basics for now. I have another three kisses to get creative with."

Maybe C.T was better at this whole flirting thing than she thought, if Esther's expression was anything to go by C.T was causing the girls hormones to run rampant. But at the same times, maybe she wasn't too good at this, because the closeness and contact was causing C.T's body to react in ways that she couldn't describe. Each run of Esther's hand through her hair, was causing this unfamiliar tightness in the pit of her stomach. The way Esther was looking at her really didn't help, she didn't know how to describe it, she had seen the look before, but it was different coming from Esther. It put her on the spot and almost demanded a response, but C.T didn't have a response to give, she didn't know what would be appropriate, she didn't want to scare Esther away. So when Esther cleared her throat and snapped C.T back to attention it was actually a blessing in disguise, it returned her focus to something more tangible, kissing, she could do that, it also made her more comfortable seeing that Esther was just as flustered as she was. But at least she got her kiss request out, subtly pointing for a kiss on the lips. C.T smiled faintly, before stepping in impossibly closer to Esther and raising the girls chin up with her index finger before pressing her lips gently to Esther's and then, her mind flew straight into the gutter, mid kiss. Esther would experiment with the location of the other kisses? What exactly did that mean? Where exactly did she mean? Oh God. C.T had to pull away a lot quicker than she would have liked, her face burning red, as she moved away from Esther picking up the gun that the girl had discarded, and busying herself by checking it. making sure it was loaded, and that somehow the safety hadn't come undone. "S-so, I'm guessing you haven't used one of these before?" C.T asked turning back to Esther, steadily meeting her gaze, despite her embarrassment. (I keep forgetting to say this, so I'll say it now. As a photography major, I am jealous of Esther, and that camera she has. The girl is holding an 8k body in her hand. And no, this schedule is mine! Had to go through hell and hot water to confirm these classes, and I'm keeping them!)

(Wait, for real? Holy crap. Well, Esther probably doesn't have a clue what she's holding, then. XD)
Woah. That kiss had ended very abruptly, and now Esther was beginning to panic a little. C.T. looked embarrassed, which was understandable, given the implications Esther had just made. But Esther couldn't tell if she had overstepped a boundary or not; were those flushed cheeks truly the result of pure humiliation, or was there more at work? Was discomfort hidden behind those now-averted eyes? Esther shoved her hands into her pockets, suddenly wanting to become very small. She tried not to freak herself out, though. She couldn't be sure; C.T.'s reaction really could just be embarrassment, in which case Esther should be enjoying how adorable the girl looked in such a vibrant shade of pink.
Managing to keep her face straight, Esther shook her head in response to the question. "If my dad had his way, I would've never seen one in person, either," she said. "He was weird about guns and weapons when it came to me. I used to think maybe it was because he wanted to protect me, but now I wonder if he was afraid. Afraid I would wisen up and use them against him." The more Esther thought about it, the more it made sense. He had exerted a lot of control over her throughout her life, so the idea that she could take it back somehow had probably made him nervous. Even he couldn't stop a speeding bullet.

"Where I was kept, C.T started holding the gun out to Esther again, before stepping behind the girl, resting her hands on her hips, to guide her when the time came to fire.. "Non-humes, weren't allowed to carry guns, unless we were thoroughly broken. I tried playing the part, hoping they would be fooled by my act, but Jacob would never let me touch one outside of the field. It's like he knew that I was never as obedient as I pretended to be." C.T let out a small sigh under her breath, before turning Esther, moving their bodies to face an old rusted metal targeting silhouette that had been set up in the yard a while ago, it had barely seen any use, but it still had a few dents in the metal that proved the precision of those who'd practiced. "I hate to admit it but he is smarter than most, however none of that will matter when the time comes, brains won't save him from me." C.T said, determined, but still a chill ran through her spine as she said those words, she didn't think it was healthy to talk about murdering her girlfriends father around her. It was time to change the subject. "Ok the safety is on, I'm just going to walk you though everything up to firing." C.T said, she raised her hands from Esther's waist and placed them on her elbows raising the girls hands in front of her, using a hand on Esther's stomach to slant the girls body. "Slide your dominant foot back, and place your off hand under your dominant hand to support the weapon, make sure you can clearly see down the iron sight." C.T said giving Esther a few moments to adjust before speaking again. "Do you think you are ready to fire?"

"...brains won't save him from me."
The cold metal against her much warmer skin caused Esther's fingertips to tingle uncomfortably. She did as she was instructed, stepping back with her right foot and placing her left hand under the right one. Once she had held the gun for a few seconds and gotten used to its weight and shape, Esther nodded. She was ready. Clicking off the safety, she aimed, took in a deep breath, and pulled the trigger with the exhale. The shockwave that bolted up her arms and through the rest of her body surprised her and forced her to double-back. Jesus. It was amazing how much power such a small item, smaller than a loaf of bread, could hold. Readjusting and resuming her original position, Esther tried again. She hit a tree, a large boulder, another tree, the very bottom of the target, the target's midsection. Each time she got a little better, and she kept her eyes and ears peeled for hints at ways she could improve. Learning from each shot, Esther finally managed to shoot the target three times in a row, each one in a more precise and effective spot than the last.
And then she hit the head.
"...brains won't save him from me."
It was a trick of the light, or maybe her mind was acting on its sadistic streak and making her hallucinate. Whatever it was, Esther, for a split second, saw the bullet blast through not a rusting metal dummy, but rather her father's skull. Every fatal headshot she had ever seen in the movies combined to create this one gory scene. A mere flash was enough to cause her to scream and stumble backward, the gun falling from her hands and her body trembling. The skull shattering, the blood splurting and oozing, the bits of gray matter... Even after it was gone and she closed her eyes, she could still see every gory detail on the backs of her eyelids.
Esther covered her mouth and would have sunken to the ground and started bawling if she hadn't forced herself to remain upright. Still shaking, she hurried walked over to the gun and picked it up, put on the safety, and handed it to C.T. like it was a ticking bomb. "I-I think I need a break," she said, then turned swiftly to go back inside. Reaching C.T.'s room, Esther burst into the bathroom, turned on the shower head to one of the coldest settings, and climbed into the tub fully-clothed, just trying to calm down. Sitting on the porcelain floor, she wrapped her arms around her knees and simply let the water run.

A fatal shot to the head. That was quite the surprise, seeing as many of shots Esther fired almost resulted in the recoil flinging the weapon from the girl hands. C.T was going to compliment her, tell her she was doing fine, but than Esther screamed and dropped the weapon and a number of panicked possibilities flooded C.T's mind, had the bullets ricocheted off the target and struck her somehow? C.T moved to check Esther's body for wounds on panicking more when the girl covered her mouth, she had gone pale ghost like in visage, it made C.T sick to see. But there were no wounds, no viewable damage, so C.T didn't know what to do, how to react to the event that had played out for her, and she was even more dumbstruck, when Esther picked up the weapon she had dropped and handed it back to her. "I-I think I need a break,"She said, and then she was gone, back inside. Leaving C.T standing with a gun in her hand and a distraught expression on her face. She didn't know what had happened, but standing outside wouldn't help. Casting one last look at the targeting dummy, Followed after Esther, she knew only one place Esther would go, to the room that they now shared for the past few day, but when C.T walked into the room she found it to be empty with only the sound of running water to alert her of Esther's location. This additional info froze C.T in her tracks, if Esther were in the shower, she couldn't just barge in on her, but she really wanted to talk with the girl, she felt she had messed up big somewhere and if she couldn't talk to her C.T didn't know how she was going to apologize. Maybe it was a little early in their relationship, but they had said they loved each other, and that was all the motivation C.T needed to take this chance, so she opened the door, slowly, quietly allowing her training to take over for just a moment as she peeked in side, She was surprised at the lack of clothes on the floor that would signify Esther nudity so C.T slide into the room further. "Esther, I'm coming in." C.T announced herself, stepping into the room fully and closing the door behind herself. It was with a hesitant look toward the shower that C.T noticed Esther, sitting in the tub, fully clothed with Water running over her. It was scary too look at, especially when she didn't know why Esther was in such a state. She wanted to reach out and touch her, to pull the girl into her arms, but she was unsure if that was ok for her to do. C.T used to hate being touched, until she met Esther, but Esther wasn't like her, she was a normal girl, or at least she had been. Human's strive on contact, but still. It was a risk, and C.T had taken so many already. So C.T kept her hands to herself, instead she wrung her hands together in front of her kneeling down besides the tub next to Esther. "Are you ok?" A simple question, one C.T voiced in the most gentle, soothing tone she could manage, she was anxious. She just wanted Esther to feel better, but she just wasn't sure that any form of kindness from her would be accepted.

Esther barely heard C.T. Her face was buried in her knees, both of her arms stretching across her head so her fingers tangled in her now half-soaked hair. She was crying, but C.T. probably wouldn't be able to tell, considering she was sitting under a running shower. When C.T. spoke, her voice so gentle, yet so present that it swept through Esther's fog-like anxiety, Esther finally revealed her face. Meeting C.T.'s gaze, she croaked in a strained whisper, "It would be better for everyone if my dad were dead, wouldn't it." Even Esther didn't know if she was asking or stating.
She had thought that she knew what she wanted, but those mind games her brain had just played on her... It had shaken her more fiercely than anything had. And it didn't make sense to her. "I want him dead, too," she continued. "Or, at least, I did. I told you I did when I first got here, and I had thought that I meant it. And I don't understand how the hell I could--I mean, I hate him, for both what he's done to me and especially for what he's done to you, the woman I love. And what he's done to Mag, to everyone here. I ******** hate him so much that it makes me sick and I want to rip. Him. Apart." Her hands, which had grown somewhat pale from the cold water, rolled into fists and clenched, and ever muscle in her body tensed with them. Then, after a second, they relaxed, and Esther wrapped her arms around her knees. The sobs rippled through her body and her eyes widened, her brain replaying what she had seen. "But when I saw him... C.T., I saw him, in the dummy. I shot him. And I just..."

"It would be better for everyone if my dad were dead, wouldn't it."The immediate answer that came to her mind was 'yes', but that wasn't the most sensitive thing that she could say so she just stayed silent and let Esther talk. She had a feeling that she knew where this was going, it had been part of the reason why she didn't want to teach Esther how to fight, or how to hold and fire a gun, she knew Esther didn't have it in her to kill, and C.T was glad that she didn't have it in her. Esther was pure, and that was a beautiful thing. C.T had just pushed her to hard, trained her in the way she had been trained, even if C.T had made a game of it, offering kisses for success but she was still training Esther to kill and she felt horrible for it, she had confused Esther and listening to the girls words, C.T could see that Esther didn't know what she wanted or what she should do, the girl did want to destroy her father, and it made C.T's heart flutter a bit selfishly when the girl mentioned that she hated him for what he had done to her and Mag, but those feelings couldn't last when Esther said that she had seen her fathers visage in that target dummy. C.T remembered her first kill, how it had shocked her, ruined her mental stability for days to come. Esther hadn't killed anyone but the implications were the same. "Forget about that." C.T said, forgetting her previous caution and reached out to Esther grabbing the girl by the shoulders, her arms getting soaked in water, she pulled the girl into a tight embrace. "It wasn't real, and it wasn't your fault. It's mine. I brought you into my fight, and I'm sorry." C.T apologized, before she had an idea. She had taken 101 risk today, she might as well just go all the way. She pulled herself into the tub under the water as she squeezed into the tub with Esther, pulling the girl closer. Without waiting for Esther's reaction C.T pulled the girl into a kiss. "I love you, just think about that for now, that and the fact that I owe you seven kisses."

Esther didn't blame C.T. for getting her involved in this, especially since Esther had agreed to help C.T.'s cause of her own free will just a few days ago. But she couldn't find the strength to talk about the subject anymore. She wanted to curl up into a small, tight ball and sleep all of this away. The warmth C.T. offered through her embrace proved to be a much more comforting alternative.
Esther's heart skipped a beat when C.T. got into the bathtub with her, fully-clothed and now vulnerable to the downpour. C.T. loved her. That was all Esther wanted to think about; it was likely the only thought that couldn't fail to bring her joy. But it took some time for her mind to quieten and the images to melt away, and once the kiss ended, Esther burrowed herself in C.T.'s arms and, despite her best efforts to hold it in, let go of the rest of her sobs. The feeling persisted, the nagging sensation in her stomach that represented the tension this recently-surfaced conflict had brought. Thankfully, she was able to calm down a few minutes later, and even managed to whisper, "It's nine. The number of kisses you owe me. The total's nine." Which wasn't true--it was actually six, minus the other extra one Esther had gotten away with. But if she was going to swindle her girlfriend for extra kisses, this seemed like as good a time as any.
