Natron growled low in his throat, grip tightening on his kusarigama until his knuckles were white. "No, you're right, killing her would be stupid for a lot more reasons than just pissing off my superiors. And honestly? I'd rather she live to suffer for her mistakes. You, too - but until then I don't mind making it nice and clear to you why you don't ******** with my family." He took a step closer towards the other General, weapon extended. "See, I've had a couple of really nasty personal losses lately, which means at this point? I don't have much, and I get a little bit weird about what I do have." So what if he couldn't kill either of them - not Lellouch because Damocles would never forgive him, not this rose-covered General because to strike down a peer in the Negaverse? Unthinkable. But he could slice them both up a bit, leave them with a few reminders...
Or perhaps not, because suddenly the blade was sinking into his hip, and he swore loudly, slashing out at Buddingtonite desperately in an effort to cause any injury at all. It was a difficult thing to even stay on his feet - if nothing else, that damn boomerang was ******** dangerous.
His head jerked towards the newcomers, and he was about to send them off, until he caught sight of Damocles himself - which was an incredible relief, because at least he was alive, and accompanied by someone else.
"You both need to get out of here," he growled, and this was the one time he would let an Order senshi walk away without trying to kill her. He grabbed for the boomerang because right then if he cut his hand to ribbons he wouldn't care, as long as he kept the thing out of his body and away from Lellouch. "And you, Damocles, need to have a long talk with your sister because she sold you out."

Leto was proof that size didn't matter. The tiny Princess would've strangled the life out of the taller Senshi if Wolframite hadn't stabbed her in the back (literally and figuratively speaking). Her breath was quick and heavy as she tried to collect her thoughts. Her eyes settled on the weapon that the General held in his hands and it suddenly dawned on her who exactly she was fighting.
"You motherfu--" Leto was quickly cut off by a hard kick to the ribs that caused her to cough and roll onto her side to cling to herself. She groaned loudly and closed her eyes again. "I should've known," Leto coughed out and actually started to laugh.
It was loud, throaty and probably really crazy sounding. Using one hand, she tried to push herself up, her hair falling over her face. There was a crazed grin splayed across her face, and she laughed a little more. "I'm gonna come for you, Wolfy-poo. You and your loved ones, your pretty boyfriend in particular. One by one, I will end you all. For Rota, and for Ares."
When he grabbed at her uninjured wing, Leto spat at him and tried to wrench herself away but her hand collapsed under herself and her efforts were futile. With his heel pressed into her back, there came a loud, disgusting snap as he pulled up on the chain wrapped around the wing.
Europa was not going to get a better chance, and she knew it. This close to their goal, she couldn't afford to shy back from blood and brutality - she'd made a promise to Wolframite. You can have her starseed, if I can have her heart. Lacking any way to get through Leto's sternum, she'd settle for her neck. They'd fought so hard and they'd clawed their way to this moment - only a deus ex machina could save Leto now - but the dark mirror's luck had to run out sometime.
Wolframite had kept up his end of the deal magnificently, and Leto made such a pretty package, all beaten and broken like this. Europa had dreamed of this moment, imagined it over and over. She knew exactly what she was going to do. Exactly what she was going to say.
Purposefully, fists tight at her sides, Europa advanced on the princess. She raised her foot and brought it down on Leto's neck, and then slowly, intently, she began to lower her weight. She looked down and stared into the princess's red eyes. Kat's had been brown. Kat was long gone. This was not a funeral. This was revenge and fair play.
Loudly, so she was sure Leto could hear her, Europa declared, "Drown, b***h."

"But... I..." she tried to protest, but Leto was already in battle again, already hurt. Cybele disregarded the advice for a few seconds and watched, frosen. Once again, she realized she was helpless, confused, not even considered a threat. The princess was right, though. This wasn't her court, wasn't her battle, really, wasn't her time to be a hero and die for it.
"I'm sorry."
She spat at the other two, because it was all she could do, and she had to do something. One of them was a White Moon Senshi! The betrayal stung. Leto's pained sounds stung. When she turned and ran from a fight in the first time ever, tears were streaming down her face.
"Please don't die."

Labyrinthite was really, really sick of his targets slipping through his fingers as Canopus dropped back down into the fray with Avior following. He cursed, shifting his body so he cool look over the railing and find the two senshi. "After them," he snarled, eyes flickering over to Zircon for a second before he stepped forward, the balls of his feet hanging over the edge. "We finish what we start," he said.
Then he dropped.
His landing wasn't as graceful as he would have liked, in fact he stumbled and his knees slammed into the ground before he could orient himself. He was reminded, quickly, of how much sawdust in the air sucked. He coughed into his arm as he pushed himself back on his feet, eyes searching the crowd quickly for the red-clad mirror senshi. When he caught sight of her he went straight for her only to have a different mirror senshi intervene and sucker punch him in the face.
He hit the ground, hard, from taking the full force of the punch and anger bubbled up within him and spilled out of every pore on his body. He pulled himself up slowly, rubbing his jaw as he stared down the man who intervened. "Hope you enjoyed that," he snarled, "because it's the last good hit you'll get."
The basic level mirror senshi was way out of his league when it came to fighting against the seasoned captain. While he tried to evade the various swipes of Laby's scythe it was to no avail. His arms and sides were littered open wounds by the time Labyrinthite had even reached him. At that point it only took a hard kick to the man's sternum to ground him.
Leering over the senshi, he reached into the starseed cavity and squeezed hard enough for the man to cry out. "Today was not your day," he sneered, a twisted grin forming on his lips. Then he pulled and watched as the light left the senshi's eyes.
"Zircon! Find the girl, now," he called looking for Canopus again. He hadn't noticed that Avior and Remarque had come together, or that they too were looking for Canopus.

Time to Shine!
Desummoning his weapon, he let the broken wing drop, smile wide upon his features. "What a lovely sound. Didn't know you could sing. Though it's not as nice as her voice was then." When she sang that song just before they killed her. Dioptase. He wondered if he would have done right by her. By them. By those who died. By Tanzanite. By Uranophane. They were all gone now, and Ares’ army still continued under its new head, Leto. Remarque would be his next target, but Leto was his primary concern. He’d chop down as many heads to this hydra as necessary until he was sure that the DMC would become just a rumor among the new recruits on both the side of Order and Chaos.
With Europa pressing her heel down to either break her neck or steal away her last breath, Wolframite moved over to the other side and looked at the Senshi. “Like we agreed.” And then he leaned down, his hand outstretched and still stained by the blood from Leto’s now-useless wings. The hand vanished into the created void of her chest, and he reached down into the very pit of her being. Here was where Leto resided, in her purest (if you could consider it pure) form. His fingertips grazed the starseed, brushing against it in the dark abyss where he could only feel about like a magiciain pulling out a rabbit. But in the dark, he gripped his prize firmly in his hand from its rooted space.
He looked down at Leto’s face, watched her closely. "for them." The General yanked his hand back and pulled out the starseed with one swift motion.
Free from it’s human prison, he opened his palm to star at the seed in his hand. It was warm and felt as if it was humming with energy. Strange as it was, and then he glanced at Europa. “And then she was no more.”
His hand gripped about the seed tightly, and he lifted it up to his hungry mouth, ready to break the shard into fragments and devour what was with one bite.

Leto was pretty sure that there was no worse pain than that of her wing nearly being torn from her back. She was choking back loud, awful sobs in a crumpled mess on the floor. How did she mess up so badly in this fight? Should she have powered up from the get-go? A million and one thoughts raced through her mind. She tried to convince herself to get up. To keep fighting.
She needed to save them, she needed to get them out.
When Europa's foot pressed onto her neck, Leto reached out and clung to the Senshi's ankle. She stared up at her and gurgled, the pace of her breathing increased. The room was staring to spin around her. Her legs thrashed as she tried desperately to gasp for air to no avail.
Then Wolframite was upon her and she felt his hand slide easily into her chest. Her eyes widened and her mouth gaped with a startled, painful noise. She felt his disgusting fingertips caressing her very being and then suddenly, with two words "For them", Leto felt her soul being ripped from her.
The light in her bright red eyes faded away and her hand went limp from Europa's ankle as Wolframite lifted her precious starseed to his mouth.

Persephone had become a bit...distracted, a dangerous thing in the middle of battle. With Galvatronite's blood on her shoes and her dress, it was sinking in very quickly that she had done something wrong - something very dangerous, if she were ever found out. She moved away from the Lieutenant's body, and was dragged forcibly back to reality by Leto's pained screams. Her head jerked towards where the Princess was being smacked about by a General and an Eternal.
And then the General pulled Leto's starseed, and her heart dropped. No, that could not be happening, the Princess of the Dark Mirror was not going to die here - not Leto, who had woken her up to the realities of the war in perhaps the only way she could be, who had been kind to her when they met again, who she had promised to take to her planet - even if she couldn't fulfill that promise now.
It wasn't even a completed thought, really - she never considered the foolishness of going up against two people who had tag-teamed to take down a Princess. Her only thought was that this was not allowable. She teleported into the middle of the fray and physically slammed her body into the mysterious WP. Small she might be, but she had the strength of an Eternal and a whole lot of anger right then.
Why was he being hailed! Why was there even any attention to him! He didn't matter, he was insignificant! He was fine, the blood on his uniform didn't matter, the color draining from his cheeks, and his short, shallow breaths didn't either. He was so very close to the exit, then his prince, his PRINCE come to question him, and Avior froze on the spot. His words didn't register as concern, no, instead they were heard of as spite.
Why are you leaving, why aren't you fighting? It drilled into his head, prying further open the gates that held back his already overwhelming sea of self disappointment and shame. But that didn't matter either, no, because his prince was there, and that meant Canopus was safe! Remarque could save her, push her through a mirror where she could be safe, and no one would hurt her! He turned to face him, almost feeling himself smiling, clutching at his stomach, until he saw no one.
"Where is she..? WHERE'S CANOPUS?!" His head twisted and turned every which way, trying to find his friend in the chaos that was surrounding them. Where the hell was she?! He was certain that she was right there, right with him! Did she miss the wall? Was she..? Did she hit the ground..?
"No.. No no no NO, We have to find her! Canopus! She's wearing red! And a Braid, please, help me find her!" The severity of his injury was forgotten as he desperately attempted to return to the fray, giving pleading glances to both the unknown Knight, and his prince. It didn't matter if they scorned him, if they looked down on him because he had wanted to escape, What mattered was that poor, sweet Dark Mirror Senshi who could be hurt, who could be DEAD. When did his legs become so heavy, and when did the world get so blurry..?

Tsui couldn't help but give her friend a sour look, and, never the type to not speak her mind, Tsui allowed her anger and confusion to fuel her words, even when she knew it wouldn't have helped the situation, or made anything better between them. "Okay, well... good. Glad that you're not here for blood... because you're better than that, right? At least last I checked you didn't get some sick enjoyment out of beating down opponents that you know aren't a match for you."
Kallichore seemed willing to pull out and Tsui trusted her that she hadn't harmed anyone yet. The same could not be said for other members of the Jovian court, but Tsui was trying not too look at that. Part of her knew she should have jumped in to help and she hoped that Ida and Athene were fairing far better than she was during all of this. She might not have agreed with Kallichore on this instance, but she wasn't going to let her friend get hurt and Tsui gave her a confident nod, curling her fists and ready to deck people in the face if they even tried. The ping from her cellphone alerted her that her fellow PSSG members had the same idea, so with little shame to her name, the Tiger senshi was ready to leave.
That was, until Kallichore whispered over to her, and she couldn't help but scoff. She didn't mean to sound belittling and she knew that she wasn't as knowledgeable about the DMC as Kallichore or others were, but she still felt pretty confident about her words. "They tried, and they failed miserably. Showing sympathy for them in a slaughter isn't the same as wanting to be like them... sort of like working with the Negaverse for one night doesn't make you one of them, right?"
She spotted a peculiar sight on their way out--- a Dark Mirror Senshi in red and yellow, with a braid over one shoulder. She didn't look hurt or wounded, but she was curled into a ball on the floor, arms over her head and trying to appear small and unseen. She was crying, hardly productive in an ambush, and easy picking for any wondering officer... or senshi or knight.
"Besides, where's the honor in taking down a helpless opponent?" Tsui said to Kallichore, as she walked over to the crying senshi and moved to help her up. She hoped that she didn't frighten her and thus cause her to strike out against her, but the Tiger senshi was confident that she'd be able to block or dodge whatever this one had in her arsenal. "Come on... I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just going to throw you over my shoulder and carry you out."
Lucifer Horse
Don't mind me, carrying this weeping mess of a DMC outta here like a boss.
Canopus was ashamed to admit that she missed the final wall that Avior constructed and though she wasn't sure who or what broke her fall, the moment she found a spot on the floor, the Longevity senshi simply curled herself into the smallest, tightest ball she could muster and laid on the ground. She wasn't sure when she started crying- it wasn't tears of pain and she was far too terrified to feel any injuries from the fall. But once she started crying, she couldn't stop, even when she closed her eyes and pressed her face against her knees.
She could hear Labyrinthite shouting to Zircon and knew they were looking for her. They were going to kill her, and because of that, she kept hidden. They hadn't seen her fall into the crowd and perhaps some of the sawdust kept her hidden, even when all she could do was remain in her ball and cry. Don't move. Don't move. If she moved, they'd see her. Then all of Avior's hard work would be for nothing.
Remarque, her Prince, was looking for her, but she was too afraid to move. What if he saw her? What if he descended down to get her and it was all a trap? She could hear what was happening nearby, between her Princess Leto and her assailants and despite this, Canopus simply couldn't move. They were going to kill them all, and she was helpless to do anything but laid on the floor and cry.
Avior was screaming for her, but still, she could not move. She would not move. If he tried looking for her, he'd be a target to those two monsters and he would be killed for sure. Better to lay still and let him think she escaped, or perhaps had died. She started weeping again, this time not for herself and the fear pulsing through her, but for Avior. Her dear friend... she failed him. He protected her, and she failed him.
Someone was talking to her, but she dared not move. She didn't see the Tiger senshi that approached her and didn't respond when she felt her arms grab her. Not a scream, not a cry. Maybe if she laid limp, she'd think she was dead and would leave her be?

"Family? ******** with your family? Well... honestly, how was I suppose to know that Blondie was related to you? Not like you wear matching shirts or anything... you certainly don't look alike either, though really, if good looks runs in the family, then I'd gladly ******** them." Natron's understandable anger was directed fully at him now and while he definitely played the part of the menacing brute, Buddingtonite was happy to have his attention for the moment. The more time he spent yelling at the masked general, the longer Lellouch had to sneak up behind him and get a good shot in. Dirty tactic and one that he'd much rather see used against their White Moon enemy, but still, one that the rose-clad general had no moral dilemma deploying against his own if need be. Not that he hated Natron or anything- he was simply curious to see if Lellouch would actually do it, and his curiosity was sated... though ultimately short-lived.
Two things happened that he wasn't anticipating. With Lellouch's attack, he was expecting Natron to be more surprised and the attack were to throw off his aim if he tried to lash out at him, and maybe it would have shot off without harming Buddingtonite, but then a senshi literally seemed to appear out of no where, knocking Buddingtonite right into the kusarigama's path. The blade dug into his side deep, and it was their combined effort that sent the general sprawling to the ground with a pained yelp.
The moment he had a chance, he pulled his gloved hand away from his side, confirming what he pretty much suspected, and he cast a look to the one that threw him in harm's way. Had she known she did it? Or was this all some sick accident? He found himself laughing, despite the blood that now began to pool at his side and soak his disguise. "What? Leaving... so soon? How incredibly RUDE!"
He took in her features, finding an exotic beauty in her that he found absolutely... enthralling. The only problem with this one (besides causing him bodily harm and then trying to bail out on him) is that there was far too much white on her outfit for his tastes, and despite the possible life threatening injury that she helped caused, he had every intention to reach into her chest and force as much chaos into it as he could manage. Yes, he liked this one...
However, she had not arrived alone, and the sight of his former hostage, as well as the brewing catastrophe going on between Natron and Lellouch, Buddingtonite felt that he had simply had enough. He moved towards Turquoise without haste, looking to wrap an arm around her and teleport, once the room stopped spinning. "Ohhhhh, you know, this is getting quite awkward, so I'll leave the three of you alone to settle this... uh... family crisis."
Yes, if he could just grab onto Turquoise and make his exit, that'd be just lovely. He had more than enough fun for one evening...

He looked to Valhalla, confused until it registered that it was Valhalla. And, Valhalla was not an enemy. He meant to reply to the male—to even go so far as to ask him for help.
But Avior was acting strangely, and he knit his brows at the knight and then returned his eyes hastily to the Eternal Dark Mirror Senshi next to him. But he couldn’t just worry about Avior because he heard that scream—Leto's blood-curdling scream.
And he had no ******** idea where she was or what was going on, but Avior was in front of him and Avior would be okay. Assuming he didn't bleed out all over the place.
Remarque moved hastily to support the senshi, wrapping an arm around him carefully both to ensure he stayed on his feet—and didn't run off and get himself hurt any worse. "Avior," he said sternly, but he couldn’t even tell if Avior could hear him. "Calm down, we're leaving. You need to get out of here, you're hurt."
He wasn't looking at Avior, but rapidly scanning the crowd, trying to figure out where the rest of the Dark Mirror Senshi are.
He saw a familiar colored lump above several heads in the crowd—Canopus—and he froze when he saw Tsui carrying her.
Remarque had not seen the Senshi of Tigers in quite some time, but he strongly recalled their last meeting, and how Tsui had slipped through his fingers.
She could have been one of them.
She should have been.
But there she was, as White Moon as ever, hauling a Dark Mirror Senshi over her shoulder.
Remarque looked to Valhalla hastily, and then back to Tsui, hoping that her intents were not as malicious as what he had already seen in this ambush. He wanted to move to help Canopus, though he couldn’t leave Avior like this. "I don't know," he finally blurted to Valhalla. "If you can find any Dark Mirror Senshi, get them out. I don't care how, drag them out if you have to. They shouldn't be here for this."
His attention returned to Avior. "Canopus is fine," he insisted, though at this point he didn't know if it was a lie. He saw her body, but it wasn't moving. For all he knew, she was dead, but now did not seem like the time for that.
There was an almost frenzied look in Remarque's eyes; there was too much going on at once. He didn't want to leave, not while anyone might need him, but Avior needed a doctor.
Now would have been a great time to have a friend in the Negaverse who wanted to run people to the hospital.
If only the thought of friends in this Negaverse didn't make his stomach flip.

"Given that we're on opposing sides, I don't think you're supposed to consider me fun" Athene pointed out to the corrupt senshi, a startled look flickering across his face as she mentioned the Negaverse-Dark Mirror alliance being off, followed by open confusion as she followed up by mentioning that she could be mistaken - the whole thing making even less sense to him.
He frowned slightly at her question, "I can't really speak for the others" he admitted - after all he truly had no idea why some of the order signatures appeared to be working together with the Negaverse signatures to attack the dark mirror senshi in the warehouse. "But you don't particularly have to like a group to know when something isn't right" he waved a hand around, the movement more the encompass the chaos happening around then to point out anything or one in particular. "And this - it isn't right."
And then something else that the corrupt had mentioned earlier finally sank in, and for a moment there was a trace of red on his cheeks. Had she just called him cute?
Then the moment broken as a scream rang out over the noise of the fighting, the sound sending a chill down his spine before it was suddenly cut off. God, it sounded like someone was being slaughtered up there.
Nobody deserves to die like this. The thought was one of absolute certainty. No one.
There was a resolute look in his eyes and although there was probably nothing he could do for the source of the scream, there were others in here - others he could help. He looked up at the white haired corrupt - even if it meant that he had to trap this one in some beads to stop her from 'following orders' - or at least try to and hope that his magic would actually co-operate.
[Mistress Morbid]
sorry for the double quote - managed to miss some bits off the tag when I initially posted it
The oppressive wave of chaotic energy somehow increased in the span of a heart beat, layering with that energy already present from Leto and Remarque, one more chaotic Royal appearing in the fray.
He tossed Europa like she was a rag doll, a good long throw born of surprise as much as anything else since the senshi had been so intent on the throat of the fallen Dark Princess.
He moved to grab Wolframite’s wrist with an unforgiving grip that would at the kindest of times have left a bruise down to the very bone. If the young General had meant to shatter the star seed, it was clear that the same would be done to his wrist… for a start.
ENOUGH!
He said, loud, clear, commanding, cold.
And again, more personal, leaning slightly towards his one time team mate. “Enough.” He said again, and perhaps it should have been more passionate, more fueled with the same angry fires that led Wolframite down this wicked path for a second time.
He pried the star seed from Wolfram’s grasp like you’d take a toy from a child, moving it quickly into the hands of Persephone who had lunged so passionately to defend the Dark Mirror Princess. “Return this…quickly, carefully.” He instructed. Guard her, I will be there shortly.”
There was a sort of terrible calm in his voice, as though it were the eye of a tornado, a space swept clear of emotion to grant it an ominous ‘peace’ and a cold practical fervor.
“Too far Wolframite. You have gone too far.” And as though to prove that the name he spoke was true, he used his free hand to strip the mask from the General's face and shook his head in a quiet display of… was it disgust, or disappointment in those too pale blue eyes?
He would not release the General’s arm till the star seed was safely back in place. Likely he’d have turned him into a weapon of sorts if anyone dared to approach. He grabbed the young man’s chin and made him look towards the assembled senshi and bastions of ‘order’.
“How far you all have fallen, to make SUCH strange company.”

Wolfy wants his treat back. :C
Just as he was about to bite, he felt the force of another body slam into him, which made him stumble, but not loose his grip. The starseed was his most prized possession at the very moment, and even if his arm was severed, he wouldn’t drop it. “She’s already mine!” He shouted, and went to kick the nuisance away.
Just as he went for another motion to bite the starseed before the annoyance that was Persephone came again, there was a rush of energy that appeared out of nowhere. He almost expected to hear a sonic boom at the quickness of how it arrived – no…teleported. Before the dread could hit his stomach like a dropped bolder at the familiar energy signature directly behind him, his arm was grabbed in a vice grip that made it feel as if his bones would shatter and splinter. Knees buckling under the pain, his other hand went to hold the arm holding his, turning to look at the man he called General-King.
He had been hoping that with his precautions, Zinkenite would not be alerted till everyone was already done and past – far from his scope of interfering, but it seemed with the battle and the growing swarm, the cats must have been overwhelmed. Or maybe Zinkenite had GK powers that could sense more easily. What mattered was he was here, and his hand was holding the wrist of the one thing Wolframite had worked hard to acquire.
His bloddied hand, stained from pulling apart Leto’s wings, tried to pry desperately at Zinkenite’s grip, teeth gritted as he looked at his form teammate. A man he once heard called Riker by Lina, when him and Zink were both new to the game and under the same leader. Side by side.
Things had changed now.
His fingers deserpately held to the starseed, but with enough pressure that almost crippled his hand to no longer be useable, they loosened and the General-King tore the prize from his grasp.
With wide eyes, Wolframite watched as the starseed was taken and passed on to the annoyance that had delayed the bite in the first place.
“No.” He whispered, disbelief and anguish pulling his features.
Please no.
His chin was taken, forced in the direction of those he had assembled for his cause. He had betrayed his loyalty to the negaverse, but he already had known that. Years in the service he traded for this one moment, and now it was gone.
I can’t let them have it.
“I won’t let you have her!” He shouted, and summoned his weapon with his one free hand, whipping it in Zink’s direction to be freed. He wouldn’t let them bring her back from Hell. Demons like her didn’t deserve second chances.

The hand clutching his arm squeezed harder in that moment, a twitch of a gesture that might have been deliberate, or it might have been in reaction to the weapon that was now swinging towards him. He’d trained with wolf for ages after he had lost his eye… That was why he took the risk rather than chose another course of action, sweeping his arm you, the movement dragging Wolframite with him because he would not let go… not yet.
And catching the chain with his arm, letting the momentum of the blade wrap a portion of it in a dervish around his forearm. It cost him a cut to the cheek where he was not fast enough to move his head back, but it was hard to say how bad or deep it was because there was blood, and divided fabric in the way.
He yanked the General forward so they were nearly nose to nose for a moment.
“What…happened to you Wolframite… once you might have been hurt, and angry but now… now you are just Mad. Would you tear down everything WE stand for because you want a spiteful mob? Better that you had JOINED the side of order than lay this at OUR feet. At HER feet…”
it was surprisingly clear that he did not mean Leto with that ‘Her’, they knew who she meant, Wolfram had been punished once already by HER.
“Come back to us Wolframite… temper your mad fury, and be thankful that I am NOT Charonite, or you’d already be –Dead.”
He was almost kind in that moment before the ‘General King’ of him returned and that cold swept back into place, washing away that brief touch of humanity that had appeared like a flaw.
“I like my hands kept clean… but there will be repercussions for your choices, its time you children learned that.” Those words, to all assembled.
