It looked like there was no other way about it so SugarPuss gingerly began to weave her way through the mushrooms after grabbing a piece that made her about as thin as a sheet of paper.

It was getting quite difficult to walk like this so she helped herself to yet another piece but this one made her a little too tall.

Munching on another piece, this time round she was just about the right size breadth-wise but she needed just a little more to be of the right height to clear the last stretch.

Plucking a piece of mushroom and popping it into her mouth, she almost squealed in delight when it got her to exactly the right proportion she needed to clear the mushroom patch and she happily helped herself to the rewards that awaited her at the end.

Not too far from the croquet mound seemed to be an extension of the Queen's garden. It was beautiful in its eerie sense of design; hedges and thorny vines, he was sensing a theme here. He continued on here, eventually making it to the spongy ground beneath his feat and past the cloves until he was in the clearing of mushrooms.
There had been another quest involving mushrooms, he recalled. But he had to guess this wasn't going to be the same type of thing. Especially with that sign. Green smirked at it, almost scoffed and then turned his attentions to the little Horsefly (ho s**t, they could talk?) So, navigate through the mushrooms. Didn't seem too terribly bad. He'd give it a shot, why not.
He stepped forward and took a small bit out of one and another. But apparently that wasn't going to do.

He kept going though, plucking off a few more mushrooms bit to eat and try to get through. One aspect of his methods seemed to be getting closer to the goal in mind but he seemed much too large in another. Had to keep going.
