Blinking as the creature took a swing at her, okay that wasn't so bad was it.

She mumbled, but running was still running. Getting a fair distance away DarklingFox started to slow down. It was actually easy to slow down because something behind her was calling to her. There was this pull, she hadn't yet turned to look but then she heard it, even with the small ears. Her head snapped up,
"Lumi...Come on I want to see you...Please I've missed you..."
Ju...Julian? No it couldn't be he wasn't playing the game...but but what if he was just there waiting for her and she was so busy...turning quickly she screamed seeing the rows of teeth.

Partridge was forming a strong dislike for the forest. A massive dislike for it, really. That little things were running away from the loud noises in the forest wasn't... y'know. Super surprising. Anything was possible after all.
That the large beast that came out of the forest, snapping and hacking and snapping at him.... well that was a bit more of a surprise. Though he was quickly alerted he only had so much life left, he was trying to get away. Really he was! But the stupid beast caught him again, catching his arm and making Partridge yelp before stumbling away from the maw. Then running. Oh did he run. He liked his outfit and his body. He didn't need either getting poked full of holes, thanks.

Blue-rimmed glasses sit at the end of his nose, the same pale blue as his eyes. A Mad Hatter to the end, his trademark coat and hat are both a dark blue. Underneath can be seen a tight white shirt, loose black pants, and crisscrossing brown belts.
Eventually, the beast is far out of sight, and it seems that B0ss has managed to get out of the woods. Well, the worst of the woods at least. He lets out a grateful sigh, but knows he has to keep moving. He can't afford to relax in such an odd place. He can't let his own dream defeat him.

F3V3RDR3AM was still running, after picking herself up. She seemed like she'd outrun it, or at least she didn't feel it lashing at her heels any more.
She heard the sound of footsteps. She heard, furthermore, the sound of bells. And lastly, she heard the voice of the only person left alive that she still trusted with her whole heart: her own.
Don't you want to team up? You and me, we won't need anyone else.
"There can't be two of me. I am the only one. I am the only one like me," she said, between breaths, trying to continue running even though it felt like she should turn and see herself. Her own self.
Of course there can be. Here, there can be anything we want. Let's be together. So that we never have to be alone again. How could it know that, if it wasn't her? She thought back to her time touching the lake's surface, how it knew her memories, how it nearly touched ones even she had forgotten. Pieces of her mind cut free and severed from the rest.
Pieces of her locked away. She kept running, and knew that if it was truly her own self, she'd find a way to get back to it. It wasn't. Seconds from turning, seconds from finding out the hard way that it was just a trap, and she was safe.

Then came the noises the noises. Screams and shouts. He heard one in particular, a tiny cat's yowl.
"Voodoo?" he turned, swiveling on his feet to identify the source, and into the jabberwock's maw he went.

The big beast, or the Jabberwocky as the little digital card called it, was pursuing once more. It snapped and bit and nipped and eventually got a nick on SANDSHARK's shoulder, but he continued to run. Run little man.

Feeling herself slowing down, she winced, wasn't this where she heard the voice last time...the voice that lead her to running again. She couldn't do that again, there wasn't a reason for her to slow down this time, but she couldn't help it.

The voices were a surprise. The thundering footsteps? Not really, but they kept his arse moving. The voices though.... they were right out of the memories that played in the lake. He swore he heard someone calling his name. Right at his shoulder. He just meant to glance. Take a peek.

Millie had managed to make it out of the forest somehow. She slowed down but didn't stop running until she was well out of the forest.
