Lynora watched the two disappear in secret, she still felt bad for everything but it looked like Cedany wasn't going to forgive her anytime soon. She placed a hand on Sreda's shoulder and tried to smile, but it was obviously forced. "Can you show me to my room please? And find me some night clothes to wear?" She asked softly, trying not to scream in anger or cry in sadness.

Sreda led Lynora to her room, though she could see how disheartened she was. "Don't be so down, Miss Lynora. Cedany is always like that when it comes to Carac," she told her. "One time, Carac broke his arm trying to retrieve something for me, and Cedany refused to have anything to do with me for half a year!"

Lynora was glad for the comforting words but it seemed a little silly to be angry over something so small. "Didn't it make you mad that she ignored you for so long? I know I would be." she said softly. "Anyways, it is kind of my fault Carac was caught. I don't blame her for being angry."

"I was upset for a time. I didn't think she'd ever forgive me, but I understand her anger. I didn't really give Carac much of a choice. I mean, I did bully him for a time, Sreda admitted with a rather nostalgic smile. "What did you do that go him put in the dungeon? You don't seem like the kind of person to denounce a warlock."

"Well I didn't get him locked up on purpose. When I first got here they were the first people I saw. They helped me out a little. I should have listened to them when they said not to go wandering outside. I was right outside their home when the prince found me, I think one of his men barged into their home and arrested Carac." she said softly, even though she didn't mean to get Carac in trouble, she still felt responsible. Lynora gave a soft sigh as they got back to her room. She sat on the bed and waited for Sreda to find her some night clothes.

Sreda momentarily left Lynora in the room in order to find some suitable night clothes. She had gone all the way to the servant's quarters, since she wasn't allowed to get anything from anywhere else, and picked out some clothes that she thought would be Lynora's size. With that, she returned to the room. "Would this do?"

Lynora turned to see the clothing she was being offered, at least it didn't look like they were made out of that potato sack material like the robe Carac offered her. "That will work." she said softly, trying not to cry about everything that happened and how angry Cedany was.

"I'll be outside if you need me," Sreda said, leaving the room so Lynora could change. She wondered if Cedany had managed to leave yet. By now, the guards must have found out about Carac's escape. Her assumptions were confirmed when she saw many guards running in a certain direction. If only she knew what they were saying.

Lynora slid into the night clothes, glad it didn't feel as itchy as the robe the twins gave her. Once she was clothed Lynora opened the door and gave Sreda a small smile. "Do you think...you could stay with me for tonight?" She asked softly, knowing how this must sound but hoping Sreda would understand.

Sreda would have refused, but it would be nice to be away from the servant's quarters for now. Besides that, Lynora must be lonely, as this was her first night here. "If you wish," she said as she entered the room. "Would you like for me to sleep on the bed with you? If not, I can gather some blankets to bundle on the floor."

She thought it would be rude to have the young girl sleeping on the floor, even if she was used to it. "I wouldn't mind if you sleep in the bed with me." she said in a shy voice, hoping nobody else would come in during the night and see them. She didn't know if anyone would get the wrong idea.

Sreda had no qualms about it, so she slipped under the sheets. Of course, she left plenty of room for Lynora. "Don't let Carac know. He might get jealous," she jested with a smile. Perhaps it was rude of her to be the one to get into bed first, but she was tired and wasn't thinking straight.

Lynora gave a small laugh at the joke and wondered for a minute if her and Carac were in a relationship. Not that Lynora minded either way, it was nice to see such a positive event right now. She climbed into bed after Sreda and surprisingly fell asleep rather quickly.

Morning soon came and Sreda got up early to prepare some clothing for Lynora to wear for the day. She briefly took a look outside the room and saw the other servants chattering amongst themselves. Their lips were moving quickly as in panic, but she was sure they were talking about the escaped warlock. She hoped they didn't start blaming her for Carac's escape. Nowadays, anyone accused of being affiliated with a witch, even if actually innocent, would be burned at stake.

Lynora was awakened to the sounds of people running about in the hallway. She wasn't sure what was going on but as soon as she heard the word warlock Lynora knew she either needed to hide or leave the castle. Lynora was terrible at lying to people, she had no poker face and it often got her into trouble only this time she might just be in over her head. She placed her hand on Sreda's shoulder and gave her a worried expression. "What am I going to do?? The Prince is going to start questioning me again and I can't lie very well!"
