Matt stared silently at Jynx when she made her reply, it was rather obvious that she was lying. He couldn't help but have deja vu for this situation as something rather similar to this had happened to him about a year and a half ago in one of the previous worlds he had gone to, but the way that ended was he was almost married to that girl who happened to be some crazy princess of the country. Just remembering the crazed look on her face when she suddenly decided that they would get married was already giving him a headache as he looked at Jynx, not letting any of his thoughts show up on his face. "I.. see.. But, I'm not in a rush to buy my things though, so I'm fine with chit chatting. So, please tell me if there is something wrong, maybe I can cheer you up at least a little bit." He replied with a light smile as he put his other hand into his pocket. He was going to have to tread carefully so that what had happened at that time wouldn't happen this time.

"So... what shall I do with this?" Matt muttered to himself as he looked at a small marble that was in his hand as he sat on a bench in the park. This was something that was in that fake charm that miss Lurk Sprywalker had on her when he took it. Sighing a bit he put it away into his bag and looked at the charm around his neck, this was the real charm, he had come upon this while trying to find information in Kat's apartment, so he decided to hold onto it for the time being. Shrugging a bit, the boy just let it hang once again as he leaned back on the bench, letting his face fall into his perfected cheerful facade as he hummed a bit looking at the sky. This was only because there were some people walking through the park or playing, so he didn't want to let his true thoughts out at the moment, but he let his mind wander on deciding whether to leave this version of earth now or not, for now it might be better not to since there was still a lot of information he could get.

Matt continued to look into the sky for another moment longer before looking around at his surroundings again. It was then he saw an auburn haired girl staring at a couple flirting. Seeing the couple, he could only shake his head a bit as he had no interest in love or romance, didn't care if he had a friend, heck, he didn't care when the whole world turned on him in one of the previous earths. Although, that ended poorly for that earth, as the planet ended up destroyed. He looked back at the auburn haired girl as she seemed to be envious, recognizing this person. She was also a person who was in a few of the previous earths he had visited, though it was weird, at times she was human and others she was a succubus, but he didn't really care enough to delve into it. Shrugging lightly, he turned his head away to look over at the nearby fountain.

Matt could feel a stare on him and looked over and saw Maggie looking over at him with a smile. She had a strange perverted looking smile on her face, or at least that was the view the boy had of her smile. But, his cheerful seeming facade never fell from his face as he waved in greeting at her before leaning back on the bench and put his right leg over his left as he started to whistle while looking at the fountain. He started to think about what other things he still had to do in this world before he moved on to the next one, thinking it might be a good change of pace to maybe check to see if there was anything that happened ten years ago.

Matt really wanted to complain right now when Maggie came over to him and spoke, though there was this strange, yet disgusting comfort and realized it came from the girl. With a light smile, he nodded a bit, "Sure, I don't mind, and I'm not surprised you've never met me before, I am rather new in town." He replied honestly with a kind smile. Even with that disgusting forced comfort feeling, he was calmly keeping up his cheerful facade as he spoke to her. "I just transfered into the nearby high school because of a suggestion of my family." He added as he scooted over on the bench so that she could sit. He decided to bear with the feeling so that maybe he could gather more information he may need.

"Well, it's school, what's there to like? It's as boring as every other school." Matt replied honestly with a light chuckle. For him, it wasn't that he didn't like school, he just hated interacting with people. But for him, he just hates everyone, though there are those he hates less than others. He did enjoy actually learning new things, but that was just his thoughts. "But, I do enjoy living in this town, it's quite nice." He stated with a smile as he looked over at her. "What about you?" He asked her curiously.

"Well there are a lot of dangerous places in the world." Matt agreed with a nod. He could easily agree with that as he had enough scars on his body to prove it. He blinked a bit as she asked what his name was, "Ah, my name is Matthew, and yourself?" He asked her curiously as he looked over at her. He was slowly getting used to the disgusting comfort feeling he had and slowly learned to suppress that feeling so he could feel a fair bit normal now. "Also, why did you come over to talk to me, I don't think I'm that interesting." He added curiously as he tilted his head and it was something that honestly made him curious.
