"Uhh sure...I guess I can help, but I'm not that good with mine either..." Bukotsu said stopping and turning his attention towards Shiraku. He seemed like being slightly helpful today.

"I practice in Rokugai Forest...if you want, I'm usually there everday after classes," Bukotsu said as he headed off in the direction of the dorms.

Shiraku nodded. Then watched Bukotsu leave off toward the dorms. Shiraku looked back at the classroom seeing how dirty it was. He turned away and then walked from the class. He didnt know where he was headed, but he thought that he would try and go to Rokugai Forest, to see if he could get there before Bukotsu.

Slowly, cautiously, a new student enters. Wearing the usual garb of a new student he takes care to look around before actually making his presence known. Not that he is hiding in a shadow, but neither is he making a point to draw attention. Without a whole lot of thought Charles realizes that this is the end of the class.

Looking down at the transfer papers in his hand, he sighs softly. "Already behind and I haven't even had one class yet." Taking a deep breath, he steadies himself. After a long moment of gathering his courage, he walks in and approaches the only person that seems to be in charge.

"Pardon me, sir? I don't mean to be a bother . . . but it seems you have a new student in the academy." Bowing deeply, he extends his hand to offer his papers. Now let's just hope I got the right person! flashes through his mind as he stays in the bow, waiting for his papers to be taken.

Hideki looked to the student. He was tired and a new student meant annother going over of the days lesson. He sighed, he knew how it could be so he didnt blame the student. "Hi, young shinigami in training. I believe your hear for my class? Unfortunetly its already over. Though I have time I guess I could redo the lesson for you. See it as a favor!"

Hideki stepped back from the student, getting ready to use his reiatsu to teach him.

Slowly rising, Charles realizes that not only did he find the right person- but he was also right in that the lesson just ended. A shy smile on his face, he holds out his hands in polite refusal to the offer.

"I wouldn't dream of asking that of you, sir! Perhaps there is just a few exercises or bits I could read to catch up a bit? It is unfair to push this on you at the last moment, and exect you to teach the whole lesson a second time with no break."

Trying to be prepared for anything, however, he watches the instructor's stance cautiously. Completely forign are the ideas of using reiatsu in a offensive way. Back in the human world, he used his 'energy' to relax and center himself, even going as far as to manipulate how it was circled around his body. No idea had ever come to him of actually casting anything using that energy. As such, he merely can watch and try to mimic the physical moves later.

Hideki looked at the student, with a small smile. "Its ok, I'll go over it again for you. But I'll just give you the list of all the spells that I taught today and I'll show them to you, I'll also teach you how to use your reiatsu as a weapon."

Hideki began to force the reiatsu into his hands without letting the student know. He forced it through his body to his hand, at his hand the reiatsu began to flair up and out of his hand, like a bright grow or like the sun spots.

With a broad smile, Charles nods enthusiastically. Despite his protests, he had hoped that the sensei would still teach at least something. Rather than keep talking, he intently and blatantly stares hard at his instructor. Without really thinking about it, he matches the stance and begins to alter his aura. While he has never used reiatsu . . . he is familiar with it's ebb and flow in his body.

Where Hideki's reiatsu is strong and ready, Charles' hands merely have a faint glow. Limned with a light silver light, his hands echo Hideki's moves. Not enough to actually complete the move- but enought to be obvious what he is up to. The only other thing that is obvious, is that his eyes start to fade into the same silver hue. Rather than being his normal dull grey, they seem as though behind cattaracts- still there, but dimmer through a silver sheen.

Oblivious to all this, Charles focuses all his mind on the task at hand- memorizing as much as he can. Within the depths of his mind, another personality watches and waits, it's hands also mimicing the movements despite not having a physical form.

"With the incantation and your reiatsu harnessed you can do the type of spell." Hideki held his hand out toward the walk. "Way of Destruction Number Four: White Thunder Byakurai" With the calling of the spell a White strike of lightning flew from his hand and hit the wall, leaving a scorch mark in it.

"First Spell. Now on to the second. Ye Lord, Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man, Inferno and pandemonium, The sea barrier surges, March on to the south! Way of Destruction Number Thirty-One: Amber Cannon Shakkahou" With the ending of this spell a Ball of Red energy formed at his hand and flew from it hitting the same spot the lightning did.

"Now the next. Lord, Mask of flesh and bone, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man, Truth and temperance, Upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws! Way of Destruction Number Thirty-Three: Descent of the Blue Flame Soukatsui" When thi spell had ended a spew of flames flew from his hands burning everything in its way and the full wall.

"The next are binding spells but first I'll write these down." Hideki moved quickly finding paper, and a ink quill, then he wrote out all the words to each spell. Once he was done with this he walked back over to Charles.

At first, Charles is struck in awe at the power of Hideki's first spell. Sure, a few daydreams of being a superhero happened in his life, but Charles never imagined that he might be able to do anyting close to that. Ever. Still, this is not the time for idol worship. At least so says the familiar voice in the corners of his mind.

What focus he has, however, ebbs into nothing as he listens to the long-winded chant for Ways of Destruction thirty one and thirty three. Both are so long that he even loses track of the entire chant. With a shy smile and a shade of crimson appearing on his cheeks, he can only watch in unmitigated awe. With the loss of his focus, the silver glow that even Charles was not aware of fades back into nothingness.

Before he managed to find his voice, Charles realized that his instructor had finished with the 'assignment'. With a soft voice and blatant embarassment he asks quietly "Ummm . . . could you write down those destruction ways too . . . you lost me halfway through the second one. Sorry!"

Yeah, that is bound to earn brownie points! runs through Charles' head in sardonic beratement.

Hideki handed the Piece of paper to Charles. "All of those are the incantations for all the spells that I just showed you. Also on that paper under the destruction incantations are the incantations for the Binding spells I'm about to show you." Hideki took a few steps further from Charles. "These are spells that bind your opponent."

Hideki held his hand up toward Charles, "it will seal your movements with the users reiatsu, this is the weakest of the binding spells. Way of Binding Number One: The Covering (Sai)" As he said this he moved his reiatsu out and covered Charles with it. Then as he said Sai that locked him into a fixed position.

Immensely glad that all is written down for him, Charles relaxes visably. Binding and destruction incantations- this is going to be a busy night of homework. Still, it is better than scraping by in a shanty outside the walls of this academy. Not that life was unbearable here in the next world, but neither was it easy. Back to the matter at hand.

Renewing his attention, Charles watches his instructor go into the next set of movements. While watching, the voice in the back of his head suddenly realizes just what will come of this. The student merely held still as a wave of energy falls over him. As said binding comes to fruition and Charles becomes immobilized the silver comes back to his eyes. Unbeknownst to the student, energy begins to swell in him.

In the shadows behind him, an echo . . . a shadow of something begins to manifest. Just as several silver strands begin to flow and weave into that shadow's framework, Charles' eyes widen in realization. With all his might, he shuts his eyes and mentally screams for his friend to subdue. An arguement ensues of a creature accustomed to binding it's prey- never being bound. The very thought is abhorrent and unacceptable to the spider . . . but after several moments the strands dissappate and the silver hue again leaves Charles' eyes.

With a heavy sigh, the student realizes that this is not something that can be dismissed so easily. Unfortunately, without more experience, all he can say is a sheepish "Gomennasai . . . " Still held fast by the binding, he offers no resistance to his teacher, hoping that difficult questions are not asked- yet knowing that they are coming sooner or later.

Hideki retracts his reiatsu almost immediatly feeling another preciance within Charles. Hideki knew this to be very usaul. Though he kept what he knew to himself. "Now is the next binding spell. Constrict your soul, Bound by my will, Chains of earth constrict and coil Way of Binding No. 12: Chains of Earth!"

Chains from the ground of the class sprang up into the air wiggling around and then shooting toward Charles, though before they could ensnare him Hideki canceled the spell.

"Now there are two ways to do Binding spells. Force your Reiatsu out of you body around your opponent while saying the spell and the spell was occur or force your reiatsu into the ground and speak the spell and the spell will occur. This is what you must do. End of lesson."

Grateful for the end of the lesson- moreso for his sake than for the instructors, Charles relaxes a bit again. For a moment he goes over all that he needs to in his head. After a few moments, though, a startling realization rears itself in his mind. Looking up at Hideki, the sheepish voice reasserts into the room.

"Thank you, sir . . . but where do I go from here? I literally just got to the academy, and don't really have the schedule down yet." A sheepish smile on his face, Charles looks around the room, noting all the exits, and wondering which he should take.

"Well it depends, you could do abunch of things. Your next class isnt until who knows when and for now you can basically do all that you want." Hideki gave a lighthearted grin and steped bak away from Charles so that he could get his cleaning done once again.

"I . . . see. Well, thank you again for giving me a lesson, sir." Unsure of what else to say or do, Charles literally picks a doorway, and moves. Leaving the classroom, his destination is open, letting him wander around aimlessly.

"Well, at least this way I can find out the lay of the land!" From time to time, he looks down into his hand, and reads a bit of his scroll. A smile comes across his face as he learns more and more about this place and the powers that seem to be offered to him. Only later will he realize that the power is already in him, this just utilizes his own strength.
