Lumina had been handling the Cafe well in Yakō's absence. It was a nice change of pace from her normal witchly duties. Even without her brother there to help she didn't seem to be getting overwhelmed. The traffic was high,but that was relatively common around this time. Even the quality of the confections remained high. While not as skilled as her sister,or brother Lumina could still whip up a few tasty treats. She walks outside to take care of the new arrivals. It doesn't take her long to reach Illo.

Illo simply nodded and waited, giving a once over to his menu. The thing about this place was the service; he absolutely loved that bustle you could just get lost in. The flow, everything about it was conducive to just letting go and letting the night find you if you know how to stake down a spot properly. The hood would stay up, but a slight smile could be seen under it as the monk pulled out a small pad and began to write some more kanji characters on it.
"Peace, Solitude, Secrecy," were some of the words scrawled out on the page by the time Lumina came back. It looked so innocuous, but at the same time there was a clear theme going on. Illo smiled and set down his brush.
"It's a nice night to do something, even something as frivolous as writing, don't you think?"
Lumina serves Illo his tea. It would be rude not to converse with him she thought. It's the kind of thing her sister Yakō would do,and Lumina was taking over for her.

Illo couldn't help thinking this girl had a million other places she'd rather be in this moment, but he reconciled this distraction he was making for her with a simple notion of, "well, she needed a break." The way of the phoenix is justified.
"I see," said the monk sitting up from his kanji piece. "I suppose that makes this all the more frivolous to you, doesn't it?" He thought for a moment, talking a sip of his tea. "You must be tired. Challenge your mind to rest every so often." The prescription was good, but should it really come from a man who nearly trains himself to death daily?
Lumina sighs and plays with her mothers necklace. After a moment she speaks as if reassuring herself in something.
I suppose so. My goal is to move forward. With my friend Shrioyasha's long awaited wish about to be underway I need to be alert. My friends and family have been training for years in preparation. Illo perked up a little at the mention of that name. Now it seemed like the steam from his tea was hanging there still like a jail breaker clinging to a wall like a fly who clung to conversation in the summertime. He saved that question for later, though, and answered hers with some amusement.
“Hm… Justice and religion are too abstract to fight over; battles are very certain, you know? Scientific, even,” He began with a slightly lighter tone than his usual rasp. “Ideology is interesting: each of has a different ideology just as we have different fighting styles, there are inevitable overlaps in those ideologies, and those can either produce violence or conversation; which all depends on your attitude toward fighting.” He thought of it for a moment.
“Varnasharmadharma,” was all he said at first, then he elaborated. “It means duty for duty’s sake. There can be no ulterior motive in fighting; I just don’t think it has any room. And besides, isn’t fighting elegant enough without weighing it down with such trivial issues of this world? It is this way for everything I do: a reverence to the act itself to perceive my world in its full glory…”
“And what about you?” said the monk raising his cup, “Do you fight? What is it you move forward to?” The interesting thing about their talk was how many times self contradictions could be noted from either side; was this simply a modicum of self discovery? The Advaita Vedanta in Illo would be inclined to agree and elaborate, and as the moon dripped its madness over the sugary, semi-arid cafe an applause of chatter came to comfort those words and add multiples of knowledge and paradoxical wisdom, the likes of which made the presocratics c** in their eternal clouds of ideas--or whatever analogy they used to steer away from Heaven--so that conversations blended and grew until they were something more. This was the night Poetry was conceived on.
After noticing Illo's change as she mentioned Ren's Alias, Lumina gets a mental flash of Rihan all of a sudden. After it passes without even spreading her smile, she bursts into a coarse laughter. She throws places her hand over her mouth and the power of her laughter makes her body shake. All traces of composure fall like a veil, revealing a small look into Lumina's hidden self. The street echoes with it and the other patrons stare in disbelief as they'd never seen Lumina express herself in such a fashion. It was truly a rare treat for them . Moment by Moment, it breaks in little bursts and hiccups. Lumina pants pulls herself back,and smile creeps up on her lips again.
I'm sorry about that. What you said just reminded me of another friend of mine. He feels the same away about fighting as you just said. Unfortunately my reason is nothing special.I am currently Captain of the Great Maaba's Witch Guardian Corps;thus my duty is to protect witches as well as overseeing classes at the DMA. Aside from that I can only hope to strike down everything that would strive to do those who are precious to me harm. So in a my own way I do fight for what I believe is my duty. Illo ended up curling his fingers in at the shrill cackles coming unexpected from the waitress. She was so mild-mannered a moment ago... What could he have done to stir this up? Setting his steaming cup down, he cleared his throat.
"That's alright... So, you work for the school in some way as well." Illo chuckled silently to himself. "I used to be the janitor at Shibusen," he said giving away his identity if Lumina had heard anything about the janitor/warrior/monk of Shibusen. "It was the same with me, in a way: I was told that serving Death would unlock my greatest potential; and that I would see the Truth; but it seems I was misguided." The monk took a melancholic sip of his tea.
"But that's neither here nor there," he said leaning back from the dreary topic. "This friend of yours, he's a fighter too?"

Illo was a little on edge as this girl, who he thought was normal enough, seemed to conjure up a storm with nothing more, seemingly, than indignation. His cup was down and his guard was up, figuratively, invisibly. But this too passed, and Illo found himself sighing at the second outburst. He readjusted himself and found it rather inconvenient to not have soul perception at the moment (though it wouldn't matter).
"Clearly it upsets you; I'm sorry to be the bringer of such unpleasant memories, though I wish you wouldn't get so excited...." He took a sip of his tea and considered her next words.
"Shiroyasha... The Fox with silver hair? It's been a long time; anyone associated with her must be a fierce fighter indeed!" Now the monk was starting to wake up. "I could only imagine what a match against that type of opponent would be like..." Under his hood the monk's eyes were beaming secret messages of hope back to the moon with its s**t eating grin.

While running into the man at her sisters Cafe was quite an unexpected occurrence,Lumina saw no reason for a confrontation. Even if his intention was to find Ren she doubted he'd attack without being provoked. Coupled with the fact the streets were pretty busy it was highly unlikely Illo's would try to fight for fear of casualties. For now she would play the simple waitress .

Illo seemed to take this as a cue to leave. It seemed natural that people on the outside would cast him out; themselves of course being the normal ones to leave Illo a pariah, but it was in the way they did this, that seemed to pique the monk's interest. The last of his tea was gone now anyway and the shop seemed to be closing up for the night, so it was right that Illo leave, but before he did he would at least ask a couple things about Shiroyasha.
"Good, I'm glad to hear she's doing well--what with having such able help I mean." A melancholic indigo crept as a sunburned lizard over his face as the street light nearest the inn flickered to life against the stark night. It could only be seen from the corner of his hood, but it was there.
"It wasn't long before after my first mission that I encountered Shiroyasha..." He would proceed to retell the event with as much of the main story in tact as possible. "She never seemed to put much stock in me: my first lesson in humility?"

xxxx~ EZ Flow Armor. This armor focuses on enhancing Lumina speed,flexibility,and agility. It allows Lumina to empty her mind mind,and become as formless as water. If you put water into a cup,it becomes the cup.You put water in a bottle and it becomes the bottle. That water can flow,or it can crash. To become like water,Lumina must be able to function in any scenario she is thrown into and adapt accordingly. With this armor she knows when to speed up or slow down,when to expand and when to contract,when to remain flowing and when to crash.while wearing this armor Lumina becomes unpredictable,and strikes from her subconscious mind. It allows her moves to flow out of her individual essence. That being said the fighting style associated with the armor is rather lax as well as overall focused on adaptability and evasion.
xxxx~ Tsukikage Ishōsessei ( Moon Shadow Garment of Self-Restraint): The Tsukikage Ishōsessei was once worn by Lumina's father,and thus this replica made by Yakō is special to her. It is a set of training gear to increase her magic energy reserves, a wearer of this Garment needs to actively cycle soul wavelength energy throughout their entire body in order to simply move, let alone fight. When using this armor, Lumina primarily uses her Shugetsu.
xxxx~ Blacksmith of the Eras (時代の鍛冶, Jidai no Kaji), :Lumina's common outfit for crafting weapons,and using Senbonzakura. It can stand high amounts of heat,and refines her energy to its highest point. Among weapon makers it is the symbol of a master craftsmen.
||~Lumina's Armor - xxxx~ Reishadanki(Soul Breaker) :Lumina's main weapons that serve a balanced offense and defense. The shield has the ability to guard against not only physical attacks, but magical ones as well,while the sword can cut thru weak barriers and spells. These weapons are only used with her Witches Paladin armor,and are her main choices in combat.
xxxx~ Tsuki Rōzuobu (月ローズオブ, lit. Rose of the Moon) - :is the name of Lumina's specialized sword for her EZ Armor. A beautiful blade, a heartfelt gift from her brother and sister. The sword has proven to be incredibly useful in many a situation.The blade of the sword is reinforced by a inlay of moonstone that resonates at extremely high frequencies. Due to this it exponentially increases the potency of Lumina's Rei Furashuu when she channels energy into it. Lumina can use the chain on her blades hilt to swing and toss it at opponents for mid-range combat. The chain can even be used to spin the sword with one finger if she desires. The blade moves very fast when thrown, and its impact can damage a building when enhaced by her soul wavelength.
xxxx~ Shugetsu (Beheading Moon Blade):In its unsealed form It takes the form of a large magatama-shaped sword.A bangle is attached to Lumina's arm with a cord attached to it and the hilt of the sword allowing her to throw it. The sword is black and white and usually covered with bandages.When drawn in the presence of a full moon, the blade glows silver.When fully released the sword grows into a more scythe-like blade,but loses it ranged capabilities. Shugetsu's most infamous ability is it's massive extension force, capable of piercing steel.
xxxx~ Shinken Seigetsuei ,(Divine Sword of the Lunar Eclipse"):A purely golden colored magic sword that houses a large portion of Lumina's magic power . It is legendary blade, a divine construction, the pinnacle of perfection, forged by Lumina herself . Lumina carries this around in a scabbard wrapped in sacred seals, holding it in the same manner as a cane or a staff in most cases. Otherwise she keeps it wrapped in cloth on her back. Made of highly refined moonstones the sword holds the power to repel those aligned with evil,as perceived by Lumina. The sheath can deflect and resist demon energy attacks with the barrier seal used to contain its power. However, the sheath can only withstand a limited number of attacks. The sword also cannot be touched by a demonic or evil being or they will be severely burn on contact. Lumina keeps this blade hidden at all times as its power may been sought out by those who would abuse it. It currently resides in her Realms most secure chamber and powers the defensive barrier around the realm.

xxxx~ Tenshi no Fue ( Angel Flute) :Legendary flute that is said to enchant anyone who hears its tune. It was once her fathers who discovered that demons reacted to music, particularly certain frequencies created when two tones cross. He formulated a system using a magical progression of tonal combinations that exposes demons. It is said he based this system around the sound produced from the Twin Moon Swords. Thus, he composed music that would drive weaker demons into a frenzy thus exposing them,but only cause mild discomfort to stronger ones . These songs though need to played with a simple representation of notes, with little to no interpretation or emotion. During her childhood Lumina was sung these melodies as lullaby,and plays them in her free time.
xxxx~ Guardian Corps Badge: A symbol of the Elite Witches Guard that Lumina keeps on her at all times. It grants her authority in certain situation such as the protection of rouge or innocent witches from DWMA forces. This also extends to the recovery and protection of witches souls from miesters. The badge alerts Lumina if endangered witches are nearby via an alarm sound which can only be heard by the her. xxxx~ Moonstone Stele According to her brother Decus steles are the tools used by members of their clan to draw runes onto their skin, weapons, and other materials. They are made of rare moon stones and were crafted by the founders of the clan. Lumina's stele looks like a metallic pen, though the length and style vary and may depend on the her preferences. Steles have a sort of aura to them, a ghostly imprint of their owner's personality. Lumina uses this when crafting her weapons,by channeling her power thru the stele the tip glows hot and allows her to inscribe things thru branding.
xxxx~ Densoumamori (伝送守り, Communication Amulet):If two people have one, they can communicate to each other even if they are in different places. However, the range of this Magic Tool depends on the quantity of Magic of the persons who are using it. Yakō uses this to keep in contact with her siblings.
