She was about the same level, and just couldnt seem to break that plateu for the better side.

She felt her concentration wander slightly, but she caught herself and focused her chakra to her hand, trying to get it to spin.

She growled as it seemed to fail. She knew she was doing something wrong, but didnt know what exactly, so she just kept going.

She felt it again, it was close, but not close enough.

It was so close, and she knew it, there were faint swirls of chakr, but not enough to make the actual ball.

She took a deep breath, but the demon interupted.
'Stupid child, stop wasting my chakra! Do it right already,' the demon hissed in Cerbi's mind. Cerbi just scoffed, and continued to try, not even bothering to anser the demon's remarks.

She still wasnt concentrating enough, and she knew it. She couldnt let the demon's comments have an effect.

She wouldnt let this go to her head. If she could begin to do the rasengan without the demon's powers, it mustnt have been much of a chore with the extra power. But obviously it was more than just power needed for this jutsu.

She saw the beginning of the rasengan ball in her hands, but it quickly died out, explanding too much and losing it's power. She smirked at this, and regained all her confidence. She tried once again to get it to work.
