Shadow watched as Verde's "playmate" spoke to a green lady. He wasn't sure what they were talking about but whatever it was seemed to make the "playmate" more energetic. Shadow then looked back to Verde who was talking to everyone. Verde seemed happy so Shadow decided that everything was alright and snuggled in to Kyrie.
Sara smiled as Verde spoke to everyone. It seemed like Verde was a bit more confident for this coming round. Well, at least that is how she saw it. Sara was unaware that she was about to face some competition of her own and only hoped that she could keep up playing. Jein was very helpful even if he said otherwise. Sara turned towards Jien to smile at him as well. Then time was up, and Verde had to face his second round. With hope in her heart, she walked towards the area where she had been playing before.

 Wagner nodded in cheerful acknowledgement, adjusting his glasses with one of his rune-inscribed gloves. Just then the referee piped up again, signaling what Wagner had to assume was the start of the second round. He felt a sense of almost palpable anticipation. Now that he was at least tangentially aware of the rules of the sport from what he'd seen during the first round, the next round promised to be all the more interesting. "I have confidence Mr Verde, show that morally reprehensible numpty what for" he encouraged his pluman friend.

Looks like they're starting round three...care to make a wager on the outcome?
*She puts a hand to her mouth*
Unless that would be considered rude. I know this sport carries a lot of pride and honor. But I'm talking about a friendly wager, not a black-market gambling ring.

 *La Árbitra looks at both Boxadores and nods. She makes the gesture to begin exploring the unknown and says,* "¡Boxaran!"La Ronda 2 - 2:59 *Menta's Bardo wastes no time starting his song. He needs to redeem himself from the last round. Cross-Choir'd! The track name displayed on the screen says El Fregar Menta - Golpiza Primavera.* "So we begin the La Segunda Ronda. I wonder what kind of....¡¡EL FREGAR MENTA HAS ALREADY CLOSED THE DISTANCE!! ¿¡HAS HE ALREADY RECOVERED FROM THE DAMAGE!?""....to think he'd get so excited that he'd interrupt himself mid-sentence..." *Min shakes his head.* *Verde suddenly stumbles backwards. His head suddenly hurts. He's dizzy and staggers backwards. '¿What just happened...? ¿¡There are five Mentas...!?*  *Menta pulls his left fist back, which he had apparently extended.* "Down you go. I'm pulling you so far down the Rabbit Hole that you won't know which way is up. Macuiltochtli (Quintuple Rabbit Intoxication)."*Mac looks confused* "Hermano. What just happened? No comprende..."It would seem that El Fregar Menta has gotten even more of a speed boost. Let's replay the clip."*The screen changes to 5x slow motion. It shows El Fregar Menta landing five left hooks to Verde's temples: two on the left and three on the right. They're not super-powerful, but they're extremely fast and sharp. So fast that it was all done in that instant.* *Verde struggles to maintain his balance, but his sense of balance is completely messed up. He swings at Menta, but from an outsider's persepective...it's not even close.*

Emerald eyes watched, darting back and for the between the stage and the screen. Something wasn’t quite right with that. It felt like a d**k move…but if the referee didn’t call on it…then…it was a fair strike…? Kyrie’s eyes narrowed as Verde stumbled and fumbled with his swing.
“CONCENTRATE!” She yelled out. “CLOSE YOUR EYES AND REFOCUS!” If he can’t see the attack, would there be away for him to sense it by sound, smell…touch…? All the while, she playfully waved her fan over Shadow, letting the little dragon play with the lacey fabric.

The abrupt offensive by Menta was surprising, had the rabbit man simply been holding back during the first round, would there be a point in that? Was this what he'd heard of as 'sandbagging'? Wagner wasn't sure what anything about this had to do with bags of silicon dioxide rich mixtures of minerals, but he hoped that Verde would not be thrown off by it. "Do not let your confidence falter, he's only a bag of sand!" he shouted out, the alchemist hoping he sounded confident enough that nobody would question whether he really knew anything he had just said or not... as he most certainly did not.

 "I didn't think that guy could move so fast!" *She looks over to Kyrie* "I guess that Mint Scrub has some skill after all. I wonder why he didn't fight that way in the first round." *Verde's Bardo stomps his foot, annoyed that Menta's Bard was quicker on the draw.* "Señorita Soto....Señior Piñata...I believe that with you two, this song can be done. This song is something that I need your assistance. Por favor. Maybe we can help him focus with this." *He hands them sheets of music. The song is titled: El Soldado. He prepares his body for dynamic percussion.* ((So just take this and use this how you'd like. biggrin )) "¿A wager? I suppose such things are common place. ¿What would you suggest?"

Jien bobs up and down to get the rhythm, then begins playing. He uses the guitar to create a solid sound so that Sara's violin can dance and soar.

Sara had been surprised by the 600 beats per minute song coming right out of the blue. Whoa! Sara's surprised look went directly towards the opposing bard. He was really good! However, when the bard on Verde's team spoke up, Sara looked towards him to see him offering her some sheet music. Sara looked it over. It was quickly paced and Sara would have to sight read it, but she couldn't let Mister Clover or Verde down! Sara nodded and felt the adrenalime surge in her as she picked up the bow to play the song. 'Don't think!/Just play.'
Shadow was distracted by sudden music and distracted again by a lacy fan just begging to batted at. Resembling a kitten, Shadow began to lightly play with the fan.

An adorable black bear appears in Berkana's lap. It looks up at her and gives a grumble/yawn before it speaks.
Oh, hey Berkana...whoops...it's like I've been in some sort of RP purgatory for a few years, got wayward and stumbled over here.
It's Raiden...who's normally a humanoid (We're not getting into how complicated THAT is just for the sake of a cameo) summoner and not an adorable bear. He's met Berkana in another place and time.
Anywho...sorry to interrupt...
He does some stretches, as though working out the kinks in his muscles...which is made only more adorable by the fact that he's a freakin bear!
You look too busy for bears...bye!
He taps a paw on Berkana's nose, vanishing as mysteriously as he appeared, and leaving a bearless Berkana behind in Boxa Libre.

Looking back to Berkana, Kyrie gave her friend a slight shrug. “Maybe he was too cocky for his own good, and Verde’s victory in the first round knocked some sense into him.” She suggested, though in truth…the dragoness hoped that it didn’t cause Verde to lose his will to fight.
But the Jien, Sara, and Verde’s bard would start to play, which in turn gave a sense of hope. Even the fan Shadow played with would mimic the song, swishing and swirling this way and that in time with the music.
And the whole bear appearing and disappearing...left the dragoness looking rather confused. "Um...?"

*Berkana shakes her head in response to Wagner and Kyrie's comments.* "I'm not so sure. If he were really that great on his own, I think he'd rank higher. If not that, then I'm worried about what the higher ranked Boxadors are like..."*Just then she notices a magical distortion* "A reverse summoning..? From Horizon...?" *Berkana notices a familiar magical presence, but then her jaw drops as....a goddamn cute as ******** bear appears.* "B...be....bea.....beaa....!" eek *And he's gone before any snuggles can happen. She rushes over to Kyrie* "KYRIE! That was a bear! I didn't get a chance to snuggle it! I wanted to touch the pawsies....!" crying *She looks way more shocked that a crossover character was a bear rather than the fact that the flow of reality was broken for a moment.*

Kyrie froze as Berkana virtually freaked out with joy over the bear that had appeared in her lap. “Um…” Quick! Think! What does one do such a situation?!
The dragoness pulled out one of her enchanted keys and pressed it into one of Shadow’s paw. With three snaps of her fingers, Shadow’s appearance changed to look as though it were the bear from just second before. “Snuggle…?!” Kyrie then squeaked as she presented the bear disguised baby dragon to her friend…keeping a safe distance between her and Berkana…just in case the woman grew violently affectionate.
