The race was going when the Ickycom spat and described the situation, AJ seemed to hear his new friend's name. What?! Drug test?! The boil was pretty sure the reaper didn't cheat at all. He looked at another team that remained - undead. He knew one or two creeple from the house and knew their unexpected physical strength. Moreover, they are dense to pains which give them certain advantages. It was a fight of merely strength. Anyway, monsters can be incredible also, maybe it would be luck who decided the winner of this race. Amrita had only been half-listening to the announcements, but it was clear that it was apparently Hel's fault the Reaper Dorms lost. Part of her was amused and the other part was pleased, and she made a mental note to speak to her favourite loyal subject on her recent screw-up. Heh.
They had made it to the final round. Undead vs Monster. They were so close to victory she could taste it...well, if she had taste buds, anyway. She took up the rope and gave a small glance to see who was behind her. Alex, huh? She gave him a grin.
"Don't slip now, Alex.~" She teased in a sweet voice. "No pressure or anything." She continued on, managing to keep a straight face for only a moment before laughing off just how serious she had been, deep down. She grabbed the rope for real now and heaved with all her might, not about to let the Monsters win.

There was a lot of pulling coming from somewhere, and it soon became apparent as the loudspeaker called out a name of a certain reaper ghoul with which Alex had a bit of sibling rivalry with. He actually smirked a little when she got taken away for drug testing, and shook his head. There was no way Hel hadn't just done that with her own raw strength. Ghoul was a jacking powerhouse, that was all. It had jerked on his arms hard enough to cause quite a few stitches to pop, however, and also to jar the bones in his right hand, though they were fairly tightly wound with bandages. It was a bit alarming, nevertheless, and he began exerting less force lest his arms be ripped off entirely. A voice in front of him had him looking up from his arms. Amrita.....? It was hard to tell if she was joking or not, her look so serious when she said it, which was....actually quite unnerving considering he knew the ghoul to be friendly and very considerate. But then she laughed and those worries eased away as he grinned back at her. "Bold words considering I've been doing most of the work for you up until now." He laughed, though there was some inward relief to be had from her sudden show of strength, which helped to slacken the amount of tension he needed to apply himself. Mathias was really starting to get the hang of this! An invigorated feeling began to well up inside of him now that the reaper team had been ousted from the competition, leaving only the monsters and the rotting corpses to battle it out to the finish. And monsters were stronger. They had to be. He really began to give tugging on the rope his all, his wings still beating furiously behind him as the muscles in his arms strained. Christof hauled for all he was worth, snarling as his nostrils flaired. His first round had gone so well, but this time as he wrenched he heard popping stitches... and one of his arms suddenly popped clear off, sending him fumbling backward. Still gripping the rope with the severed arm, he took a hold with the remaining two and tried to make up for it. It was the last round and the undead where still in it. Monty grabbed the rope and pulled again. it wasn't going so easy as the first cpl. rounds but he didn't give up.
