Atticus would stop hitting the barrier the moment Shira put herself in between him and Emma. She would try and get him to come back, both mind and body, telling him to get a grip. Listening to her, Atticus seemed to have been able to understand her words, as he slowly lowered his hand. However, clearly that was not the case, as he only found her amusing, as shown by his weird smile. Shira, while trying to bring Atticus back to his normal self and help out Emma, had inadvertently made herself the object of his attention now. Raising his hand up once more, Atticus continued to pound on the barrier. Just as it would appear that the barrier would break, Atticus would stop as Herald delivered a might slap to his face. If this hand been the other Atticus, a slap like that probably would have knocked him back a couple of feet, but sadly this Atticus is different. He would remain in the same place, appearing unaffected by the slap, lowering his hand, Atticus glanced over at Herald and held up a single finger. A mass of pure dark energy would form at the tip of his finger and without a second thought, Atticus would unleash the mass in the form of a black beam, aiming at Herald's head. He then looked back towards Shira and with the least bit of effort, broke through the barrier and grabbed her by the neck, lifting her slowly up off the ground. Raising his other hand, Atticus positioned it directly at her chest, intending to pierce her through.
☽ Shira struggled as Atticus grabbed her, this also left Emma and Ellise unable to do anything without harming Shira. Emma quickly created a thin barrier in front of where Atticus intended on piercing her to temporarily stop him. Her attention went to Herald to see if he was alright then. Shira coughed as it was now difficult to breath. She looked down at Atticus then and grabbed his arm "Don't do this, Atticus... you will regret it later... she managed to choke out. If she couldn't make him snap out of it, she was in trouble followed by the others. She built up her wavelength and focused on trying to resonate with him. "Please." she begged as she looked at him. Ellise's sword appeared then as she waited for a chance to attack Atticus. If he pierced Shira, she was going to get involved. "Wait..." she told Umbra "Wait and see if he is still there."☾
UMBRA ___________________________________________________________ Umbra looked back at Ellise "from experience...the odds are quite slim..." he said "but..very well..im patient if not respective" he said still having his hand glow black as he watched Atticus carefully to see his actions

+ Null Zone: with his powers Umbra can great a zone that nulls all abilities this Zone is revealed by a black aura that covers the ground, it must connect to Umbra of course, when he does this it basically surrounds him, if anyone moves into this zone they are rendered unable to use powers, weapons can stay in their forms, but cant activate anything, miesters are stuck only with their weapons, Black Blood and madness seem to shrink down as if they were disappearing, but of course they are not, the only down fall of this ability is that when using this, he can not use any of his powers, since he is in the zone constantly when activated he must rely on his blades to defend himself,(those who are outside the zone can use magic and magic can go through the zone as long as the caster isn't touching inside the zone. another flaw is that this zone can only reach 40 feet around him. (this is meant to make people actually fight him and not..well use their advantage of powers..we can say its the one ability to make everyone almost Human lol) + Wings of Death: as one would see he has wings which seem very faded yet when looked closely seem like they are simply ghostly bones, but in fact is a death aura that is used to help Umbra move faster, this also allows him to levitate around, really despite being an death aura it doesn't hurt anyone rather if people try to attack it they will miss because it will go through as if it was mist. + Curse of the Heavens:this ability is more of a curse hence the name, it can not affect others because this curse is upon Umbra, this explains mostly of who Umbra is, because this is the whole reason behind why his memory is missing before he became a kishin. This Curse is one of the worst curses one could have because what it does is create utter emptiness within the reciprocate, Umbra, with this emptiness ones face will begin to disappear, and eventually nothing will appear, this will lead to many wearing a hood, this hood is the only thing left to hide the nothingness, as its own darkness f the shadow hides the reality of this part, not only will it do this, ones memory will begin to fade until nothing is left, ones memory is sealed away only to be released upon death. the third fault of this curse is that ones voice because a challenge, the voice is completely destroyed but at times a deep echoed voice will take the place of words, but even then it is rare to hear. + Blades of the Heavens: Umbra wields two weapons both of which are exactly alike, when he is fighting, can change the blades to two different elements, Darkness and light. when consumed by Darkness, the blades become Black even the actual blade part, they act the same way but in truth these blades allow Umbra to swing much quicker and harder, making it sound for Offensive. while on the other hand, Umbra can turn them White these are seen as Defensive, they do not move as quick as the black blades, but rather have their own attribute to defend against magic, or abilities well, it cant negate the power but it can lessen the amount of the magic to a good degree. + Crosses of Diablo: as one would picture crosses being the symbol of heaven and good, but these are different, they are what would find hell. they are pure dark energy, rather its concentrated making it much stronger and more dangerous then normal darkness many could muster. Umbra can fire Crosses at enemies, they go in a straight shot, they are fired from the palms of Umbra, and seem to increase size as they move, + Scythe Blade Enraged Fusion Seal:Umbra using the two weapons as matched as they are can bring them together to create a circle, this Circle soon creates what is to be a energy field, as time continues with this circle, the energy field becomes darker,only to become a dark red color, this attack makes everything seem to shake as if an earthquake is happening all of the sudden. in Umbra's view the target must be within the circles view, when this all happens the dark red disappears and appears under the target with what seems like runes and words under them, soon to follow red light which will surround them, this entire event is meant to act like a seal, it can withstand an army of attacks, and has captured many enemies before, powerful enemies. Umbra Never uses this power unless its the final end, where it will end the fighting. the reason behind this is that this takes time to power up, and after using it, Umbra becomes weak to where he can barely stand, still can but its a struggle, making him vulnerable to everything. +(soon to come when needed) +(soon to come when needed)
Atticus appeared unmoved by Shira's plea as he had lunged his hand forwards, attempting to strike her, thankfully, Emma had erected a small barrier in the air, before he did, so his strike had been blocked, but now that he was aware of the barrier, it would not work a second time. As he was preparing for a second strike, Atticus would be able to feel Shira's soul wavelength as he grew stronger and tried to resonate with his own. Not knowing what it was that she was trying to achieve, Atticus initiated the second strike, but this time, the barrier would be useless to him. A second before his hand would pierce her, hearing Shira's last plea, the demon atticus would freeze. Something about Shira was beginning to unsettle him, was it her voice? Her appearance? No, it was something about this strange, weak being that caused the demon to drop her immediately and step back from her. Opening his mouth, he would try and form words, but yet again, only shrieks and howls would come out. Raising one hand, Demon Atticus grabbed his head and looked around, trying to find a new person to target. Whatever Shira was doing, it had began to affect him, whether it meant that Atticus was beginning to regain control or just that he was starting to regress further, no one could truly know.
Herald's eyes widened as Atticus aimed a killing beam at him but he reacted quickly, tilting his head to the side in the nick of time as the beam shot past him, burning his skin. He ignored the burning sensation as the barrier broke and Atticus grabbed Shira. He watched Atticus grab Shira and lift her off the ground, walking over as Atticus attempted to pierce Shira's chest. Sadly, his proximity to the rest of the group would mean they would start burning from the superheated air around them, except The Reaver who shared Herald's heightened tolerance for heat. "Stop," he said simply, attempting to gain his attention again. As Atticus was wide open, Herald reached back and attempted to drive his fist straight into Atticus's side to do as much damage as he could at close range. Due to the fact that Atticus was so close to Shira, Herald kept the green streamers of energy behind them, rather than send them towards Atticus to try and burn him.

☽ Shira landed in front of him, coughing for a few moments before catching her breath. She looked up at Atticus before standing up and grabbing his hand with both of hers, continuing to try and resonate. She stared at his hand for a moment then up at him "If you continue to be like this, then your promise you made to me about being by my side would be a lie. Mirai, Charlotte, and Vince would also hate to see you like this. I know you want to defeat Herald but use your own power, not this." she said, shaking her head then. "Turn back to normal, fight Herald with your own strength, and then come back home with me." she said with a small smile, obviously trying her best to get him to snap out of it. Emma watched as Herald attacked "Herald! Wait until Shira is out of range!" she called. The remaining bits of the barrier managed to begin regenerating then. ☾
UMBRA ___________________________________________________________ Umbra sighed as the glow disappeared "there is a point..when a choice needs to be made...and it would seem this girl is choosing the riskiest choice of all...willing to put herself at risk to save one man..who had died not to long ago" he muttered to no one but watched atticus still unsure if what shira was doing would prove successful or not

As Shira came up to him and grabbed his hand, Demon Atticus did his best to resist her, he pulled away, but for some reason he could not break free of her grasp, even though he had more than enough strength to do so. Looking down, his eyes would meet with Shira's as she looked up at him. Hearing her words, Atticus, whether consciously or unconsciously, lowered his guard and relaxed a bit. It seems that looking into her eyes and having her wavelength meet with his, caused him to weaken a bit. Shira would be able to see Atticus' eyes change from white, back to yellow, its original color. This could mean that he was starting to come back. Atticus opened his mouth to speak, but before anything could happen, he would be hit by Herald's fist, causing him to be thrown to the side. Stopping his movement, Atticus would turn back to face Herald and the others, but his eyes had reverted back to pure white. Letting out a shriek, Atticus flew right towards Herald, unleashing more energy beams at him. Obviously, Herald's actions had caused Atticus to fall back under the sway of the demon, if he had waited a little bit longer, Shira might have gotten through to him.
☽ Shira smiled up at Atticus as it seemed she had reached him but then Herald attacked him, causing him to revert. Shira swore under her breath and watched as Atticus attacked Herald. "If you don't want all of us to die, let me talk to him, Herald! Then your fight can continue!" she shouted to him. Emma tried to wave Shira down but that didn't seem to be working. Ellise lowered her weapon "At least he went back to fighting Herald..." she muttered, obviously deciding not to fight now. She looked at Umbra "What happened to not getting involved much?" she asked. ☾

UMBRA ___________________________________________________________ Umbra looked at her "You know very well..that when and if i deem a moment to interfere, i would use that power to seal away everything making this projection of anger and conflict to an end...and by this..im referring to the Null Zone" he told her, "the violence would cease to increase" e said seeming completely calm about what he was inferring Umbra indeed didnt want to get involved but if it meant stopping any further deaths then needed he was willing to do it.

Herald didn't look at Emma when she told him to let Shira try and bring him back. "What difference does it make? He'll be dead soon regardless of who he is." When Atticus rushed towards him, Herald launched himself upwards and let them shoot under him. But I can't keep this up forever. He thought to himself. Whatever he is, he needs to die again soon. He continued rising until he was on top of a new pillar, kneeling down to look at the demon. "This is almost over, demon," he told Atticus. He stared down at Atticus before taking a deep breath. When he exhaled he shot a stream of large fireballs towards Atticus. Unfortunately Shira would be in the blast radius but the others were just far enough away to avoid any damage.

Eric watched Herald interfere with Shira's progress and revert Atticus back into his maddened self, not that he was surprised. Herald wasn't going to slow down for Atticus's sudden insanity. When Herald took a deep breath and fired a stream of fireballs towards Atticus and Shira, he moved to get Shira out of the way, but The Reaver moved first. In a flash he was next to her, grabbing her by the shoulder. Then he was out of the way, dropping her just outside the blast radius as the fireballs landed. "Seems like Herald has a bit of a one track mind..." he observed with a small smile as he watched the battle again. Eric looked back towards the battle before turning to Emma. "He doesn't care about Atticus coming back," he told her.
Demon Atticus watched as Herald avoided his blasts and went up into the sky, landing on top a pillar. Not wasting in time, Demon Atticus, altered his flight pattern and shot up towards the air, in chase of Herald. As Herald shot out a barrage of large fireballs at him, Atticus would maneuver around in the air, dodging some and countering others with his own fire blast. He was determined to get to Herald and kill him, clearly he was completely focused on the creature. However, just as he was going to reach Herald's location, something in the demon compelled it to look down towards the ground. As he did, he would see that Shira was in the path of the fireballs that he had been dodging. Stopping quickly, Demon Atticus shot towards the ground, using his full speed, landing right in front of Shira, but the Reaver had gotten to her first. This left Atticus defenseless and vulnerable to each of the fireballs, all of which hit him. The resulting explosion from the impacts, caused an massive inferno of green flames to appear all around the area, followed by the shriek of Atticus. From within the flames, the silhouette of Demon Atticus' body would be seen, he had taken on heavy damage and suffered many burns. Glancing towards the area where the Reaver had tossed Shira, Demon Atticus' eyes would meet hers, she would be able to sense that he went there to protect her. Bleeding badly and injured even more, Demon Atticus turned away, still intending on fighting Herald. As he turned, Shira would see a light spark in his soul.
☽ Emma growled "Both of you will be dead if he stays like this!" she called. She heard Eric then "Yeah yeah... his reaction to when he killed Atticus the first time says otherwise though..." she muttered the last part. Herald seemed like the type that would feel pretty triumphant in winning a battle but when he killed Atticus, he just seemed indifferent about it. Did that mean he didn't want to kill him? She wasn't sure, she watched quietly before adjusting her wrist guards, obviously she was going to jump in soon it appeared. Shira was about to dodge but it appeared Reaver did that for her "Thanks..." she managed to say, not knowing why Reaver decided to save her. Ellise seemed a bit surprised by that as well. She looked at Umbra as he spoke then "I want to see what they do though." she said. Shira watched from a different pillar, seeing Atticus had taken a lot of the damage of the fireballs. "Keep on fighting, Atticus! You can do it!" she called, whether she meant the fight against Herald or the fight to regain his original form was unknown. ☾
Herald looked hard at Atticus as if he were measuring him up. "I can still kill him," he said. Though he knew he would have to pull some extreme measures now. He noted that Atticus went down to Shira when he shot his fireballs, presumably to protect her. He didn't notice or care about Atticus's interaction with Shira. "This is it," he muttered as he looked down at Atticus. Herald closed his eyes and focused, his energy spiking. He roared suddenly as there was an explosion of green fire. He was at 100% strength. Flames and streams of green energy whipped around him as he stood on the pillar. The pillar itself quickly burst into flames with Herald standing in the middle. "Let's finish this, Atticus," he said. He took a deep breath, his chest expanding massively. When he leaned forward, he launched out a mass of fireballs. But these were different. Instead of launching regular fireballs like he had been, he had used his flare artillery as a direct attack. This was usually not a good idea considering the mass amount of firepower used over such a wide area, but in the case of a being as strong as Atticus, it was practically necessary.
