"Well if you do plan to go through with this idea and go to hell then yes, you really think she wouldn't be looking for me?" He pointed out softly with a faint smile ad he peeked his head in through the door and smiled a little "Tatsu only teases you because he cares, besides hes right, you need to loosen up and start enjoying yourself, you need to laugh more you know? I think being free from angelic influence will help...I not saying that to corrupt you or anything its just...there control freaks" He said as he slipped into the room and looked out of the window "Sounds good to me...I miss home" He murmured as he rubbed his shoulders again with a sigh...stupid phantom pains.

Elijah smiled a bit as he leaned back against the closed doors, hands behind his back while he listened to everything the other had to say. It was rather silly of him to ask that, knowing full well the woman was probably in hysterics by now. It had been how many weeks since Devin had arrived at the house? He watched the other now, the smile slowly disappearing before he walked silently up behind him and pressed a hand against the small indentations where the wings had been pulled from. The limb warmed while he held the palm in against the soft fabric on the demon's back, the heat travelling through the cloth to warm the now limbless area. "I didn't want to bring it up, but when we leave tomorrow, let Tatsu know the closest district to your homeland, and we can get as close as possible. The rest will be on foot until you can get your wings back," he muttered, hand moving to the other side with a small sigh before he stepped forward and pressed his forehead to the small space between the demon's shoulder blades. He felt terrible about the fact that they had taken his wings, the hand slowly falling away from Devin's back though he stayed leaned in against the other as a silent tear slid down his face. The sudden moist line made him jump almost, hand lifting to quickly wipe at his cheeks before stepping away again, turning quickly once distance was between the two of them again.

"Sure I can do that, I'm pretty sure my mom is mourning me right now, she was much the same when dad died" He admitted softly as he peeked out of the window before he raised an eyebrow at the hands on his back the heat was soothing and he relaxed as he let the other do as he wanted the heat was nice against his back and he let a quiet purr rumble in his throat.
"...Yeah..." He said softly; he doubted he'd get his wings back but he didn't want to tall the other that, he blinked as he felt the others face buried into his back like that and smiled a little; the other was simply too kind for his own good. When Elijah released him he simply turned around and pulled the angel into his arms and hugged him, without saying a word his fingers playing with his hair gently.

The angel tensed when grabbed without warning, a habit that was almost automatic no matter who it was. Drawing in a breath, he slowly relaxed into the hold and leaned back into the warmth surrounding him, a hand lifting to rub at his eyes as they began to water again. It was one thing to beat someone to near death to get information, but to take away something that meant so much to a demon or an angel for that matter....Elijah almost felt at fault for allowing it to happen, slowly losing the battle with the tears that began to fall to the floor in front of him. "S-sorry...something in my eye," he stammered, free hand lifting to touch Devin's arm that was across his chest gently.

"It;s okay" Devin said softly "You can cry if you need to...let it all out okay? you'll feel better afterwards" e said softly his fingers still playing with the others hair in a soothing manner with a faint smile though it was tinged with sadness; his wings were gone and yeah it hurt him to not have them anymore but it could be worse; he could be dead, and he;d much prefer living then being wingless.

Head tilting down towards the ground, the hand that was so vigorously rubbing at his eyes slowly dropped to his side when the words were spoken; shoulders shaking slightly but no sound was made. If you hadn't been looking, you almost wouldn't have even known he was crying. He was so angry at the angels for doing this to someone for information. After doing something like this, could they even be considered angels? That emptiness that Elijah had within him slowly grew until it filled him completely, entire body still save the silent tears falling to the floor now. "Teach me. Teach me to control it. I've tried so hard to keep it locked away, to not show them how much of a weakness I would have when I was being used by them...I'm not going to anymore if you will show me how.." The angel laughed then, hand lifting to touch his right shoulder. "Now that we both have an enemy in common, let's bring him so far down he can never rise and pass through those white gates again. And only after he has suffered enough by both our standards of revenge, will we kill him...No, he doesn't deserve a quick death."

Devin was quiet for a long moment, as he let the other cry; there was only so much sorrow someone could bottle away before it overwhelmed them before he raised an eyebrow at that "I can try" He promised "I make no guarantees 'll be able to help, teaching isn't my forte...but I'll do my best" He promised.
Grinning a bit at the others words he leaned back against the wall and laughed "Your cute when you talk about killing someone in such a devious way, gotta admit tis kinda a turn on"

Elijah slowly nodded his head, hand lifting to pat the arm still around his chest. "Trying is all I can ask for, thank you," he replied, head tipping back to grin up at the other towering over him. Eyes closing, the tear stained face looked very out of place, the bright smile slowly fading at what was said after the laugh. Those pale eyes opened again, staring up at the other in silence as a darkness seemed to fill them, thoughts traveling through the angel's eyes before he could stop them. "And to think I'm just talking about it. Talking about it is half as fun as doing it," he mused, those eyes watching the other carefully in the silence that followed.

Devin smiled a little as he watched the other;s face change; the thing about elijah is angels saw the darkness in him and the devils saw the light, neither of it was usually good enough for them, too much of a balance between the two, Devin liked it though, it was nice,to have someone who could be cruel as they could be kind.
"Well that is true, actually doing things is a hell of a lot of fun when It comes to...physical activities, like fighting and sex I suppose" He said with a soft laugh "But seen as you've never killed another or had sex you wouldn't know would you?" He teased with a wink.

The thoughts from the demon were far too close to the truth for comfort, having lived through something was too hard for words. At least on Earth, he had found some comforts; a neutral territory to remain invisible to most prying eyes. It was a reason that he was only left alone within Hell when asked to take messages back and forth. He would constantly have to avoid any curious eyes that would fall upon him, not wanting to give any demon the reason to strike up a conversation, to give them a reason to want to...play.
Nodding just a bit at the words spoken, Elijah very slowly pulled away from the demon's embrace, hands moving to help pull the arms apart so he could put distance between them once more. "No....never anything like that..." he muttered, gaze being averted quickly as he drew in a breath to calm a suddenly racing heart beat, fingers sliding away from Devin's moments later.

Devin let him go, not forcing him to stay against his warmth before he raised an eyebrow at the others words "Maybe you should, I mean find someone you like and have some fun...I mean i know it takes a lot of trust for that but sure you'll find someone eventually...don;t let what Cain did to you drag you down...I didn't let it get me down, so you should'nt either"

Pausing in taking that next step, Elijah glanced over his shoulder when spoken to, those pale eyes lingering a moment or two before he started laughing. "Trust, don't make me laugh!" He headed out of the room, pausing in the doorway, an elegant hand touching the door frame before he looked back at the other again. "I did trust once. I trusted because other than my mother, he was the only one who would want anything to do with me. Turns out he was using me, just like all the rest in the end. I opened up enough to trust, and he exploited that to his own advantage, dragging me down and taking what I cherished most...I won't forgive him. All the more reason for him to suffer."

"You think because you were hurt you shouldn't trust another?" He asked him a softly as he regarded the other with soft almost sad eyes "...understand why you feel that way I do...your not the only one he violated" He admitted softly "...I trust you, and we will get our revenge on him...but killing him will not heal you fully...you will have to let what happened go...slowly over time...to not trust anyone is to mean a very lonely existence" He said simply "Nott even demons like being alone"

Those three words caught him off guard, blinking several times to understand just what it meant before the angel smiled. Interesting that Devin trusted him..."Don't tell me to let go of something you do not understand anything about." Those pale eyes flashed dangerously before Elijah turned the corner and went back down the stairs. "TATSU! Get things together for the trip," he called out, grumbling under his breath as he stomped down the stairs like a child not getting his way.

"..." Devin didn't get it; how could the other say he didn't understand what he was going through? Hadn't he been mentally and physically tortured? hadn't he been raped and humiliated? Hs wings torn from him, his body mutilated? It made him wonder just how much of Elijah's caring attitude was real and how much if it was a facade...perhaps he;d been wearing a facade for so long he didn't even know if it was real or not himself anymore.
Devin squeezed his eyes shut; as much as he hated to admit it, he had grown to trust the other, to care for him, and to know that that trust was in no way returned...maybe the other didn't really care for him at all maybe he just did and acted how he could to survive...and Tatsu and himself had given Eijah the mens and inspiration to move against Cain. "..." Devin headed to his room and lay on his bed quietly, he said nothing for the rest of the night and drifted off into an uneasy sleep.
