"Frivolous." Malcom repeated, giving a yell and falling as Hal yanked too hard. "Ow." He had caught himself, dusting off his hands and looking at the dog before giving his own version of a roar and trying to grab the bone, maned wolf easily avoiding him and smacking his paws against the ground again before running to avoid the child.

Hal left to fill up the bottles, letting the stew slowly heat up and bubble. The lid was taken off the well and he tested the water, agreeing that it was fine and filled up the bottle before walking back towards the house and pausing outside, brushing away the loose sand before digging his fingers in deep, digging until he got to the moist clay underneath. It wasn't the best flavor, but licking it he nodded and got only a little bit, returning back inside the house and throwing it into the stew. "It has nutrients. Not a lot, but enough."

Malcom was holding the bone in his mouth now, stnding on one side of Momo while Hal-Cujo panted on the other.

"This is nice." the android murmured, watching them briefly before going back to the stew, stirring it. "Momo come taste this."

"Nutrients, Momo." Hal chuckled, hearing the boy squeal and laugh, glancing over. Malcom was on his back and the maned wolf, at first glance seemed to be biting, but after a moment of staring he wasn't really biting. he'd open his mouth and move to bite, but would pull his head away before doing so. Animals were so intelligent. "And I agree, it smells much better. Perhaps a few more minutes and it will be ready." he gave it another stir, smiling as Malcom gave another laugh.

"It is a bit like family." When he snorted though Hal raised an eyebrow before chuckling himself. "Are you saying you don't care at all? I may be the better cook but you certainly have more heart than I could ever hope to obtain." he looked back at the stew. "It's ready. Pull the bowls out of the bag? We'll need those to eat."

Hal was a bit taken a back by the sudden tone in Momo's voice, running it through his database to see what it was. "Um, three. I don't eat, though I'm flattered you would remember to feed me." he shifted the fire, now trying to smother it than keep it burning. Seeing the bowls enter his peripheral he turned, grabbing them and leaning, placing a simple kiss on Monoki's lips. No transferring of oxygen, no cleaning, just a kiss before pulling away, taking the bowls with him. "Thank you, dear." he responded, chuckling and filling the first bowl. "Malcom. Food. Please stop playing so that you can eat."

"Are you going to feed Hal too?"

"Of course. This is his bowl. Take it to him, please." he started filling the third bowl. "Momo? Your food."

Malcom looked at it, somewhat put off. It was moving, and in water. It looked sort of icky. His nose crinkled in disust before looking over at Hal.

And Hal was eating his food heartily, canines digging in to the pieces of meat and bowl, lapping at the flavored water.

The boy watched him eat, looking back at his soup before taking a spoonful and taking a small sip, pausing and taking a larger sip before taking a spoonful. "It tastes good."

"Ah, that's good. I'm glad all three of you like it. And there's more if you want seconds. Now I am going to finish checking the bedrooms because we have an addition to our troop, so excuse me." he stood and moved back towards the bedrooms, passing the one they found the dead body in and going to the second one. It appeared to be the master bedroom. Well that was good, there appeared to be a blanket here. He took it off the bed and looked it over, dusting it off.

"Do robots dream?" Malcom asked, "Because he was sleeping earlier. So, does he dream?"

"But sleeping saves energy. But it's okay if he doesn't dream. I don't dream either. But if he doesn't sleep like us how does he sleep? Does he die?" when asked about the soup he smiled and nodded. "It tastes good. Like good dirt and meat. Because it's good and yummy. And you and him were very nice too me!" he took another spoonful, "It tastes like happy."

"Yep. It tastes like happy. Do you think Hal knows what happy tastes like? Can he eat? he said he didn't but can he still taste the happy?" he put the spoon down and picked up the bowl, swallowing the broth and crawling over to pour himself more at Momo's command. "I know my Hal can taste the happy." and looked back, the maned wolf licking at the edges of the bowl before taking the bone from the floor and chewing on it, tail wagging as he made eye contact with Malcom before looking away again.
