Onana climbed up the swings once again. She almost made it up to the top, but a strip of junk metal that had managed to laid flat underneath her body up 'til now ended up slapping her square in the face, like a cartoon character getting whacked with a rake. It knocked her back down to the ground.

Onana tried a different route up the swings this time. This time, she zig-zagged her way up them. Unfortunately for her, it made no difference. Part of the ride crumbled beneath her hands and she fell down again.

Onana climbed back up the swings. This time, she tried a combination of her last two ways of climbing it. She zig-zagged up the pole and used the rusty chains as grips. She avoided grabbing the weak seats and paid careful attention to any junk metal beneath her. She finally made it to the top. After that, she climbed down the rusty fence. Despite its fragility, it was a cakewalk in comparison to the swings.

The next obstacle was significantly less fun looking. An old spin-and-swing, half-collapsed, blocked the way forward. There was no going backward on the tracks, and the only way to continue was to climb over the crumbling edifice. Or wait for the shadow monsters to kill him. Nope. He slid down on his first attempt, scraping up his hands. "Easy peasy," he muttered to himself half-heartedly, wiping his hands on his pants and preparing for a second attempt. This time, he barely managed to scramble up and over, using the fence to clamber down on the other side. Onana finally arrived at the giftshop. It was positively filthy and looked like it fall apart at any minute. It was much like most everything else at the park in that respect. She stepped inside and began looking around for anything of interest. She shaded her eyes with her hand and ogled whatever was on the shelf in the distance. She couldn't make out any details, but she could see something glowing. "How interesting." She wanted to see what they were, so she began walking in the direction she saw them in. The floor creaked and crumbled with every step she took. (2 steps.)

Onana continued walking forward. She looked around and tried to make out the details of the inside of the shop, but it was far too dark to see much of anything at all. The only light sources was the dim light from outside behind her and whatever was on the shelves in front of her. (6 steps.)

Shaw wandered for some time, before finally coming upon what looked to be the end of the park - and next to the exit sat a squat building. He ducked inside. It seemed to be what was left of the gift shop, but most of the shelves were collapsed or empty. However, he could just make out something twinkling in the distance- He took a step forward, and the floor groaned in protest. Onana could've sworn she heard someone else in here with her. She couldn't see a thing, so she wasn't certain. Without stopping, she began asking a flurry of questions, "Hello? Anyone there? Do you have a name? My name is Onana." (9 steps.)

He was getting closer now - he still couldn't see what the objects were, but if he were a betting man, he'd say they were probably like the trinkets he'd found in other, similarly remote parts of the world. If Onana had to guess, she'd say she was about halfway to the shelve with the glowing souvenirs. It was much easier to see them now. She could now tell there were three of them, but she couldn't make out any other details. She thought it'd be safe to walk a bit faster. Then, she felt the floor shake beneath her feet. She panicked and took a couple of steps to the side. After that, she began walking slowly again. (11 steps.)

Onana was relieved to learn that the voice she heard was from someone like herself. "It's fine." She managed to catch up with him. "I'll just have to be more careful from now on. It's going to take me even longer to find out what those are if I'm not." Her curiosity was already driving her crazy. Shaw had overtaken her after that. (15 steps.)

Shaw came even with someone else who had decided to brave the treacherous building. "Oh, sorry. Didn't mean t'scare you. I'm Shaw." He waited for her to draw even with him, watching her carefully. "Whoa now, don't go too fast there..." He caught up to her again, walking where she had walked.
