Jay says something to Kitara before he turns to the bushes nearby.
"Jay!" she calls out, too late to stop him from turning back to his bluejay self in a flash.
The elf sighs with regret before the bluejay comes back to her left shoulder.

"Why did you try to stop him?" Darian asks, confused by his cousin's actions, "I'm sure he felt it was time to return to his bluejay form."

His cousin purses her lips, not knowing what to say though she'd be telling her cousin. She turns around and, picking up her quiver, starts walking towards the village again.

Darian follows close behind, motioning to Lael to follow.
(OOC:We should wait for Hydra.)

Lael follows, keeping her hand over her nose so she won't have to smell the dead bodies. The smell is worse than the way it looks for her.
She doesn't like what she's been hearing, especially about the cloaked man. When he went into the forest, she thinks, he was coming my way. Did he know I was there? Or was it just a coencidence? She puts that thought out of her mind and studies her two compainions, silently checking with her eyes to make sure they aren't injured.

The navy-blue haired female elf realizes she still has her sword out znd that blood is on it. She steps to the side of the road and, finding soft ground, sticks her sword in. She takes it out, clean from the red matter, and puts it in it's sheath at her side. She also realizes that she has the sword that Jay used in her hands.
She excuses herself for a second, bending down over a soldier to take a sheath for it. She takes one and, cleaning the sword in like manner, puts the sword away as she clips the sheath to her belt.
After a second, she turns to her cousin, "Hey, should we see if we can find anything valuable among them?"

She pauses, turning to Lael, "We're fine, Lael."
Jay shakes his head, flitting to hover by her side. She shooes him away, not wanting to think of the cut she received on her side. After such a long time with chainmail and never having problems, she had gotten rid of it, only to receive a wound today.
The wound is still bleeding steadily, however. She holds her arm to her side, trying to stealthily hide it from her cousin and the albino.

Lael frowns and nodds only to see Kitara put her hand to her side. She looks wondering why and notices the wound.
"You are not okay!" she cries. Picking her way through the bodies to Kitara she carefully removes the elf's hand. "We need to get this treated. The wound's not deep. It shouldn't get infected if it's cleansed and bandaged properly."

The elvish lady winces when the albino takes a look at her wound. She shakes her head as she pulls away.
"No," she says, "I'm fine. Really."
She bends down and picks up a bag of gold from a soldier. She starts to walk to another shoulder when a migraine hits her. She groans and falls to her knees, her wound bleeding in beat with her pounding head. Jay flies over to her right before she collapses slightly, falling onto the ground.
((Ooc: Updated Kitara's profile a bit. See under her "Other Tidbits to Know" area to see more about this migraine issue.))

Darian curses, he had recieved no wounds but he had been unable to prevent his cousin from recieving one. He notices that she drops to her knees. Another migraine. Kitara suffered them from time to time, it could slow their travel down slightly. That cloaked man knew where they were, and probably knew Lael was with them. Darian did not know what that man's interest in Lael had been. She was the right age for the convetional bandit use for women, but they would probably think she would be too weak to withstand it, or cursed. These were common misconceptions the bandits in this area had of albinos. From now on his main objective would have to be making sure they did not capture Lael, or Kitara.

The bluejay lands by the elvish woman and whistles to her. However, Elvini, collapsed on the ground, does not respond. He then flits to Darian and, knowing he won't be able to talk to the elf, grabs his sleeve before trying to get him over by the blue-haired elvish lady.
Though Darian won't be able to understand him, he whistles, "Kitara's hurt. She needs help."

Lael, although not understanding the blue jay, sences what he has to say. She goes to Kitara and carefully takes her away from the bodies. Sitting her down she says, "You are not okay. We're taking care of this right now." Not knowing about Kitara's migrane problem she thinks that it is her wound that is causing the problems. She carefully looks at it.
"It's not to deep. And it's a clean cut. If we clean and bandage it properly it shouldn't get infected." She looks at Darian and says while getting out her supplies, "Do you know if there's a lake or a stream or something anywhere near here? We need to boil water as soon as possible."

"As a matter of fact there is," Darian replies. He did not want to deviate from his self-assigned mission but it would be harder if Kitara's wound became infected. "If you give me something to get the water with I can be there and back in a few minutes." He did not know if Lael could, but he could hear the gurgling of the stream from where he stood.

Jay chirps up, spying a bucket with one of the soldiers who had obviously been the band's cook. He flies to the bushes again, changing to his elvish-humanoid form. He comes back and picks up the bucket. He hands the bucket to Darian then points towards the spring as he kneels down by Kitara. He gently lays her head on his lap, smoothing the navy-blue hair out of her eyes.
