"erp.." pictures, time to make a quick exit. She couldn't stand camera flashes. With a careful nod, she made her escape, hurrying over to see what the commotion around the caged normie was all about.

Marceline LaGhede

Rorrim Rory Bludworth

Taking off from Glen's crowd, he made his way to his beasties Marceline and Rorrim. He smiled and hugged them both as if they were his own brother and sister.

"Now, you know that I'd never join a circus because a dispute, right?" He said, putting his hands in his pockets awkwardly. "In which, I'm sorry about."

Dashner nodded with an apologetic look, before turning to Rorrim. "And I'm sorry for upsetting you too."

Dashner put his arms around them both and pulled them in for a group hug, similar to Hellene, Draconia, and Glen's hug.

With no other options, the normie police hitched up Farnum's cage to one of their cars and drove him out of the Cirque Sinistaire grounds, shaking the cage and screaming incoherently.

"Goodness, what an unpleasant individual." Draconia brushed dirt off of her circus outfit as she, Glen and Hellene joined up with Wyvernia, who was instructing her cameraman to prepare to start recording.

"Wyvvie, what will happen to the circus now?" Draconia asked her sister.

"Well, like I said, Farnum never paid any of the taxes or any of the permits to build a circus here, so I suppose they'll wind up closing it and tearing it down. The Cirque Sinistaire will never see the light of day or the dark of night."

"I suppose I should feel good about that, but still...something keeps nagging me in the back of my head." Draconia tapped her forehead, trying to think of what was bothering her. "Why do I feel like things aren't completely wrapped up yet?"

As they strolled away from Wyvernia beginning to broadcast her special report about the Cirque Sinistaire Scandal, Glen happened to glance outside of the Cirque's giant wooden gate as Farnum was driven away.

"Hey Draconia?"

"Yes, Glen?" Draconia replied, still straining to remember what the issue bothering her might be.

"When was the Circus's grand opening again?"

"Well, it was supposed to be today," Draconia replied. "But I suppose that can't really happen now."

"Really?" Glen asked. "Because I don't think anyone told THEM!"

Draconia turned to see what Glen was pointing at, and gasped!

There, standing in line to enter the Cirque Sinistaire Grand Opening, were several hundred monsters! Monsters of all kinds, large and small were there, waiting. Draconia saw Frankie Stein and Jackson Jekyll near the front of the line, and further back she saw Manny Taur and Heath Burns. Even the Headless Headmistress seemed to be standing in the line...it looked like nearly every monster in New Salem had arrived for the Grand Opening!

"Oh, NO!" Draconia groaned. "What do we do NOW?!"

Glen leaned over to look past Draconia and whistled at the sight of so many monsters waiting to get in to see the circus. Monsters of all ages. Young and old.

Glen stood back and thought for a second, then a B-I-G smile crossed his face and he turned to Draconia.

"I have an ideaaaaa!"

He pointed his iCoffin at himself and in an instant, his 'snoopin' clothes' morphed into a circus ringmaster's outfit!

He looked down at himself to inspect his new attire, then looked at 'his Drakie' and waggled his eyebrows.

Ronan watched Farnum driven away, though he felt like justice really hadn't been served here. Taxes? Well, at least they wouldn't be seeing him OR that foul swamp witch for quite some time.

His eyes widened at the crowd gathering for the grand opening, a deep frown forming. He glanced to Doriana, then to Glen who'd apparently proclaimed himself ring master. "Well.. I suppose we DID go to all that trouble perfecting our acts..." He sounded uncertain.

Gryff N

Lin gasped and grabbed Gryff's arm, tugging on it for attention.

"Gryff! You could do your Cirque de Soulless routine! Remember? The one you were doing in the Lair when you thought you were by yourself and didn't know Atomica and I were watching?"

Marceline LaGhede

Fanatical Friend

Marceline's eyes stung, presumably an after-effect of Mezmer's spell wearing off; she shook her head a few times until it subsided. Beginning to feel like her old self again, little by little, she smiled at her two beasties.

"Well, this was an adventure and all, but I'm just glad things are gonna be back t'normal. Right, boos?" She smiled at Dashner, then at Rorrim, before breaking from Dashner's headlock-hug.

"Shall I get us some popscorn?" Marceline, still decked out in her fortune teller ensemble, hitched up her skirt and skipped off to the snack stand.

"I guess the show must go on..." Rory couldn't help but crack a grin as all of his friends began to prepare to put on what would be Cirque Sinistaire's first, last and only performance ever.

"Gee, Rory, isn't there something you want to do?" Draconia asked him as she straightened her tiara. "You could join Hellene and I on the trapezes!"

"Yikes! No, thanks, I've seen enough airtime to last me today...or maybe an unlifetime." Rory watched Draconia and Hellene stroll off to the Big Top, Marceline and Dashner go to the snack stand, and one by one everyone ran to a spot in the circus to put on a show.

"Maladies and Gentlemansters! Boos and Ghouls of all ages!" He heard Glen shout out as the doors swung open and all of the spooktators filed in. "Prepare your eyes to see the freakiest, most fab show on Earth!...."

Rory strolled away from the pomp and circumstance a bit, putting his hands in his pockets. Being freed from that cramped crystal prison made him appreciate how great it was to just be outdoors.

"Rorrim!" A familiar voice gave Rory pause, and he spun around.

"Mother!" Bloody Mary herself was exiting Bartleby Farnum's office tent. She ran up to her son and gave him a big, gentle hug.

"I was so worried, never do that AGAIN, you can't believe what we've been through trying to find you-" She talked on and on, the words just spilling out as Rory squirmed in her embrace.

"I can hexplain-" He tried to begin, but he was cut off by the sight of two more witches emerging from the tent. It was Ms. Da West, Glen's mother, and Glinda, his aunt. Rory was stunned into silence seeing the three witches together.

"No need for hexplanations, Rorrim. As soon as Glen began his duel with that old hag, every witches magical senses lit up. I think we can all figure out what happened here." Ms. Da West informed him in her grand manner. Rory gulped and nodded. Her manner softened, and she even cracked the tiniest of smiles. "I would dare say even, that some good will come out of this event."

"Yes, maybe..." Bloody Mary nodded, finally releasing Rory from her grip. "And a a LOT of righteous retribution."

But before Rory could ask what that meant, his mother led him back over to Farnum's tent. Rory understood now; his mother had portaled the three witches in using Farnum's mirror. And now, it was time to go home for him.

"Come along, Rorrim. We have many things to discuss."

"Y-yes, mother." Rory replied. So he would be watching the Cirque performance from the mirrorverse, just like before.

"We'll start with a discussion about your first day of enrollment at Monster High." His mother informed him as she reflected into the mirror. Rory's eyes got wide and his jaw dropped, just before he was whisked away.
