"Oh, well then, pleasure to meet you Akeem, I am Agatha Lancaster! Human mechanist of the military..."

She shifted her hands from folding across her chest to be placed in a pair of neat pockets. She sat upon a large stone and pulled out a small stylus, pressing it against her wrist. Sparks danced against her arm as she was busy tinkering with the tension on the arm's movement to and fro. She was simply making some minor adjustments. From closer inspection, Agatha was a very fit female, her curves were in the right places, her skin was fair, and she was quite busty in comparison to most female humans of her age. She also had a particular scent to her that seemed to be a cross between gentle rich chocolate and soft vanilla, she enjoyed both very much. Agatha would cease fixing on her arm and had the hand spin around, the fingers extend and retract, and then finally, the hand would open up and then close. The young human would bring herself to a relaxed and seated position on the stone, crossing one leg over the other and leaning a bit back.

"So, Akeem, tell me about yourself,"

                                                                          she gives a soft smirk.

                                                                          1x4x0x0xxx|xxx1x4x0x0

A mystical aura enveloped Akeem as a wonderful transformation took place. Surprisingly it drew very little attention. Regardless, Akeem was beautiful now. He nodded his head when Agatha spoke, marking her words down in his memory. Human, Agatha, mechanist... Akeem grunted in response and walked over when she sat on a stone. She was tinkering with her arm and Akeem could not help but reflexively squeeze his hand. He wondered what it was like having bionic limbs. Akeem would never know though, nor did he care to learn firsthand. His body was perfect as it was. From his vantage point Akeem could not help but catch a glimpse down the woman's shirt. He caught himself in the act and mentally slapped himself. Things with his first wife had not gone so well, in fact they had gone so horribly Akeem vowed to change his ways. He would be nothing but utterly respectful to women, and looking at breasts when they had not allowed it certainly did not fall under that behavior. He cleared his throat before speaking and told her a short synopsis of himself. "I am a Djinn, a warrior in both theory and practice. My body is the weapon I choose to fight with." Akeem said, feeling a tad poetic. He could not help it around women, especially attractive ones like this. He wanted to impress them in anyway he could. "I have only been in Aramil for under a year; I come from a land that no longer exists. The King promoted me, and then everyone disappeared." His words were filled with disappointment. Being a warrior was everything to a Djinn, if there was nothing to fight or defend what was his purpose? "Regardless, I come here everyday and train. I take care of the facility and have been waiting for others to show up. I am glad you arrived." He said, knowing his words could be taken in a multitude of ways. His expression would betray no wants nor actual meanings; he had a soldiers face.

"You were left all alone, no one to spend time with you while you were here training. I'm sorry to hear that. No one should ever have to go through that...I never knew that this place would get so empty. It must've been hard."

She said in a soft and caring voice, stepping off of her rock and moving close to Akeem, placing a gentle hand against his shoulder, more of a friend to a friend rather than a different type of gesture. The hand then slowly glided down his arm, smiling a little as she took a look at his transformed body,

"Hmmmmm, your body is the weapon? Seems like you and I have something in common. I guess you could also say that you're the first Djinn I've ever seen in my entire lifetime, I feel a tad honored."

                                                                          1x4x0x0xxx|xxx1x4x0x0

A flash of pain shot through Akeem's face. He had been alone for a very long time. It was near one hundred years he spent alone with nothing but his grief and shame to accompany him. He had been the cause of death for his family; a terrible curse placed on him for his mistakes. Being alone was the one thing Akeem never wanted to go through again. He would face oceans of monsters before facing his past. For a moment the tender side of Akeem showed; he grimaced and turned his head away, shoulders slumping in momentary defeat. The kind gesture from Agatha had awakened something that had remained asleep even after Akeem himself awoke from his accursed slumber. The touch of a woman, their warm and delicate embrace.

Akeem realized he was acting weak, and immediately shoved those thoughts deep down into his body. As Agatha took keen observations on his body Akeem stood tall and proud. Pride surged through him at her comment. Even if he chose to move away from the Djinn reservation he still considered himself one of them. The great name of Makel had not yet faded, and Akeem would carry its glory until his last breath. "In my culture all Djinn are men, and all men are fighters. We are cultivated into brutal warriors, tacticians, and loyal soldiers." Akeem spoke on his culture, conveniently leaving out the patriarchal sexism bit of them. Women were seen as birthing creatures and nothing more. Akeem once had that view, but after losing his children and family to his selfishness that was no longer. There were still bits of that ideology he retained; mostly his belief in his god. "I have never seen someone with these...augments." Akeem said, rolling the word deformities around in his head before deciding that probably was not the best thing to say. He reached down to where Agatha was holding his arm and placed his large hand over it. The metal felt cool in his hand, giving him a slight shiver. "How did you get them?" Akeem inquired, feeling genuine curiosity on the matter. Was this done purposefully, or was it a result of a mishap?

I had lost my arms and legs to the werewolves in Nocturne as a pack of them almost killed me by ambush. I fled and went to Kranila in order to find someone who could fix the wounds, but alas, I had lost all functionality in my limbs and too much blood. Luckily, an old lady cleric was able to put the parts on me with the assistance of an old man Mechanist who lived there too, along with modifying the parts to peak performance. Though, I miss my hands, the feeling of skin...it's a joy that's absent to me now. Same goes for my legs. I don't even think I'm human anymore, more like a monster..."

She glanced down and chuckled with an empty smile that weakened with every extra word she said, her voice cracking from sadness,

"...I became the very thing that I fear."

Akeem frowned as Agatha told her tail. He released her hand, regretting having asked. He had barely known her for ten minutes and he already brought her pain. A bubble of anger welled up inside of him. Akeem absolutely loathed beings who preyed on the weak. Nocturne was filled to the brim with twisted monsters, those who willingly harmed others who could not protect themselves. There was no law and order, no justice. Anyone could take what they want if they had the power. Akeem loathed disorder and chaos. He turned and faced her completely, his hands now placed on her shoulders. With intensity Akeem gazed into Agatha's eyes. "You are apart of Aramil's army now. Under my watch, nothing will harm you like that again." He vowed, swearing to Zacariah above to honor his promise. The fierceness left his voice for a moment, and instead was replaced with a soft tone. Akeem spoke once more, dropping his hands and talking just above a whisper. "Arms and legs do not make you a monster. Actions do. I am more a monster than you, Agatha." He said vaguely, eyes distant and looking to the past. The moment passed, and the warrior was in place once more. "I know this will not bring your body back to you, but do you want to take revenge? There have been sightings of beastial creatures outside our walls. I have a culling in mind to deal with them." Akeem said with a certain tinge of joy to his words. Fighting made him feel glorious, especially winning.

Sure, she could lay waste to a whole civilization of werewolves, but what good would revenge do at this point?

"Revenge is a never ending curse, I could cripple their numbers and damage the race's morale, but they would only keep coming. They'd retaliate until one side gives out, I would probably be killed if the cycle were go onward. It's like you said, doing it wouldn't bring my limbs back but what about other humans? To fight for vengeance is one thing, but to fight in order to prevent it from happening to another is a different story..."

The jets that hovered overhead opened up and the two lumps of metal unfolded to reveal machines, one larger than the other, Perseo and Poutemkihn,

                                                                          "...count me in."

Akeem watched Agatha's reaction carefully. She was still afraid of them. He understood the situation differently. If left to their own devices the wolves and beasts of the world would overrun the civilized beings. They needed to be stopped before that. Even if there was death on both sides it was something that had to be done. When Agatha's machines popped out and she agreed, Akeem smiled. "I have just the place in mind." Akeem turned on his heels and first fitted himself with his gauntlets and shin guards. It was time to turn the heat up and lay waste to these monsters. With that he walked side by side with Agatha, heading out of the training zone and to the gates.

Sweet tunes filled the training Training Zone as the puttering sound of a failing engine echoed lightly. Through the darkness of the currently closed building bright headlights flashed. A righteous van rolled on by, its wild colors reflecting the being that it was. "Something's wrong when you regret the things that haven't happened yet." A woman's voice sang out from the van as it began to turn in a slow circle, keeping up with the tempo of the music. More slow circles were made as the van just kept on going, seeming to have no real direction. As it moved it suddenly began to change. It faded from sight and in its place appeared a lady. She had long straight brown hair with a headband holding it in place. The woman had a loose, colorful shirt on and plain brown pants. Beat up boots covered her feet and bracelets decorated her wrists. She had a pretty easy going feeling about her.

The girl kept on humming her song and drummed against her thigh lightly as she walked across the training ground, heading to the lights. She flicked them like a bean and opened the front doors, taking in a breath of that sea air. River Song had been all around for she had been alive for a long time. Rather, she had been dead for a long time. After a particularly nasty car crash River found herself fused with her car, able to cleanly transform between a humanoid form and her wonderful van. That van had a lot of soul before; painted by every single person who sat on it and seeing more miles than actual roads. Now it had an actual soul; a spirit literally attached to it. When it happened River didn't question it at all. She accepted it as smoothly as she had driven right off the cliff. It really wasn't a big deal. In actuality River preferred being psuedo-dead; she never had to go to the bathroom anymore. On the downside there was no real reason to eat, though River liked to have the taste of things in her mouth just for kicks. Gas was never an issue either. She could go and go and go for as long as she wanted to. But all that traveling really did wear down a soul. River didn't have a place to call home other than her van. She decided that Aramil was a good a place as any to take a pit stop at. The thing is a few years had already passed and she had yet to leave. River found a cause to get behind and since time really was not important to her she figured what the hell. So here was where she found herself, working on battle skills to add to her repertoire. Problem was no one was actually around. "Never want to get to working and when I do; No one's here." River smiled and shook her head, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a joint. It's not like she'd get in trouble anyway. She lit it up and decided to chill out on one of the many mats laying around, very slowly satiating her habit.

There was no such thing as too high. As the girl made her way to the top of one of the tallest buildings with just one jump, she kneeled down, tucked in her wings, and flung herself straight up into the air. She just kept rising and rising, higher and higher up into the air. Her eyes were closed completely, no such thing as fear. She penetrated a layer of clouds as she rose. At the height of her leap, the woman opened her eyes to see the sun clear as day. It was as beautiful a sight as any she'd seen in a while. The color of the bright life giver matched by a fire burning in her eyes. She began to fall back towards the ground suddenly, quickly. She folded her body and turned into a dive. She reached near terminal velocity before the massive, somewhat fast moving beast seemed to snatch her out of the air.

"Good catch boy!" she called out. She was holding onto Intet, her dragon, with one hand as the massive dragon sored just above the veil of clouds. He turned his body, one of his large wings penetrating that layer of pillowy softness, and suddenly took a dive as well. The dragon opened his wings again and flapped the mighty tools of gravity defiance, getting a giggle out of his rider as she was jerked a bit. She jumped up into the air again, opening her wings and carrying the momentum, twirling through the air and then landing on Intet's back again. This time she really leaped, flying clear across the city easily, she would come flying into an open window into the building and landing with a crash straight in the middle of a room, thankfully not crushing anyone but landing close to a woman. She stood up and brushed her body off, glad for the soft landing skill and her amazing abilities. She looked around and frowned. The building was closed... Oh... was the only thing Maria said as she stood there, thinking she was alone.

The sound of a window smashing had River flincing in surprise, now juggling her joint between her hands. "What the balls?!" She turned her head and eyed her doobie suspiciously, wondering just what the hell she was smoking. There was a lady sitting not far off from her, apparently the one who had come straight through the window. She was partially covered by a robe and sported what looked like a bitching set of wings. "Far out." River said softly before taking another puff, this time holding it in deeply and just staring at the lady. She looked up to the window once more and shrugged her shoulders. It wasn't as if this world wasn't full of weirder things. River herself was actually a ghost who just so happened to be a car as well. "Nice entrance, but you got a bit of-" River reached over to Maria and pulled out some shards of glass from her hair, dusting off her shoulder afterward. "My name is River, River Song. I use the front door but sometimes I like the window as well." River joked lightly, turning her head back to the entrance of the training zone.

She had come here to work so now was as good a time as any to get started. The ghostly girl squeezed out her joint and pocketed it, choosing to work with her two pistols Shock and Awe. River flipped her pistols around her hands a few times just to get a good feel for them. "Whoops!" One of the pistols caught on her hand and fired off into the distance, luckily hitting a wall and not a person. The gun clattered to the floor as River reached up and pushed her hair out of her face, an easy smile spreading slowly. She bent over from the waist and casually picked up her gun as if nothing had actually happened. This time when River lifted up her gun her energy flooded it. Hot pink swirls rolled down her arm and entered the gun, changing the bullet in the chamber. She lengthened it and sharpened the tip. As a gunslinger one could easily control the shape of their bullets. Hollow points for messing up the insides, arrow tips for digging right in and causing pain; there were a load of methods to use. This one was the arrowhead. While the hit box was barely increase the penetration power was increased two fold. River aimed at the same wall she accidentally shot and this time purposefully fired into it. Her bullet slamed into the wall with an audible 'thunk'. From here she could see it went even deeper than the last one, meaning her attempt at this trick was successful.

"Have you ever wondered," River began as she walked in a small circle, checking her pistols once more before readying up another shot. She faced away from her target; a dummy painted with targets on his head and chest. "Why they call them gunslingers?" River turned on her heels and fired a shot early, slowing the bullet down so that it was aimed exactly where she wanted it to be. She stood perfectly still after shooting, frowning at her shot being off her mark. It hit the cheek of the dummy instead of right in the forehead. Maybe her perfect timing wasn't so perfect yet. "I mean quick drawing like those cow guys really is a thing of the past, and we don't actually sling our guns. We're not sword wielders." River held her gun up lazily, letting the tip point down a bit. She lined up her next shot and squeezed the trigger, biting her bottom lip and raising an eyebrow. A bow being held by a practice dummy suddenly exploded and broke in two.

River was still stuck on this whole gunslinger thing. "Why not like Bandoliers? Or maybe Sharpshooters. Yeah, that has a nice ring to it." She took her left pistol and tossed it into the air, eyeing it with just a glance. Without turning the girl pointed her right gun over her shoulder and fired, making her mark. The bullet hit the dummy far off behind her spot on. That trick was just a cute gimmick, in battle it was a great way to get one of your weapons knocked away in the blink of an eye. River snatched Shock out of the air and rapidly aimed both guns. Those pink swirls appeared again and this time entered both guns. River pulled the triggers, one right before the other. The bullets met with a popping sound and arced away from each other, each making their targets in opposite directions.

Maria wasn't surprised by the girl's frantic moment of surprise. A dragon lady had just flew into the closed training grounds beside her. Just to show off a bit, the dragon lady unfurled her wings fully to let the rest of the glass fall off of them when the woman picked the glass out of her hair. She'd have to be sure to pay for that window. She folded down her wings and hailed the woman with a slight bow. They call me Maria Kal. she'd say as she walked towards the weapon rack. That's when she heard the false fire. She ducked and turned, glad she wasn't being attacked. She laughed a little at the girl and then began looking for a weapon to begin training with. She grabbed a shield first, and then decided to go for a spear as her second. A puff of smoke came out of her nose as she began her training as well.

She shrugged as the girl asked her question at first, focusing energy on her shield, fastened to her arm, and then thrusted it forward. A light bright enough to blind even the most stubborn of enemies shined out and Maria smiled. She took a step back and looked at the girl. I never understood why we're dragoons and not just called dragon riders. she countered standing back to back with her. She then popped forward again, bashing an imaginary enemy with that same blinding light shining forward and also blinding him.

Following that, she aimed her spear forward behind her shield, her stance low, and began again focusing energy into the spear. She gave a powerful thrsut, the sound of her armor and cloak just as loud as her grunt and the air rushing away from the spear making it almost drill like. As her stab reached it's apex, it extended a full double it's usual length. She retracted the weapon and then pushed her shield up as if to defend against an incoming attack. She gave a few stabs and masterful slices while keeping her shield over the majority of her body. This was one of her favorite ways to fight, using the shield and spear was indeed a scary combo.

She set up a dummy as the woman went on about the naming of her style of fighting and Maria couldn't help but laugh and go along with it. I think they just thought of something that made you all sound flashy and cool. Because really your almost as fast as tricksters and pull off some crazy s**t with those guns. She threw her spear just short of the dummy, landing straight upwards, as she ran forward and leaped, usingt he spear to balance her body and landing an even kick at it's chest, sending it flying back into a wall, where it imploded. She skidded to a stop, and pulled up her spear, proud of her work. Maybe the could call you Trickshots too. she offered. About then, Intet landed outside and sat beside the building, his eye in the window looking in on the training.

Since training posts are oppressively boring and dull, this one would be as such. The next dummy was set up, and the girl bashed it with her shield. Following that, she kicked it backwards. The dummy flew backwards off of it's feet and fell to the ground. This skill would be about three thousand times more epic if she were able to kick the dummy off of a building, but in all honesty other than that it was just pretty disrespectful.

Now the skill following this one was an impressive one. She got into her preferred stance, the large round shield strapped to her arm between her body and the mock enemy she saw in her head. Energy in her body flowed to her feet and she took a step. There was a small rocking in the entire academy. She took another step, increasing the magnitude. The third step made the entire building rock a slight bit. Intet stood up suddenly as she took the fourth step. This march was causing the entire academy to rock violently now. Thankfully the foundation of the building was good enough to resist falling on top of them or that could have been bad.

With the shield still buckled around her arm, she moved on to the spear techniques of a different style, one that required nothing but a spear in hand. She spun the staff around masterfully, giving some jabs and slashes at the dummy before really getting down to business. She powered her arms as she gave a stab at a dummy, piercing directly through it mercilessly. She pulled it free and then did it again. The pure strength of the stab was enough to knock a couple of other dummies right onto the ground.

She knocked a few more over and then moved onto another technique. She planted her foot and held the spear at an angle. She gave a quick spin, pivoting on her back foot while twirling the entire weapon in a circle. She made a small tornado around her as she knocked away a pair of mannequins. She spun the weapon with skill as she did, much to the happiness of Intet who puffed smoke out of his nose and curled his tail around his body. He stood up slightly and breathed a flame on the ground, scorching it and warming his seat. He closed his eyes and gave a mighty sigh, telepathically talking to his rider, telling her he was bored with watching her. Shut your damn mouth. That would seem to come out of nowhere to River, who would no doubt have heard her, but had no way of hearing the dragon.

She approached another dummy with her polearm firmly in hand, and dashed forward , stopping a step out of range and spinning the spear so that the blunt end was on the rise before she stepped forward, carrying the full weight of the attack into the head of the dummy. Once it had been knocked into the air she roared as the spear tip came full circle and she jabbed it upwards, stabbing the dummy three times rapidly, rending it and leaving stuffing all over the floor. She whistled at that one. Her progression speed was simply staggering.

Following that one, she took a few steps away from where she was standing and focused her energy into the tip of the spear. She gave a solid stab towards a rack of dummies. A gust of wind soared forward, barely visible besides the debris and dust that pushed away from it as if frightened. The poor mannequin was blasted apart and then the pieces dashed against the wall. As she pulled back her spear she lifted it to a standing position and wiped sweat from her brow. She rested only for a second, and then got right back into the motions

Footsteps like hers range out like bullets as she charged a dummy with a battle cry loud enough to wake up sleeping birds outside. She stopped a few inches short, energy powering her feet as she thrusted her weapon forward, just out of range. She, however, pushed forward and blew her target back with a burst of energy that momentarily made her own spear and body vibrate. She stepped backwards, forming her stance again, practicing quickly snapping back into it would help her immensely in an actual combat situation.

Now she moved away from the other girl so she could work on another one of her Mer abilities. She focused hard, as it normally took for her, and a ball of water, which seemed to be out of character for her based on what most people had seen of her, began to form all around her. It was pure and beautiful, free entirely of any impurities. She formed it carefully, Intet lifting his head to watch it happen. She inhaled, causing it to stop swirling around, and then closed her fists. Pure. Perfection. The ball hovered just before the girl and she smiled into her faint reflection in it. A few branching arcs went out in all the sides, balls of water and ice suddenly whipping all over the place. She freed herself with a single swing of her hands but continued manipulating the water around her body masterfully.

She then Condensed the water into a trident, which she then stabbed into the ground. Water slowly began rushing towards it. WIth nothing else really to the technique, she jumped up and out the window without a second glance to the girl, and onto Intet, who got a running start and then took off into the air.

She then began to focus on ebbing the water she had summoned and started to intone a spell that not a lot of Mer knew. She had somehwo through basic b***h-ness acquired a prisoner on death row and then cut him with a knife. Then it was on to the hard part.

She wiped said blood down her face, the prisoner looking on in shock as she made a seeming mask with his blood and then held the ceremonial blade in the air. Suddenly, as her energy took hold of him, he realized keenly that he had absolutely no power here.

She moved an arm, he moved an arm. This was absolute blood bending at it's best. She excersized this evil power over him, making him slash open his arms with his own nails. However, she realized keenly that her own arm had gotten harmful cuts on her arm as well. She made him punch himself, and she felt the pain a little.

Finally as she released him, he threw up all over the floor and she wiped the blood away. Since a post is only forty five words, she finished this one up with a haiku. Haiku's are fun stuff, but sometimes they don't make sense. Refrigerator.

As per the norm, the girl had to make a flashy entrance to the academy. She came flying in another OPEN window and slid to a stop inside of it. She was a minute early, just barely on time in her own mind. Intet landed on top of the building this time, simply too large to fit inside the building anymore. As the structure shook, a group of heads turned to see the girl as she strided forward. All eyes were on her, the new girl. The one who had been added to their roster nearly last minute before departure. The one who West specifically had added. She slowed up a bit as she approached, meeting ten eyes, each pair unique in their own way. None showing any disdain or reproach but none particularly inviting.

She reached them and they all turned to form a sort of line with Haman, the Djinn, in the center of it. He stepped forward, a smile on his face as he held out a hand. "YO!" he began following the handshake with a light bow. "I'm Haman, the Djinn Expert West no doubt told you about." Maria smiled and returned his greeting in kind as she analyzed him. He had a voice like molten gold, beautiful but harboring unseen dangers, laced with an accent... maybe demonica? He wore his jet black hair down his back and an open shirt. He was a good looking guy, muscular and strong, and his eyes betrayed that he wasn't as young as he looked. The only weapons she spotted on him were his hands, which were scarred from a lifetime of hand to hand combat. She feared what his shins must look like. He confirmed her suspicions as he went on about his qualifications, as if reaffirming he was qualified to lead. "I've studied Kaminae for quite some time. Decades in fact. I am, somewhat of an expert on the subject in fact, but her true weaknesses lie in the pages we search for. As a berserker, I find myself in need of company that can aid me in combat and the pursuit of knowledge." Maria nodded as he went about introducing his team. He started closest to his left. "This is Karmina." The short dark elf looked to Maria with a nod. She was wearing a hood connected to a cloak around her body. On her back was a wooden staff, a black crystal at it's head. "She's a mage and doesn't speak often, but she is very powerful, and very smart. Maria bowed respectfully to her.

"Besider her on the end is Liam." he said. Liam raised a hand to wave, a very large, muscular arm with a sleeve tattoo. His face was rough, but smiling and his cavalier haircut served to make him seem both intimidating and comical. "Yo!" he exclaimed. "That'd be me! Knight Dreadnougt extraordinaire. Glad to have you joining us. We're gonna make that oceanic b***h bleed!" Following that he gave a hearty laugh that she could only help but laugh at. Haman seemed to be fond of him in a brotherly way already even though they hadn't set out yet. On the other side of Haman was a kiranu, clear from her ears and tail. She spoke up without waiting on Haman calling on her.

"The names Reeanah, the Kiranu gawd!" she said. She was scantily clad in a white bra and white leggings, showing off her shape and fair skin. Her blue hair flowed much like Marias, which she liked actually. She wasn't strictly straight, so she felt her eyes wandering over her entire body. Maria couldn't afford to be distracted, however, so she quickly moved on and looked at the last man, expecting him to speak quickly. He didn't look impressed by Maria. In fact he seemed less than impressed, bored even. He sighed and unfolded his long, skinny arms. He spoke plainly, dull and monotone. "My name is Lucious. I am a ghost car trickster." Haman waited for a moment, allowing everyone present to get anything else out before giving Maria the floor.

She adjusted her hair slightly nervously and exhaled deeply. "My name is Maria Kal, and I am a mer." Everyone fell silent. "Kaminae drove me away from my home after having killed not only my parents, but everyone in the village. We had no chance against her, but she slaughtered us with the full brunt of her rage nonetheless. I barely got away with a school of minnows and a small baby lizard, which ended up growing into a dragon. Naturally, I am a dragoon, and Intet is my seashell bond. Every move I make, every single mission I have ever gone on and technique learned has been in pursuit of killing her. Many don't think it can be done, but you all being here clearly says that you believe. That said, I look forward to working with you all." Haman smiled, as they each had. That pretty much summoned up everything he was about to say. "Welp. There it is guys. I guess we should get going. We shall begin our search in Nocturne. I got a lead there, and it seems to be our strongest one." he said switching into all business mode as he lead the group out. Once outside Maria found Intet already standing outside prepared to leave.

"This here is Intet, my little baby lizard." Intet puffed smoke out of his large nostrils and growled at her, which she responded to by laughing. He had a saddle on his back, large enough to happily accomodate the entire group. "Care to ride in style?" she asked. Lucious scoffed and fell over, turning into a rather large SUV. Maria was sad that he didn't seem interested, but she didn't mull over it. In a radio like voice Lucious spoke up. "I'd rather stick to the ground. I can carry our weapons, though. Just load them all in." he said as his engine revved. Maria took her spear, almost harphoon like in that it sort of had a long blade attached to the spear along with a pair of broadswords and loaded them on a shield and sword. When the door closed,
he revved his engine, spun his tires, and burned out of ther getting a headstart.

"Don't mind him, it takes time for him to warm up to people." Reeanah said with a reassuring pat on the back. She, along with the others, climbed small ropes onto the back of the dragon, followed by her simply jumping to her seat at the front. Everyone was comfortable in their spaces, and Maria turned around with a smile. "Hold on tightly now." she said. And then they were off, a single jump sending them high into the air, and the huge wings flapping to get them truly going on their way towards Nocturne.

Rank: Novice | Talent: N/A | Weapons: Royal Sword
Current Weapon(s) in use: Royal Sword

Energy: 550/550 | Strength: 9 | Speed: 7

-----------------------------------------"I don't want to know what they did.."----------------------------------------

Shura sighed as she entered the Helicanth Academy and walked straight to the training zone. She needed to learn more than what she already knew so that she could defend herself and others on her travels. 'First things first.. Need some more class skills..' Shura thought to herself as she picked up a book on weapons master skills, one on fire element skills, and one on the various weapon styles of Axiom. She easily moved her way to a section of the zone where she wouldn't bother anyone else training here, which just seemed to be a few students at the time. Having picked a few skills to learn Shura drew her sword from its sheath on her back and approached a training dummy.

Shura breathed outwards slowly as she moved into a basic stance with her sword infront of her. Then once she was ready she focused some more energy into her blade, then quickly turned the blade so the flat edge would hit her target and swung as hard as she could at the dummy. Upon contact the energy burst outwards and the dummy went flying off to the left about five feet before it fell over. 'wow... that may be handy in a pinch..' Shura thought as she moved onto the next skill she could learn.
[1/1 Empower D-rank, Learned]

After setting the dummy back up Shura returned to her basic stance and began to focus energy into her blade. This time though she added in her own fire elemental energy which made the blade glow a faint red color. 'Ok just remember, keep the energy focused and don't let it run wild. Fire is dangerous.' Shura mentally told herself.
[1/2]

Once she thought she had enough energy in her blade Shura took five steps backwards and went through a small breathing exercise in order to calm herself. 'Alright... now!' Shura thought as she made a quick slash downwards with her sword and watched as a wide crescent of fire launched outwards from her slash and hit the dummy burning it into a crisp along with cutting it in half.
[2/2 Infuse C-rank, Learned]

The last skill she wanted to learn at this time was one that Shura knew she might use a lot due to its practical usefulness. So she first set up a dummy then sheathed her sword and started to focus her energy into her hands. 'Alright its time to focus.. make sure to gather as much energy as you can seeing as you don't know what you will need to make..' Shura thought as she decided to move on to trying the skill.
[1/2]

'Alright, now start to give the energy shape..' She thought as the visible energy in her hand began to take the shape that she was picturing in her mind. It was a slow process but it soon became faster as suddenly an exact replica, although a bit transparent, of her sword was in her hand. She smiled happily as she swung the blade with ease. 'Ok, now time to see how it does.' Shura thought as she quickly moved forward and delivered three quick slashes to the dummy she set up. Shura gave a happy grin as she noticed the cut marks the blade had left. 'Well then lets try something different.' Shura thought as she first dismissed the sword then carefully molded a basic scythe into her hands. 'Wow, it really can make anything!' Shura thought happily as she smiled and dismissed the scythe.
[2/2 Phantom Blade C-rank, Learned]

At this point Shura sat down to rest on the floor and read through a book on elemental skills. She knew her element was fire since she was taught how to use it. So she looked into just the basic fire skills she could utilize. 'Wow, even the basic skills are really useful..' Shura thought as she read through them all.

Having regained her energy Shura stood up and stretched then prepped herself to learn some skills. For the first skill Shura focused her fire elemental energy into her fists and then molded it into the shape of daggers in her mind. She watched as the energy quickly took shape in her hands and soon enough there were a pair of twin flaming daggers in her hands. Shura smirked as she flipped them into a reverse grip then proceeded to slash the training dummy a few times before dismissing the daggers.
[1/1 Flame Dagger D-rank, Learned]

For the next skill Shura simply focused her elemental energy into her fists and feet. After a moment she got within a foot of the dummy and proceeded to punch and kick at it rapidly. At first nothing happened, but after a little bit Shura realized she didn't release any energy so she started to release it and was amazed that flame was being produced from every punch and kick she threw at the dummy. Before she could get tired though Shura stopped and cancelled the skill so that she could move on.
[1/1 Flame Punch/Kick learned]
