Definitely sounds like Jane Austen, and I know I'd love it.
I have a feeling I'll be able to relate to Anne.

I think I relate the anne the most of all of them, actually. It's just the way her life goes that I feel like I've kinda been through the same things, only not with guys. There are no guys in my life right now that would even entice me into marriage.

Like being kind of beaten down a lot by various things?
I'm sure he'll come along.
You could be at school and there's a substitute teacher for another class and he gets lost.
You could help him, and BAM, you hit it off and have found your husband.
It sounds like I'm writing fanfiction for you xD.

LOL - yeah that could happen. Maybe one day. I like your fanfiction for me. As long as i'm the heroine of my own story, i'm good!

And yeah, beaten down is a really good way of putting it, and Anne is always just so obedient and helpful. Those are the things she wants to be and she wants to see the good in people and not judge them because of their station. it's a major theme in the book and her father disapproves of her not acting like and Eliot. She is said to be without the Eliot Pride and the Eliot Countenance and for a lot of people in their social circle it's a big deal, but for others it's refreshing because the family really is very snobbish, and Anne isn't.

Of course you are!
The substitute is lost and you come in like the savior and all "I got this."

Sounds kind of like one of those people that will constantly get treated like crap and take it because 1)they don't have the courage to say anything or want to stir things up and 2)they try to give people the benefit of the doubt.
I get it though.
She sounds like another character I'll love.
She also kind of sounds like Jane herself to a certain extent.

I would totally be that guy too! heehee. I got this! heehee.

it really is true, I think Jane and Anne are very similar, only Jane gave Anne the happy ending she deserved. And in a way, Anne has a lot of self worth even when it seems like she doesn't. She sticks to her guns and in the even she ends up with the man she fell in love with and was persuaded not to marry when she was young, even though other men came into her path and she never married any of them because her she was being pushed toward them. I think that's one of the things that helps to persuade captain Wentworth to forgive her, the fact that he end up finding out that even through she was persuaded out of their engagement when they were still very young, she was courted by other men and turned them down. her youngest sister ends up married to the man that her family wanted her to marry. But Anne stays single people believe that she will become and old maid and fall into destitution, but it's because Anne loved Frederick and she always will.

Like she could live through Anne.
I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if Jane had more suitors that she turned down because she couldn't be with the man she loved.

She lived such a tragic life :/.
Makes me really sad when I think about it.
I wish I could've met her.
I wonder how many people in her stories were based on people she knew.

I think a lot of them were bits and pieces of the people that she new while others were meant to be so outlandish that you had to see the satire in them.

I agree.
She must've been so amused by the fools around her.

yeah, or the stories about their behaviour in the news papers because things like that are in all of them. disgrace was a big thing that they liked to write about and publish.

Yeah I remember things like that being put in her stories.
Like in Mansfield Park when they're all reading about people going to be married and divorced.
It was like their version of Facebook and Twitter and all that xD.

True that!

By the way, I watched a movie called Austenland last night and it was great.
It's about a woman that LOVES Jane Austen and she goes to a place that is all things Jane Austen and you can live like in those times.
Unfortunately, it isn't real, but I think it's every Jane fan's dream.
You should definitely see it.

The actress mentioned it on a talk show while promoting something else and I was like I NEED TO SEE THIS LIKE YESTERDAY OH LORDY LET ME SEE IT!
I love this movie so much now.
It makes me want to make this place exist for real.
Like I need to get rich and create it.
You could help me run it. ;3
