Kiera however was elsewhere already. She was talking to another leader although felt a little faint so she went out of the main room to catch a little air. That was when it hit her. ' "Mom, why do you hurt dad so much?" "You know darling there are other things I do than hurt him." "But that's all people care about." "... Unfortunately, yes. It's just how things are. The good things are never taken account of. You see honey, when you've lived a long life then there has to be something you hold on to, to be able to keep living. Your father was such for me. But the years have made me wicked." "Why don't you be kind?" ".... It's more complicated than that.." ' Kiera winced and clutched her head as she leaned against the wall. However a chill ran down her spine when the tune hit her ears. A tune which she had hoped was gone. She stumbled her way to the room, which was still locked, and carefully groped for the key she kept around her neck. The music didn't stop until she opened the door to see a shadowy figure playing the dusty out of tune piano. "...Who are you?"
Evelyn giggled a little. "You are Yokai. Munchkin is a name for small people like you and your sister." She glanced to Kyle. "And him, but only just." Kyle went to sit down and sat Evelin on his lap. "Hey, I got something to tell you." Evelin looked to Kyle with large eyes as she got comfortable. "I started at a human school this week." Evelin's eyes widened. "Was it awesome?!" Kyle smiled a little. "It's strange. And totally different." "Were there other Y... y-okai like you?" Kyle nodded. "Only a couple more. But no one knows I'm the leaders son yet. And I have to speak in Japanese all the time. But it's all right. Japan have accepted coexistence better than other countries. Especially since they found out their leader was a Yokai." Evelin nodded curiously although wasn't sure she knew all of the words he said.

*Shortstraw started looking for keria now that him and Eve were done talking and Eve was back over with the others, as she seemed to be going to join in on Hana's converse group in wonder what she was talking about.
Meanwhile Theador sat next to kyle as he ate and then looked up, "schol? I wonder if we have to go to a schol." He looked to Evelyn, "do we have to go to schol kitty?" He didn't even know what a school was actully. As he frowned, "what a schol anyways?" He sure was full of questions. But the food he had would keep him setaled for a while.

The figure looked up to Kiera and all she saw was a large white grin. It gave her more chills. "It's nice to see you again, Kiera." Kiera's eyes widened as the moonlight shone through the window at the movement of a cloud and the figure came into view. Kiera stumbled back a little against the side of the doorframe and clutched onto it for support. "You're looking ravishing this evening." The figure stood up. "Why, may I ask, did you not invite me to this get together of yours?" Another grin. Kiera was frozen in her place. "You... you're supposed to be dead.." She welled up. "NO!" She turned and fled, as memories flooded into her mind. She stumbled all the way back to the main room where she sobbed against the wall.
Kyle smiled to Theodore. "Schools are where kids go to learn about things. Although it's all pretty simple at the moment. I'm excelling in everything." Evelin stared at Kyle. "Learn what?" Kyle brought his finger to his lip in thought. "Hmmm.. Languages, Math, Science, History.. all kinds of things. It's to set us up so we know lots before we grow up." Evelyn looked back to them. "There aren't any schools near here that I know of. Although I could be mistaken. I'm not sure how your parents want to raise you. I suppose there's academies." Evelyn shuddered at the thought. The Yokai academy was where she met Amelie.

*Shortstraw spoted keria and quickly followed after her, "keria? You alright." He noticed her shaken up and took hold of her, already giving her a hug seein gher uppset. "Hey... hey calm down. Whats wrong?" He held her out so they were face to face, "Whats wrong?"
Eve chukkled as she overheard the conversation, "my Academy should be ready by the time you are old enough to attend." She crossed her arms, "i decided a while back when i left that i didn't want to be a leader anymore. Instead i noticted i like spreading knolage. So i decided to follow in Yuji's steps and make a academy of my own. For the past year now it's been under construction." She looked to Hana, "i'm going to be the headmaster. Should be done in a few months." She nodded.

Kiera winced as she looked behind her, terrified. "I thought.. I thought I just saw.." She sobbed. "I could have been imagining... but he was right there... standing there.. playing that song..." She looked back to him, clearly distressed. "I saw him.. Christopher.. here."
Evelin looked excited. "School!" Kyle chuckled a little. "You know, School's not that easy. You have to put concentration into it, and you have to make sure you do all your work with your best effort." Evelin blinked at him. "But you said it's easy." Hana scoffed as she walked over to them with two guys at her arms. "Yeah well that's just him. He's got an unfair advantage." She turned up her nose as she walked back into the crowd. Kyle scratched his head. "Well I wouldn't call it that.." Evelin looked to him, confused. "Well Phoenix's are considered smarter than a lot of Yokai. Passionate in places. Although it depends which branch of Phoenix you come from." Evelyn snuffed. "Sounds like an unfair advantage to me." She commented as she drank some more champagne.

*Shortstraw looked to keria and hugged her close, "alright, it's alright. If he is, then I'll take care of it. It could be a trick from one of the other leaders or somthing." He looked to her, "come on. Lets get back to the party, where the others, and the kids are." He did belive her though. It was far too easy to kill the man before. Even though his soul was crushed. He knew it wasn'ta conncetion to Keria though, Veria searched and repaired keria personaly to make sure. The seal was the only way, and Eve took car of that. So now there was only one idea that came to his head. Someone was playing with her senses and or head. He didn't here any song playing... he also knew that both keria and veria kept that room locked at all times. THen agian, veria and cale weren't eve in the building becuse of the event taking place. They made sure to dissapear so no one could figure veria and cale out with living in the house. So the one person who would have truly figured anything out wasn't in the house. ANd eve was cluelss to all that happened. Shortstraw had kerias hand as he whiped her tears away, but it was firm, "As long as we are near eachother, your safe." he replied as they neared the door. He turned to her one last time before they went in. "If you see him again, let me know."

Kiera nodded slowly as she clutched his arm. She was never this terrified of anyone other than Christopher and her mother. Both of which she thought were dead. She knew Amelie was gone. But she hadn't been there to witness the death of Christopher. He was the only one who really had her inches from death. And had pushed her to commit suicide. It was all so very.. delicate. Of course he wasn't dead. That would have been too easy... way too easy.. "Please don't leave my side.." She whispered as they walked their way through the crowds again. She put on again her calm persona as she smiled to the familiar faces.
Evelin looked back to Kyle. "Did you.. make friends?" Kyle smiled and nodded. "A few, yes. They're all very nice. Everyone is nice there." Evelin's cheeks flushed slightly. "I wanna go to school." Kyle laughed a little. "You're a little too small to go to school yet." Evelin frowned. "But.." Evelyn grinned over to them. "Technically you're all the same age." Kyle winced. "Well.. it's because I grew faster than you and Theodore. Phoenix's mostly skip the childhood stage. I'm still growing quick but I've slowed down a little."

Eve shook her head at hana. And crossed her arms as she headed into the crowds to see a few other people she hadn't in a while. Meanwhile Shortstraw thought to keria, "dont bet on it babe. Something like that guy isn't somthing to push around. We will need to keep a better eye on the kids too. Just in case he uses them as levrage.' he thought as the continued on with there ball. meanwhile Theador nodded, "daddy says we are growing quick but not too quick." He chukkled, "he said momma grew like wildfire."

The ball went on long into the night. From then on the disturbances stopped, Kiera grew calmer, and the ball continued to be a success. The different kingdoms mingled unlike any time before. Stubborn leaders came out to be good friends. And Kiera had managed to show Shortstraw to all the rest of the leaders. Kiera wondered herself how she remembered them all. And when it came the time that they all started to dissipate and leave, the kids were all but asleep in a pile in a corner, Hana was still flirting, and Dante and Soflora had already escaped to their own devices. Evelyn thankfully wasn't as drunk, however she had become more sociable and people talked with her about her sudden immense growth in power. Some were intimidated, some scoffed and said it was all just a lie. And by the time all the other leaders had left, Mordekai crept into the castle in his scruffy clothing to collect Kyle. He was slightly dazed, from going to get drunk again, however he had enough wits to find Kyle sadly walking down the hall after putting Evelin and Theodore in their beds. "Was it fun?" Kyle noticed his father and walked up to him with a put on smile. "You should have come, father." Mordekai shrugged. "Eh.. it's not my thing.." He patted Kyle's head and started walking back to the door. "Kyle... I think you should stop hanging around with those kids.." Kyle frowned at his father. "Why?" Mordekai looked back to him. "Why? Because its scary.. Kyle.. everything bad that has happened has revolved around this family. I don't want to see you get hurt too." Kyle scowled. "No. You just don't want to get hurt again." Kyle walked past his father and rushed down the stairs and out the door. Mordekai sighed.

*Shortstraw was basicly with keria the whole night now. Not leaving her side, nor her alone. He was also more alert then before. Anf finally as the last of the leaders left and everyone said there goodbuys, Veria and cale finally appeared. "Hello kiddys, have fun?" She asked, "we did we went on another date." She clapped, "i see the little ones are passed out. OH and..." she turned to keria, "my child will be born within a few days now i think. I can feel it. The aura is also expanding to the point it seems to be livly. I think within a day or so... two tops, charrlet will be giving birth to her." She smiled, "i'm so excited." She clapped but shrugged, "not sure how good of a mother i can be, but i'm willing to give it a try. It seems easy after i seen you two do it."
Eve however collected Hana, to make sure she didn't run off or have anyone stay through her flerting and sat her down in the living room. "Alright lisen I need help with somthing." Since everyone was eithe rup stairs or in bed, she figured she would have no worrys. She put a map down ont he coffee table, "somethings come up. I can't tell you too much right now. Nor can i really displace much either since i dont know untill we get there. But this one is a secrite tieing to why i left before." She looked to Hana, "warrior work."

Hana rose an eyebrow and folded her arms over her chest. "All right. Easy. But how do I know what we're getting into if you won't even tell me anything?" She shook her head dismissively. "Never mind. There's not really much point fishing for you to tell me. You're more stubborn than I am."
Kyle walked down the path at first and stopped suddenly as he saw something in the bushes. But didn't think about it as he carried on and looked back to see his father coming out of the dimly lit castle in the distance. Mordekai didn't know anything. He was ignorant. He couldn't stop Kyle from seeing the other two. That'd all but render him introverted. He wasn't going to let that happen. He'd run away if he had to. "Need help with that?" A shadowy figure called out in front of Kyle as he stopped and looked forward again. Who was that? A tall man with wispy blonde hair. Looked kinda like Cale. "Sorry.. what?" The man smiled slightly as he shrugged his hands into his pockets. "I asked if you needed help with running away. I mean a little boy like you can't be running about the place by yourself. Although there is more to you than what meets the eye. You're frightfully intelligent for your age. And you keep a lot of secrets. You remind me of myself." Kyle's eyes thinned. Don't talk to strangers. Don't talk to strangers. Don't talk to strangers. "Was that something your father taught you?" Kyle's eyes widened. So he really could read his mind? "Kyle!" Mordekai was coming close now. Kyle looked back to the man, but he was gone. Huh? "You're special, Kyle. Oh so very special." Kyle spun around again at the voice to only see his father running to him. "Kyle!" He scowled as he took his arm. "Kyle Unmei Madison. This is so out of character for you to run off like that."

*Eve shied and looked to Hana, "i can't tell you here. Anyways we will start off split up. I want you to take this rout here through the forest to the east and trail north. We will meet in a city here in the center. You have five days to get there. Order a room at the Inn there. Upon that, things will start to revil themselves more when i arrive and we head out. I have to make sure we arn't trailed. Watch for followers of any sorts. To the most point..." she glared at the map, "both of us will have at least one thing follow us. The idea is to split the enemys eye sight from one possition to two. This way it will make th ereal goal harder for them to stop us or gain intel. Understand your objective?"

Hana nodded and looked to the side. "Yeah yeah I get it. The bastards won't learn a thing. I mean I barely know anything yet." She grinned back to Eve. "When are we off? Now or the morning?"
Kyle stayed silent and looked away as Mordekai stared at him. "Look, I know you're upset about what I said, but no amount of pouting is going to change it. I want you to stay away from them, because I'm worried about you. Not because I'm worried for myself." He crouched down to Kyle's level. "Your older brother and mother died because of that family. I don't want to see that happening to you too." Kyle glared at him. "Then why don't you stay away from them?" Mordekai looked away guiltily. "Because... I don't care very much for my own life anymore." Kyle stared at his father in bemusement before looking away again. "I know." Kyle simply said before walking away again.

*Eve nodded and rolled up the map, "now would be more perfurrable. However a half hour from now will be perfict so you can gather your things. You will probably make it there before me bein gyour part wolf. So be pashaint." She handed something rapped up to Hana, "keep this on you at all times. Do not part with it, and whatever you do, do not take it out of the cloth. I'm the distraction, your the carrior. Lets rock and roll."

Hana rolled her eyes. "Sure, sure." She took the item and looked at it however didn't unwrap it as she stood up and mumbled to herself. "Jeez, how boring. A delivery job." She walked out of the room. "See you later." She walked up the stairs to her room. "Right guys I got half an hour to kill, so who's first?"
Mordekai had to run after Kyle again after getting over the guilt of saying that to his son. Jeez he was a bad dad. He couldn't say something without messing things up. But Kyle was never like this. He never acted out against him. Mordekai followed the path all the way into town. Could Kyle have gone this far? He was acting strange. Mordekai began to search around town, and then upon finding around ten minutes later that he couldn't find Kyle anywhere. He began to get a little worried.
