 The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira saw Dara run through the door, and after seeing what was behind it for a split second, went for Dara and aimed to pull her back "Close the door please!" she snapped as she sent a pulse of her wavelength towards the monster to try and push it back. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

Hearing Shira yell towards him to close the door, Atticus frowned. "I thought I said that I am not going to waste anymore time." he snapped back at her. Sensing Shira's wavelength pulse, Atticus would take advantage of it and jump in its path, using it to boost his momentum, he intended to pierce the beast's head. ✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾

The gigatos was much too ponderous to dodge Atticus's sudden and speedy attack, especially since it was already in the middle of its own. Atticus's sword-arm buried itself straight into the creature's face. The gigantos let out a groan of pain, but seemed otherwise unfazed. It bucked its head quickly, tossing Atticus off of him. It swung again, this time it was a downward swing towards Shira in an effort to crush her straight into the stone floor.

The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira was about to make a comeback towards her partner but bit her tongue to see what would happen with his most recent attack. "Sheesh..." she muttered before seeing that the attack didn't effect the Gigantos too much. Seeing the attack coming towards her, Shira made a last minute dodge, barely missing it. She landed not too far away she glanced towards one of the non armored spots on the creature and quickly sent a powerful kick towards the back of its knee to try and get it to fall down temporarily. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

Shira's attack landed, causing the gigantos to wobble unsteadily and fall to one knee. But almost as quickly as it had fallen, it stood up straight again. It bellowed at Shira before clamping both hands together and slamming them into the ground, causing the entire room to shake in an attempt to throw them off balance.

❃ Atticus Eternia ❃ Weapon ❃ Soul Wavelength: Stable ❃ Souls Collected: 75(Kishin), 0 (Witch) ❃ ✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾With his blade planted firmly into the creature, Atticus had thought that his attack had finally landed, but to his surprise, the creature was seemingly unaffected by his sword and flung Atticus off of him and caused Atticus to be sent flying hard into the stone walls. The impact of him hitting the wall, undoubtedly caused Atticus some harm, as he coughed up blood. Landing on the ground, Atticus looked over towards Shira as she dodged the creatures attack and then attacked him in return. Her attack was somewhat effective but the creature countered once again by using his massive hands and causing the ground below them to shake. Jumping up into the air, Atticus placed both of his feet on the wall and used it as brace. Kicking off of it, Atticus was sent flying towards the monster yet again, but this time he aimed to decapitate the creature. ✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾

Atticus's sword-arms bit into the creature's neck, but stopped far short of decapitating it. Once again the creature merely shrugged him off, shaking its head until it had worked out his blades. Then it raised its arm towards him, a deep glow coming from within the tube in its palm as it prepared to fire one of its devastating resonance force bullets towards him.

Once more, the creature would shake and thrash about some more and caused Atticus to dislodge his sword. Just then, the creature would prepare another attack at him, but this one was far more powerful than his earlier ones. Landing back on the ground in front of it, Atticus would prepare his own attack, once charging was done, he unleashed a powerful energy wave at him. ✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾

The energy wave smashed against the creature just as it fired its massive blast of energy towards Atticus. The wave pushed it back a few steps, almost bowling it over completely but somehow it managed to remain standing, still seemingly unfazed by the attacks it had been receiving.

"This is most likely an illusion use to keep us occupied..." She said to herself as she continued waiting on Atticus. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

However, the creature still managed to fire off its bullets, some of which hit Atticus in his leg and arm, but Atticus did not fall. Watching the beast recover from his attack yet again, Atticus would sigh and relax himself. Judging from his two attacks earlier and how the beast seemingly felt nothing or showed any signs of slowing down, Atticus had already figured out its true intention. "Another illusion." he muttered. The creature stood up to its full height as Atticus relaxed. But it didn't slow down for a moment. It swung at him again, a full half-circle to try and slam Atticus into the far wall. [[it's not an illusion xp ]]
