Nevada didn't even hesitate when it all blew up in there face. Stormy was dead, dead looking at her. Jake was ********. there was so much blood. But Stormy...Stormy was the one...No...
Stormy was moving around like a ******** zombie. She couldn't even deal with that s**t right now. She couldn't kill a hunter.
Rushing over to Sherry and Melvin over Jake, She kneeled down by the life huntress and grimaced at the damage done to Jake. Her coat was taken off and offered to the life Trainee.
"Take my coat hun, It'll keep the blood loss down to minimum instead of it sliding between your fingers..." Nevada looked around their area. What good could she do for Sherry? There wasn't even a chance to her...No she could.
"Darling, I'm going to put a defense on you for right now? I'll watch over you and Jake to keep horseman away. Just keep the pressure on kay?" She pulled the extra poppy pin from her hair and held it out. Small vines and flowers spread from the sand, forming a barrier around Sherry and Jake for now.
Then Nevada took up position to fight.

Tuck was no fool, and he could see that the creature that had once been Stormy was no longer Stormy. When Ofelia took a swing at the beast, Tuck faltered, but as the creature fell from his arms, he didn't hesitate. She was gone, and there was nothing he could do to save her - but there was something he could do to help the hunters who needed it. Stumbling slightly in the sand, Tuck moved to Deryk. Placing himself between the other man and those attacking him, Tuck stood his ground, using Herryk to deflect any attacks that he could. HP: 40/40 Defending Deryk for: 4

Otto furrowed his brows, trying not to look at Cass, or at least not in the eyes. "Yeah I'll just use my super future telling powers to prevent a goddamn..."He sighed, and rubbed his neck. There was no need to be haughty. Cass saved his a**. "Nevermind.. I'm surprised ya managed to ********' catch me at all..." He'd thought he would die.. His eyes lifted as another horsemen attacked, this time at Deryk who was figuring out the computer with his mystic nerd powers. "********.. we'll chat it up later, girly." He grunted, summoning Tenya again and running forward. The blond felt Tenya surge with power, runes burning right orange, almost alive with fire. "EAT THIS, YA PIECE A s**t!" Otto shrieked, hurling the glowing weapon at the Heir. The impact felt like it was backed by a tanker truck, a shockwave equal to its might following the attack. The boomerang flew back to Otto afterward, the hunter catching it and sliding back a foot or two. Suddenly, the desert seemed to explode to life around them. The bones that had trapped them inside with the monsters became monsters themselves, snapping and flailing and lashing out at friend and foe alike. The sound of an impact against the sand caused Evan to turn his attention from the freakshow he was currently fighting to discover the source. He was just in time to see Stormy fall, impaled by spines shot by the new threats. He paled as her body started to change into something even more grotesque than the creatures that had killed her. /don't look don't look don't look don't look/ Gir chanted as the thing that had once been Stormy rose. Evan shook his head helplessly; he couldn't not look. He watched almost numbly as another hunter attacked not!Stormy. The urge to protest lasted only a second before Evan's grip tightened on Gir. This wasn't Stormy anymore, but it was still an active battlefield, and he knew what had to be done. Still, he felt a bit of regret as he swung and connected. Deryk gave Tuck and Otto a thankful look as they came to help try and get the ponies off his back. Cracking his knuckles, he went on and tried to get past the last part of the lock.
Unfortunately getting smacked around was highly distracting and he was DEFINITELY NOT USED TO BEING HIT WHILE TRYING TO HACK.

"Get the <********> away from him." Candace hissed, shoving a bloody hand against the horseman nearest to Deryk and standing in front of him with the others. The Death heir infuriated her with her talk of the 'good doctor', her fist clenched tightly. She tried to ignore the sting of her wounds for now, wanting to pretend her shoddy bandaging job wasn't getting completely soaked in blood and sagging. "Yeah, yeah. I know. Sorry." she apologized quickly, realizing it was kind of dumb to ask someone to just..not get attacked at random when they had no power over it. Never the less, she gave him a quick pat on the shoulder as she moved with a quiet, "Later. Stay safe, yeah?" and then headed through the sand towards where she'd left Nicodemus planted and - PONIES!!
She really hated these ********' glue-monsters, but she had more important things to focus on - like making sure a certain Death didn't die. Because they'd already had one Death kick the bucket today, moving to also stand between him and the Horsemen.HP: 60/60 Defense: 2

Seeing as Deryk was now working on the laptop Mark had been using, he could only assume he was now working to get them the hell out of here. This meant keeping him alive.

Aisa couldn't help but glance in annoyance, as the line of defense built up against her.
Hunter and their technology was most annoying, this one being no exception.

The fact that he did ignore her did upset her, but not half as much as when he had moved on to take out the second person who worked to get the portal back up. Unable to focus, and not willing to leave Mark's side yet, Kat raised her weapon and fired one shot at the back of the horsemen. No doubt, it probably only felt like a small graze to him, but the sun huntress was past caring.
