She tried to keep up with her very interestingly accented new friend as Tatiana made her way over to the other girls, but Connie couldn't help lagging behind a bit, especially after she managed to hoist the very large snarling sword off of her back with the intention of getting a better look at it. Well, it wasn't actually snarling, but it sure seemed like it might at any second. Or maybe it just seemed like a giant plastic toy.
The little girl swung it around and around, spinning and giggling until she very nearly hit someone.
"Oh, hi! Sorry! That's a pretty bow!"But did you see my SHARKSWORD? Okay, she didn't add that last part, but it was kind of implied. She grinned broadly and waved her weapon back in Tatiana's direction. "Wanna come meet some people? I don't know what we're all doing here except talking. Someone mentioned... fighting, I guess?" Her thoughts had been on ponies and cake at the time, so she really couldn't say.

Arietta tapped her chin with her finger, deep in thought about how to answer Calliope's question. She seemed to be considering the rude girl with a thoughtful apprehension that didn't quite belong.
"I think I have the general gist of what's happening."
"We all woke up without memories, except for a creature telling us to fight. After that, a suspicious and weird girl came up to me and told me I have a ridiculous weapon and we're having a giant party of weird and suspicious girls, outfits and weapons."
(◕‿◕✿)
That summarized it quite nicely.
"P.S. Hanna here is the only peacemaker between the two of us."
Nearby another girl had just woken up. "Hi there! Don't worry. We seem to all have the same problem. No one can remember much of anything. I'm Etain. What's your name?"
She watched as she was talking and something small in the girl's hand sprouted into a beautiful bow. "Wow! That's pretty."

Lyra blinked at Poppy for a few times in disbelief. She was energetic; that much could be said for certain. On top of that it seemed her attention span was limited because before Lyra could address her, she was off in another direction. Not that there was anything wrong with that. It was good to have some energy around here - wherever here was.
To Jocelyn, she turned and looked the girl over. She was younger than most and Lyra bit her bottom lip, wondering how one so young could be expected to fight. She shrugged at the girls' question before turning to back to Thalia and nodding.
"Our best bet is to wait, I suppose. But we should be prepared and on guard. Just in case." With that, she flopped to the floor and sat with her legs stretched out. Other girls joined their little group and she met them with a small wave and her name.

She hummed thoughtfully at the answer. That much she expected, but she couldn’t help but let her smile falter briefly at the mention of party and weird girls. Well, Arietta certainly had that part down. Calliope would have preferred to be running around in different attire, but she supposed it could’ve been worse. “Weird, but cute.” A pause. “But inappropriate, given the circumstances.” She appeared to be pouting as she held up her pistol sword and gently poked the tip with her finger, careful to not p***k herself.
Her ears perked up at the name. Ah, so the other girl was called Hanna? She knew both of their names, so it was only natural to divulge her own, but as her mouth opened she stopped. Smiling, Calliope tilted her head suddenly. “It’s Calliope, not Green.” She sounded amiable enough, but it was easy to see that what she really meant was b***h I’ll wring your neck.
At least the hostility ebbed away when she turned to Hanna. “A pleasure to be working with you.”

Magenta jumped up and down giddily as Leanne presented her weapon. How pretty it was!
"Ah, that might make sense! But ... why would he take away our memories if we're the ones fighting? Doesn't it make more sense to give us something? Like a present!" Mag loved present.
She looked at the other two ghouls and said, "Oh! I'm Magenta!!" So far, Magenta was actually liking this little "adventure." She liked meeting new people!
A sharp push from her backside alerted her that all was not well. Oh no. Was she being picked on? Was there a bully here?!
Instead what she got was- yet another- ghoul about her age. Maybe a bit older. "Oh no it's no problem! That didn't hurt at all!" It had, but there was no need to bother Izzy with it! "Who are you!"

She woke. It was odd, she didn't remember falling asleep. At least she didn't think she did. But then again...she wasn't sure if she could recall much of anything. And for some reason that didn't trouble her.
Nor did the voice. She didn't really understand what it said to her, but it sounded like important stuff. It also sounded like she was given some kind of job. She wasn't sure how that would go about. Surely anything dealing with a weapon was not up her alley. Oh. Right. That was her name, wasn't it? Ally. That was a good thing to know. What else did she know? Not much, apparently.
It seemed, the best of her limited knowledge Ally found herself somewhere. Not alone, either. And charged with some kind of job, and given some kind of weapon. Perhaps she was dreaming? She had to be. There was no way she had a....Oh, maybe she did have a weapon. There was a scythe in her hand, after all. A long, simple black scythe with a shiny silver blade. And it didn't even feel odd being there.

Gruntilda roused slowly, the echo of a yawn permeating through the cloth of her hood. She had no idea what was going on, what had happened or where or who she was. All she knew was that something was talking to her, explaining things and she strained to catch it all. Slow down, slow down, she thought. The witch was normally very focused, it wasn't her fault that the creature didn't understand you waited a minute before barraging a ghoul after her beauty sleep.
She grunted at it's request, though she has a strong feeling that it wasn't so much a request as a director order. Not that she cared, the skull-hatted ghoul was always up for a challenge. The harder the better.
A low growl came from beneath the hood, hidden eyes peering from the large black sockets. Gruntilda, which incidentally was not her name but what we will call her since she seems to lack proper answering capabilities, had not clue where she was or what was happening; only that there would be fighting and she was surrounding by a mass of other young ghouls.
Slinging her sword over her shoulder, she looked around. What to do, what to do.

"A launcher??? Um....possible! But what does it use for bullet?" Nemi tilted her head, a tuft of her bang fell to cover one of her eyes. The poor ghost seemed to be dizzied.
The uneasy look on Keiko's face caught Nemi's attention. Yes, that would be the ordinary response of an amnesia person. The candy witch actually felt unsecured also, knowing nothing about herself besides her name. She was confused of what the creature told her and the reason why they were there. However, she did know feelings would be infected. One's negative feeling would be passed to another one very easily. So she tried her best to be optimistic "outside". Evidences can be shown by her occasional wielding of the poor ghost and frequent nomming on cookies. "Yesu! A rainbow~ I can see we have those lovely trinkets, of different colors. Nemi's one is green, Ade's one is orange and yours is purple. Is there any meaning of that?" She blinked again, taking another bite on a new cookie. "If it wasn't a party......" Nemi suddenly recalled the creature's mentioning "fight", "weapon" and "fear". "I guess if we can find the fluffy creature again, it may tell us more?"
Eyeing at the girl that Ade was talking to, Nemi jumped and landed right in front of them. Candies dropped like rain and she picked up a pumpkin-shaped lollipop. "Want one? You don't seem feeling good....a candy might help a bit!" Nemi shoved the lolly into Elspeth's hand. "Nemi is Nemi! If you don't mind, we can find out what happened together and maybe we can regain our memories!" Nemi gave an amiable smile.
"Oh! There's another girl!" The witch bounced to drag the new girl to the group, leaving a candy trail as she jogged back and forth. "Nice to meet you, Nemi is Nemi! Do you lose your memories also? Don't worry, we are all the same here!" Eye-squinting onto Ally's weapon, she commented that it's such a neat scythe and swung up the poor dizzy ghost again to show the new girls.
"Nemi believes this's Nemi's weapon!"

Anna blinked as someone approached her. "I, u-um..." Then she took a deep breath, visibly steeling herself.
"Y-yes. Sure. My name is Anna," she added, quietly. So many ghouls here, so many... like her? Another ghoul approached and she nodded to her, holding her bow more tightly. "What I remember... what do you remember? Really, really nothing? Doesn't anyone remember anything at all?" It seemed her courage was growing as she spoke.

So maybe she was wrong then. Lissa actually put forth some more effort in coming up with a better hypothesis, her hand on her chin in deep thought.
Her thought process remained uninterrupted as another girl bumped into the group, murmuring theories before quickly dismissing them as poppycock and moving on.
It was't until Leanne made mention of her weapon's use that Lissa gave up on her thinking. "Oh.. but it would make a lovely whacking stick." She smiled shyly mimicking a bop on the head lightly with her staff.
Her attention drifted off to her weapon once more, and she held it up, examining it. From the looks of it, it seemed to be... a shield? Shields were... defensive weapons, weren't they? So... was she meant to fight defensively? She gave the shield a swing, and found it... a bit heavier than she imagined. Before she could stop herself, she had let go of the shield, and it went whizzing through the air, making a loud "CLANG" as it bounced off something metal.
She quickly turned to see that her weapon was very close to knocking over another girl over, but thankfully, her scythe seemed to have protected her. Running over to the girl, she dipped her head in embarrassment. "I... I'm so sorry! Are you alright?"
Seeing as Nemi was also there, she gave an apologetic shrug. "... Possibly? All these weapons are beyond my understanding..."
Cyan once had a dream about jumping off a very high cliff, and falling forever. She'd woken up then, but that was all she remembered.
This sensation was very much like that dream. Falling and falling into what felt like an eternity of gravity, while feeling as though she should have been protecting someone, or giving them encouraging words. There was no one that she knew, though. She didn't know anything other than her name and that she was falling, come to think of it.
She stopped falling, but never crashed into the ground. She just...existed? She was standing on her own two feet, staring at a strange white cat...thing that told of humans and FEAR and a need to save these Human things from whatever it was that was attacking them.
"Okay! We can do it!" She beamed, positive that with the combined power of all the girls that she'd noticed while conversing with the creature, they could surely save these humans. At least, she had to feel that way on the outside - no one would receive a morale boost from the sullen and worried ghoul on the inside.

Astiria groaned as she put her hand to her head and slowly blinked her dark pinky-purple eyes. Her head felt as if it was splitting apart but the feeling seemed as if it was slowly fading. Looking around she spots a small creature staring at her.
<Ah! I'm glad you finally woke up! How are you feeling? >
She heard being said inside her head. Shaking her head slightly she sits up fully and blinks at the creature her lips held in a tight line as she thinks about the question. "Well, I think I am fine.. However.." She starts with as she realizes that her mind seems a bit blank when it comes to anything save her name. "It seems my mind is a bit fuzzy.. I don't remember how I got here... or anything else for that matter." She tells the small creature in answer to it's question. It then seems to c**k its head as it stares at her.
<You don't remember anything? That is rather unfortunate and oddly inconvenient. Shall I remind you of why you are here? >
Astiria blinks again as she studies the creature. She had to admit it was a bit annoying that she did not remember.. but inconvenient? She was not so sure about that, after all what if there was something she didn't want to know in that missing past of hers? Still, she was curious as to why she was waking up here. With that thought she looked at the creature again. "I guess that would be a good idea. After all, it might help to put things into perspective." She said as she brought herself into a kneeling position in front of the creature.
<Very well, it is good for you to understand the truth. You are here because you chose to fight. >
She nodded, trying to figure out why she would have chose that. Still it sort of made sense, she felt as if she would not run from a challenge. Although, she had no reason to fear that as of yet either so she saw no reason to argue the creature's answer. "That sounds interesting. But how..." She started to say but allowed herself to trail off at the end as the creature continued.
<This item next to you is important, don't forget it. This is where you keep your power, your Fear. Did you forget what Fear was as well? >
Blinking, Astiria looks to her side to see the two short swords sitting there. Picking them up she studied the dark metal blades and felt the.. fear was it?, resonating with her. Looking back up at the creature she sighs. "I am afraid I have forgotten that as well. I am sorry." She told it as she laid the short swords in her lap and awaited it's answer.
< Ah, let me explain a little better. There are many kinds of Fear. There is kind, benign Fear, taken from Humans, to help our world. Then there is a terrible type of Fear that would take without considering the balance between Humans and Halloween. >
She nodded as she only half listened to the explanation. It seemed a bit long winded to her but from what she gathered there was good fear and bad fear and there was a balance between the two. She cocked her head to the side as she tried to listen better as it continued it's explanation.
< You have been chosen to restore this balance of course. Your weapon will help you do this. As a Reaper, skilled in using Fear in weapons, I'm sure you using this weapon is natural to you! >
As it finished she looked down at the short swords again and stood up to put them back into the sheaths that were also lying on the ground before tying them to the belt on her rather poofy skirt. She now understood a bit better. This creature wanted her to keep the balance right? That didn't seem to hard. Once she was done she looked back at the creature. "Still, why me? Why not someone more experienced to do this? I am sure there were others you could call upon." She asked the creature as she stood there her red hair swaying slightly around her as she tried to figure out the answer.
<Honestly I would have asked the others, but unfortunately you are the only ones that remain. The Humans are counting on you to save them! Good luck! >
It told her frankly before leaving. Blinking at it's disappearance, she looked around and noticed that there were others here. She realized that she had not noticed this before and while annoyed that the creature had not told her how the so called others had gone, to leave only them, she was happy that she was not alone in this endeavor to help the humans.

Kyohei walked amongst the sea of girls in frilly, colorful clothing. She attempts to start conversations with a couple different girls but lost her nerve every time. "Uhhh...darn it. I can't do this. Woops! Excuse me! I'm so sorry!" Kyohei had backed up and bumped into a girl accidentally. Righting herself she turns toward the girl...who was wearing an odd hood, "I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to. I'm uh-uh..." Who was she? Finally she said,"Kyohei. Um I think that's right. It must be..."
