Sebastian stayed close to Manga's side, keeping a close eye both on her and the twins, though he must admit, his attention was more focused on Manga. His Manga... His... well what was she to him? He would call her wife but they were not married, and probably wouldn't be for a long time... Not until Derrik was taken care of... And girlfriend was too... it just didn't sound as longterm as he felt for her. He couldn't call her Fiance because he hadn't exactly asked her to marry him... Their relationship was just implied... there was no statement about it... and he conceded that he was starting to be very confused about it, even though he knew that she felt the same way he did. Perhaps they would have to discuss this later.
Maddie's arms were looped around her sister, her head against Emmie's back, lulled to sleep by the hoofsteps below her. She was comfortable, safe from harm, and content. Her facial features were softened in sleep, much like an angel, which contrasted from how she was when she was awake...
Paimon looked over at his mate, Ca with a puzzling look. He knew she was a bit confused about some feeling she got concerning the human female, and she didn't know how to explain it to him, so he couldn't help her. He felt as lost as he could be, as he had before he met Ca. He wanted to help her, but didn't know how.

"I see you've brought company with you, Miss Manga," Alfred commented politely as the artist stopped a few feet from him. Manga nodded, then turned to introduce her companions. "Alfred, this is Sebastian Leowes, Paimon, Ca Thu Thi, Emmalyn Leowes, and Madilyn Leowes." She turned back to the butler Azrien, who was smiling politely at them. "It's a pleasure to meet you," he said with a nod towards the two Azrien and their passengers. Then his gaze slid to Sebastian. Bowing slightly, he added, "And I am happy to welcome you back to Leowes Manor, Master Sebastian. I am glad to see you are well."
Ca seemed to sense Paimon's gaze on her, as she turned and inspected him. She playfully nipped at his mane, careful not to catch Emmie's fingers along with it. He wasn't sulking, but he was thinking too much about something.

Sebastian studied the azrein carefully, memories stirring like disturbed dust in the back of his mind. He had an image of his grandfather in his head, a hand reaching out and petting a tiny, foalish suited azrein. Was this the same? He dipped his head to Alfred. "You as well, Alfred... I hadn't remembered you until this moment, I am afraid to admit. Though you still seem to be the same as from when I last saw you." he replied, his red eyes distant as memories still danced around.
Paimon smiled and nipped back at his mate before turning to study the suited azrein. He tried to stifle it, really he did, but a snort came out before he could as he saw the azrein in a human suit. Really? His dark side suddenly flared up with a bit of an urge to burn the clothes off of the azrein, but he stifled it down, calming the flare of his flames as quick as he could.

"That's quite alright," Alfred reassured the young master. "You were still very young when you were last here." And of course, compared to the splendor of the other Azrien and two-leggers that had occupied the house, Alfred had been rather plain. "Time hasn't moved much since Master Thomas left," he replied softly. His gaze shifted to Paimon only for a moment before shifting to the two young men that had just come into his line of sight. "Are they also your companions?" Manga turned and nodded. "The short one's Tkal and the tall one's his brother, Thalanir. They were just checking to make sure we weren't followed." Alfred nodded his understanding, then turned and gestured for them to follow him towards the house. Regardless of the reason, it was wonderful to have company--especially relatives of his late Chosen.

Sebastian nodded and motioned for everyone to follow, as he lifted the girls up off of Paimon's back, handing Maddie to Manga, and holding onto Emmie himself, so Paimon could be relieved to go find a place nearby for him and Ca to stay where they wouldn't be too close to the humans.
Paimon nodded and nuzzled Ca after he was relieved of the twins. "I had no idea that I would be put on babysitting duty." He teased lightly. "Are you okay? You're not too tired are you?" He asked, worried a bit about her wellbeing as they had just found out recently that she was pregnant, from Aila who had examined Ca to make sure her wounds were healed enough to travel.

Manga dutifully carried the sleeping child inside, allowing Alfred to lead them to rooms where they could all stay. While she was tucking Madilyn into bed, she could hear Alfred reciting something in the hall. She left the bedside and stood in the doorway, watching the pair of them. Something was happening between them... was this what a Bonding looked like?
Ca smiled in amusement at his teasing. Well, he was wearing a saddle, and the little ones wouldn't have the endurance of the older ones... Her gaze went to Manga for a moment. That woman... should've been showing more pain, especially since she was carrying a child. Her wounds had looked severe, and from what Paimon said, they were worse than they originally looked. The mare drew herself away from her thoughts to roll her eyes and snort at Paimon's concern. She was fine! Walking through a forest was nothing like walking through a desert.

Paimon let out a frustrated sigh before settling down in an area not to far from the mansion, but far enough that it felt like they were alone. He motioned for his mate to settle next to him and when she did, he set to grooming her mane and tail, picking out all the debris from the wind of the day out, a ritual he did almost regularly cause it gave him an excuse to be close and let his warmth envelope her, and.. well he got to be close.
Sebastian stopped in shock as the stallion began to recite those familiar lines to him. His mind flashed back to his near death experience and meeting Paimon, the only other azrein to have Chosen him.

Smiling, Manga quietly took Emmie from Sebastian's arms so that she could be with her twin and rest. Leaving the room, she quietly closed the door behind her and watched Alfred and Sebastian's expressions.
Alfred's eyes crinkled in amusement. "You act like Bonding is a bad omen, Sir Sebastian," he commented mentally, changing the title upon noticing his new Chosen's dislike for the term 'master.'
Ca Thu Thi was content to just lay there with her mate, letting him perform his daily grooming ritual. She had to admit, she enjoyed the closeness and warmth that it brought. Relaxing against Paimon, she let her thoughts wander--and inadvertently they ended up on the human female again. She didn't know why her mind kept fixing on the woman, but it did... She let her eyes slide closed, drifting into a light doze now that she was comfortable. Maybe she'd figure it out later...
(( Should we skip to when the twins wake Sebastian up because they can't find Manga? ))

Paimon sat bolt straight up, abandoning his grooming of his mate as another Conscience slid into his and Sebastian's own. It took him a moment to realize it, but when he did, he was startled and... maybe a tad bit jealous. Sebastian was his Chosen.. Not that scarcely known suited male.

~*~ TIME SKIP ~*~ Emmalyn's little fists were pounding on Sebastian's door in a very similar fashion to the incident at the farm. The instant the door opened, panicked words tumbled from her mouth. She took a minute to take a breath and become understandable. "I can't find Manga," she got out. "She's not in her room or the kitchen or the garden or the library..."Oblivious to the chaos that was beginning to unfold inside, Manga was sleeping peacefully in the back of the stable. She'd woken up in the night and had gone outside for some air, only to find Ca Thu Thi just outside the mansion for the same reason. Then it had started raining and they'd taken shelter in the stable... And now both were fast asleep on the large pile of hay in the back, Manga wrapped up in a quilt and resting lightly against the temperamental mare.

Sebastian was pulling his shirt on when Maddie told him about Manga being gone. Again??? He let out a small growl. 'You and Emmi stay in your room..." He said as he stormed angrily to the door without any shoes on, intending to look around and see if he could find tracks showing where she went.
Thalanir was asleep in Kailyn's stall.

"Sir Sebastian. ... Sir Sebastian." Alfred sighed. Both Sebastian and Paimon were in distress and weren't listening... "MASTER Sebastian! ...Miss Manga is not missing."
Tkal was squishing mud between his toes when Sebastian stormed outside. It wasn't hard to read the human's expression. Rolling his eyes, the halfling grabbed his arm and spun him so that he was facing in the right direction. "Calm down, Romeo. She's just in the stable."
"As is Miss Ca. Both of them are fine."

We'll talk about that 'sir' stuff later... again... As for the stables.. Whyyy?" He tilted his head at Tkal. Why was it that everyone else BUT him knew where Manga was at any point in time? The thought frustrated him to no end. Perhaps she might be better off with Tkal... atleast he could protect her better and not get as flustered when it came to her missing...
He shook his head and hurried into the barn, looking in everystall until he found the form sleeping by the blue speckled male. Why was she in Kailyn's stall? "Manga." He said simply, and irritably, shaking her shoulder softly to wake her up.
Thalanir sat up, bumping heads with Sebastian, causign the red head to back up in surprise at the tall elf. "You are not Manga..."
Thalanir scowled at Sebastian, his fist balling as he controlled his immediate response to a human waking him up like that. "No. I'm not. Check that blasted female's stall." he said, his jaw tight.
Sebastian backed up, his hands up apologetically as he looked around until he saw Ca. He almost stepped into the stall but thought better of it. The mare would probably bite his head off... Luckily Paimon had listened to Alfred at the same time and came in to find Ca curled up with the human female.
Paimon walked into the stall and looked at the two, utterly baffled by Ca's behavior. He nudged her awake and looked at her with an expression, luckily, he had kinda been getting the hang of the silent communication that Ca favored over talking, so his expression was just a silent question that he knew she would understand.

"I was only attempting to get your attention. You do not have to talk to me about it again." As for the reason... that was best for both Chosen and Bonded to find out for themselves.
Ca Thu Thi's pumpkin-colored glare fixed on Paimon for a moment before softening into a more gentle expression when her mind registered who it was. Her gaze shifted to Sebastian for a brief moment before returning to her mate and inspecting his confused face. Then she looked down at the human that was innocently curled up against her. It was only then did Paimon's silent question was understood. She looked up at the stallion, a smirk on her face as she spoke a single word:
"Mine."
She laid her head down again, raising an eyebrow at Paimon as if to ask if there was something else he needed.
Manga, meanwhile, was still asleep. Her expression was surprisingly innocent and void of the layer of calm that she usually had about her. Her only movement was to curl into a smaller ball, cocooned in her quilt with Ca's side as her pillow.
Tkal walked in after them, but stopped at Kailyn's stall. He didn't enter the stall, but he did offer a hand to Thalanir.

Paimon snorted with bafflement as he stomped his hooves, unsure of what to do. He looked to Sebastian and shrugged his shoulders before going into the stall and settling down behind Ca, nibbling at her mane.
Sebastian hesitantly followed Paimon in and crouched down to shake Manga awake, all the while keeping careful to keep his eyes on the red and grey female.
Paimon nipped at Ca's ear. "Mine." He said in the same tone she had, gesturing towards Seb and looking at her, his word a bit of a warning not to hurt him because he would do nothing wrong to Manga, and in fact was Manga's mate.
Thal took his brother's hand and sat up, dusting himself off of all the hay that had accumulated over the night. He grumpily dusted off his hair before moving to go outside and get away from the humans, especially the one that had kept him up most of the night.
