Broken from her treasure crazed stupor by Ratchet's parting words, Mizzen realized his words to be true. It had been a long eventful day and they could all do with a rest. "Off with you too Tear, go get some sleep." Mizzen said in an uncharacteristically calm relaxed tone. Rolling up the map and returning it to its rightful place, Mizzen motioned for the so-called scholar to follow her. "Come on, you're bunking with me. With everybody out to get you, this is the best way to keep you safe."Leading the way to her private quarters Mizzen unlocked the door to her room and nodded towards a reasonably sized bench along the left wall despite the fact that her bed could probably fit the two of them. "Have at it." Mizzen muttered, waddling over to her bed where she began stripping off her gun belt and other bits of jewelry (with the exception of her new belly button ring).

Arturia nodded before looking out to the open ocean, Her hand gripped her necklace before following mizzen. When they entered the private quaters she looked at the bench and smiled. "thank you its accommodating." She said not paying any mind to the bench and going ot the nearest corner where she opened her wings and wrapped them around herself. Arturia would fall asleep but not yet as she took out a small journal and started to read. The journal looked relatively new but something was off about it, the journal had a seal that was not seen for one thousand years, the emblem of the pirate queens crew, the black leviathian.

"G'night then" said Tear leaving Mizzen and Arturia to themselves. "Great... where can I bunk...." The elf wondered aloud. She could see Ratchet making his way down a set of stairs. As fast as she could waddle Tear came to him. "Um, Ratchet... could you direct me to where the crew sleeps? My uncle left port hours ago. I would just crash there."

(Our ship had already left port as well, right after the encounter on the docks. They've been just sorta going where the wind takes them atm. =P) Mizzen shrugs in indifference as Arturia plants herself in a corner of the room rather than on the offered bench. Placing her gun and sword within easy reach, the shark woman removed her baggy shirt and pants and crawled into the plush embrace of her bed where she quickly feel asleep and was soon snoring away.

He was planning on reading, but her pleading eyes seemed to need him. He couldn't just lead her to any old room, she would need to be assigned one first. " Here you can sleep in my room. I've got a bed you're welcome to use." he replied motioning for her to follow him. Leading the elf to his cabin, it was clear that the slave had moved on someplace else. Pointing to the bed he smiled. " I've got a hammock that I'll take. You, and your young, need the bed more." he said then walked over and began to fiddle with a hammock he had just incase someone needed to bunk with him. Pirates were always bunking with people, so he really wasn't concerned he would be sharing a room with a woman, just as long as she didn't do anything funny that was. Once upon the hammock he was quietly reading one of his books, his head propped up upon a spare pillow, and covered with a spare blanket, he didn't mind swaying with the ship.

"You sure? I got rather used to a thin leather on a piece of rock. Never really slept in a real bed before." The elf said to him. Seeing him not Tear pulled her boots off and followed by her armour leaving her in roughspun clothes. Most other Sandorians would wear enchanted silk, but not for her. She bid him good night then settled into the bed.

Arturia smiled as Mizzen fell into a deep sleep, when it was late she was still reading the mystery book before putting it away. She was very quiet in hopes not to wake mizzen as her talons tapped quiently against the floorboards. She opened her wings to fly up a few feet to quietly leave Mizzen's quarters as she flew to the crownest feeling the wind against her. She sat atop the crow next and pulling out an old flute. She began to play an old old tune that hadn't been heard since the days of the pirate queen. It was a soothing melody. Arturia was up their playing her heart out while tooking out towards the sea, the wind blowing her hair back. She was very calm and melancholy as if experiencing a memory.

Ratchet watched at the elf fell into a deep sleep. Smiling he thought about reading a little up in the crows nest. He couldn't sleep unless he did so, it was like he had trained himself.
Quietly he snuck out of the room and headed for the deck. The sound of a soothing melody caught his ears and he looked up to see someone in his favorite reading spot.
"So this is where that beautiful song is coming from?" he asked climbing to the top of the nest and looking at the woman. She was a mystery, Ratchet kind of hadn't trusted her yet, but so far she didn't seem that dangerous.
"I couldn't sleep, I thought reading in my favorite spot would help. Sorry if I disturbed you taticion." he said to her softly looking out at the sea.
Ratchet loved the sea, it was calm and soothing to him.

(Fixed the link and yeah I know, I'm just a stickler for details xD sweatdrop ) (I believe we are just waiting on Kurai_wolf to continue pushing us in the right direction, cuz I have no clue where to go with story dispite Mizzen being first mate.)

Arturia stopped playing when ratchet came up, "oh its quite alright." She said opening her wings and flying a bit higher up the mast standing on the very tip of the pole while playing the flute again. Arturia After awhile of playing to ease her nerves she'd fly down to the crows nest once more before curling up in a cocoon of her own wings. "I'm going to sleep until the first light of dawn, wake me up at that time if I'm not awake." She said reading more of her mystery book and falling asleep, keeping the book tight to her ample chest.

(OOC: sad I'm sorry to hear that. *hugs* ^^) Ratchet watched her fly up then eventually fly back down to where he was. Part of him was curious about the book she was reading, but the woman seemed to bury it in her soft chest for protection. He respected that and began to read one of his books again. Slowly falling asleep he probably looked silly with and open book on his lap but it's how he was found every morning.

(Sorry to hear, hope things take a turn for the better for you. *joins in group hug* heart ) The following morning:"That can't be comfortable..." Mizzen comments towering over the sleeping form that was Ratchet. Dressed in her typical pirate finery again, the flawless skin of her bare belly (and its new attachment) reflecting the early morning sunlight across his face, Mizzen jabbed Ratchet in the ribs with her big toe. "On your feet sleepyhead."The night had pasted without incident and as the graveyard shift drifted below decks to find their hammocks, the rest of the crew began to rise.

Ratchet sat up and stared at her round blue orb of a belly. It was the first thing in his way and in his sights. Looking up at her with sleepy eyes he frowned a little. " What?!" he grumbled a little. How Miz managed to fit her big belly up the latter still surprised him. They were the only ones up at the moment. " You want something Miz?" he asked slowly getting to his feet rubbing the sleep from his eyes. They rarely were alone, so part of him wondered why she bothered to wake him so early.
