Mot stared at the horrid sight of Hel attempting baking. He'd always assumed she could make anything with those hands. She cooked nice stews, she could use a loom... but this... What was that... Oh well. While Hel made her slop, Mot got to work at his first attempt at baking. With his gentle grace, nimble fingers and keen attention to detail, he made the perfect batch of dough. In Hel’s defense, baking was below her okay. It was a ghouly ghoul thing (no offense Xiu, she loved you okay) and Hel was not a ghouly ghoul. Like you, Mot
The reaper gave Mot’s perfect mixture a flat look. What a show off. “Not bad…” Hel replied, narrowing her eyes and raising a brow. She smoothed out her slop of a mixture and then grabbed a cookie cutter. She raised it...and then slammed it down on her mixture, like she was dealing a death blow on an enemy...which resulted in only half a cookie.
Hel had a feel she wasn't doing this right...but she wouldn't say that out loud, or ask for help.

Hel really wasn’t sure what she was doing, but imitation was the highest form of flattery. She approved, Mot. She approved. With some weird looking…shape cut out, it was time to put it into the oven! She picked up the tray and then threw it in there, briefly wondering why her mother or Freya never bothered to teach her how to bake…or if they even baked themselves…hmmm.
Seems timing was her only saving grace. Hel had been distracted by the shiny spurs on Mot's boots when she remembered about her creation and pulled it out of the oven. "Ah...!" She was almost hesitant to eve claim this as a good job, and once again, looked over at Mot.

He kept checking it, opening the oven multiple times to see if it was okay. After only five minutes had gone by, he took them out, thinking they might maybe be done possibly.
SUDDENLY GNOME NINJAS!!!!!
Sorry Hel, but it seemed Mot wasn't there to approve of your hot mess. He was busy FIGHTING OFF KILLER GNOMES.
Gnomes were punted, tossed, punched and defeated at the hands of Mot. The killer flash mob taken care of, Mot got back to his baking.

Hel stared down at her creation in the pan.
Jack…if she had any ounce of mercy in her body, she would eat the thing right now and put it out of its misery. But she didn’t, so she was going to decorate and wrap this sucker and then gift it to some poor sap by the name of Freya or Mac. She then looked up and over at Mot who was…
“AW! No fair!” She whined, stomping a foot. “I want to fight a flash mob of dancing gnomes too!” She huffed. “You get all the fun! Jack, whatever! Ugh. Are you ready to decorate these things now?”

For some reason, TK couldn’t mix the batter this time around. Actually, he was pretty sure it was because people kept pushing him around. It was just so amusing to poke fun at the new skeleton, apparently. He took a deep breath, but put down his bowl and cleaned up a bit before he went on to the next part. Maybe the next step would be better, but he couldn’t tell.

He stared at his work with a quirked eyebrow. Baking was a difficult, mysterious art.

On the bright side, one thing TK could do (at least when he wasn’t distracted by Makoto or anyone else) was make sure the cookies baked to the appropriate time. He waited patiently for the timer to ring and once it he did, he quickly took the cookies out of the oven. He frowned at the burnt edges, but he supposed it could’ve been worse.

It was a shame that he still failed to achieve a decent batch of batter. TK really had to wonder what was wrong with him today. Once he returned to his dorm he would have to mull over his dismal performance.

The boil had a feeling he never be able to learn how to properly cut out a cookie with these cookie cutters. TK wasn't too disappointed over this revelation considering he had never been a baking type. The cookie's appearance also wasn't much concern to him.

Apparently some student thought it amusing to poke his face. "Is that paint or what?" She asked with wonder.
