At his name, he looked over expecting someone annoying. But the words finally registered in his head, his full name. Only one boil did that. Sure enough, Yin was standing right there by him. A grin broke out on his face as he nodded at him. "Yin. I did not expect to see you here, honestly," he said, tilting his head. His fluffy ears flicked this way and that as he looked the other boil over. No worse for wear, it seemed. He was oblivious to anything that might have happened after the booths. He'd been spending his days in his dorm room lately. "You did not strike me as the type who would show up to a group gathering like this." He looked around the crowd as he felt.... something. What, he couldn't say, but something. Huh. He didn't remember the crowd being this big. Then again, he was one of the first here and it was the most celebrated holiday. He brushed it off.

Canon was beside herself over the compliment. Not only was Riley strong, but she showed an interest in her family's research! Once seized upon one of her favorite topics, the little Skark wasn't likely to let go. "My Uncle Rach Moninoff agrees with you! The family has to limit how many humans he gets to hold underwater, cause he always keeps them under too long on the first try! The rest of the family prefers to let them up after a bit, let them run away a little and regain their breath, then do the whole thing over again. And in the family isn't really hungry, they usually let them go after awhile. The humans that leave sometimes bring back other ones with guns! Oh, the battles the family would get into when that happened!" Clearly these were all very fond memories for Canon. Her eye had rolled up to the Halloween moon, and was staring at it dreamily. She seemed to shake herself from her reverie. With a happy jump, she reached out and took one of Riley's hands in her own. "You should come and give it a try sometime! I'm sure the family would love to have a guest over! And I could give you some antidote beforehand so the family doesn't melt your body on accident!" The sharp barb on the end of her tail nodded as if in agreement.

As a woman who dealt as parties - or she had when she was on the islands - it would have been in bad taste to just grace over a party like this. Thusly so, Hua Lifen was just enjoying the feeling of the air around her and the hum that was reverberating up through her shoes.
Walking through the crowds, a soft smirk showed up on her face as she caught sight of a certain stag, sidling up behind him and grabbing an ear lightly between teal nails.
"Fancy finding you here." She stated, as curt as ever with her words. It wasn't until she heard the other voice that she caught sight of the taller boil, mis-matched eyes peering up at him, giving him a serene smile in greeting.

Yin was mainly just glad to see the boil was safe. A first year, and just...well anyone he knew really. He rather liked people he knew being safe. "Um, I am not really sure what this is but I followed one of the Trick or Treaters?" The crowd really did make him feel slightly uncomfortable, but at least with so many pressed around he did not have to worry about him being singled out. The appearance of the woman, one of the horsewomen from the class he had taken, surprised him. Flushing he very carefully tried to focus not on her, or at least on her face, half tempted to see if she wanted to borrow his shirt. "G-Greetings," he somehow managed to say. Saint Sergio Hey there, Yin looks like Yin Nerpin Yin also smells and tastes like Yin

"Yes I am! I've only been enrolled for a few weeks, but everyone had been so welcoming," Victoria nodded, beaming when her dress was complimented, even giving a little twirl on the spot, "Thank you, Miss Estelle! It could not fit the other ghouls in the orphanage, so I got it!"
Seeing Billy eat, she decided to munch on something too; grabbing a fork off the table, she speared herself a mini sausage, and put it into her mouth, smiling at how delicious (and free) it was.
"Perhaps you would like to grab a plate for yourself, Billy?" She asked, looking at a stack of clean paper plates nearby, "It is free, after all!" She stressed on the word free, because she really liked that word.
Free.

He nodded a little as the boil spoke, unaware that his ear was about to be held prisoner until he actually felt the nails against his tender ear. He yanked it away with a turn of his head to narrow his eyes at the horsewoman. "I see you haven't changed the way you dress at all," he replied with a teasing tone. Honestly, he didn't mind it since he did believe her when she said she was more of a dancer than a lady of the night. It put him at ease, in a way. He didn't want to have to worry about someone stealing something from him. Ladies of the night did that, didn't they? They stole and lied and cheated to get what they wanted. Lifen was honest, if nothing else. "Yin, this is Lifen. Lifen, this is Yin. He's a friend of mine." He looked to the boil's face and noticed the flush. He wasn't going to tease the poor, skittish Yin about it, though. His reaction had been pretty similar, minus a few ill spoken words.

"I see you are still throwing words around so easily." She teased back, knowing he was the kind to talk before he thought when it came to statements, giving him a shrug with palms out lightly, showing his words did nothing to her. Lifen knew what she was, and that was that - she did not need a stag to tell her otherwise.
Looking up to the mantis boil again, she gave him a curt little bow, showing her respects to him - she was certain that she had seen him around once or twice, but never long enough to introduce herself. "I hope this colt is not bothering you." She started, smirking a little as mis-matched eyes flicked to Uller again, before standing up straight once more - which did little considering her short stature.
"Hua Lifen, a pleasure to meet you Yin - is that short for anything?" she queried, always interested in names of those she met. Especially when they sounded a lot like her name origins. Quote: Lifen is still a pony with nice assets.

Kettil watched Hel get involved even after he tried to get Freya to leave Shun alone as well and then she called Kettil the boil toy again and his expression didn't change much except his smile had a more of a an angry tinge to it.
He was no one's toy. Kettil just stared at Hel and shook his head refusing her bait after that, "Mmm, Freya already told me, Vúuru. If you wish to teach me other things, though I am willing to listen."
Maybe.
Hel might have a lot of 'trash' on her Sister but Kettil didn't seem to care one way or the other.

Billy was still munching, piece by piece, until he heard his name. Yes.. he'd totally spaced out on his familiar and Victoria talking. "Unh?" He was in the middle of a jellied floresce with googly eyes and it dangled unbecomingly from his lips. The boil's cheeks turned pinkish. "Ohum.. Yeah I guess. I'm not too hungry or anything.." He was very self conscious about seeming poor, stupid, a little country.. pretty much anything. Of course he was hungry, he was a growing boil, but it was easier to pretend to be nonchalant. Instead of a plate, he pulled a red bandanna from his back pocket, took a few spookies, and wrapped them up for later. That was it. Billy went back to picking. "OH you dear. An orphange? Don't you have parents? I guess you are one of those poor dearie ghosts with no memory or anything?" Estelle rambled, shuffling around Victoria on the ground. "Don't mind Billy. He's very shy around new people. We've got a HUUUUGE family at home." The spider rambled on while Billy looked sour at her talking about him. "His mother would just looove you. She loves ghouly ghouls."The boil in question finally stopped munching and crossed his arms. His nose wrinkled and he merely stared at the spider and back to Victoria. He seemed mildly annoyed. It was hard to tell if it was at the spider in general, or because she was rambling about him while he was standing right there. "See Billy it's nice here. People are nice." Estelle tugged her web leash with a leg to get his attention. "I never said they wernt." His accent was rural, not as fancy as the better educated. "Sorry bout her. She likes ta act like'm not here somtimes." Billy adjusted his hat again nervously. "I don't leave tha farm very offen."

Than very well remembered this place from last year, only it didn't look quite like last years. Last years had been muchmuchmuch scarier in the pup's memory. Taking a deeeeeeeeeep long breath in, and then exhaling with an even more dramatic motion, he curled his clawed digits 'round Aksaja's wrist, and also took the chimera's hand, seeking her long, delicate fingers with his own stubbier ones. He was more familiar with the two of them, having just met Yosuke today, but truth be told had he been gifted with another hand it would likely have grabbed the Ittan-momen as well.
"Than likes the cherrybright patterns." He murmured, good eye still affixed to the exotic boil. "Than most definitely-definitely wishes he was having some. But he does not think that he could stitchings on-like." It was rather disappointed, tail flickering to and fro behind him in a fascinated manner. The mutt rather thought that such an addition was a vast improvement upon such things as his own eyepatch, or the shining line of baubles that adorned his horns. Ah, but alas, a pup with an eye for fancies couldn't have everything.
Leaning over to nuzzle at Merry a bit, returning the affections that the ghoul had lavished upon him moments before, Than seemed satisfied that all of his friends were now friends, and the festivities could proceed. Tugging gently at the two Halloweeners in his grasp, he began to enter the lauded house of human horrors. Somewhere, he vaguely remembered that glitter tended to make him sneeze, but the notion was squashed 'neath sheer enthusiasm.
"Insiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!~" He sing-songed.
Welcome to darkness and glitter, and glam rock. Truly terrifying. Were those mirrors? Somewhere, Than remembered the mirrors. Quote: OOC: Than's a 5'3" Fae-hound with an eyepatch. Looks a likkle something like this. He is a GUEST student. His quest is here for the curious.

Mitsu had been slow to respond to the phone call she has received. The festival was the biggest of the year and was something she probably should attend. It was meant to be exciting and fun but it was hard to ignore the fact that there was going to be people there. Lots and lots of people and very likely a lot she didn't know. She was still very leery of strangers and was unsure if going would be the best idea. But... Shun was there. He promised to keep her safe. At least if anything there would be a lot of adults around for the party. Nothing would be able to happen. Right? Before she could talk herself out of it Mitsu found herself at town hall but she came to a stop at the first sign of people. It was like a wall, this area was really packed with activity. Even looking down she saw the ground was scattered with pumpkin seeds and she stooped down to pick up a couple. Maybe it would be best to contact Shun before she got any further. It was so crowded she would be unlikely to find him. Pulling out her new phone she pressed the speed dial number for her reaper, her eyes scoring the crowd trying to find him. OOC Notes:

Before things could get too heated, Hel had stepped in to try and get Freya to back down. Shun shot the younger Valkyrie a glance. "You don't need to call her off of me," he muttered under his breath. The use of boy toy in reference to Kettil did had him raise an eyebrow though. Shouldn't that be more of... Herryk's title? Though, he soon felt a buzz in his pocket. It was too noisy around for him to hear the ring tone, but that could have only been his phone. Scoffing, he dismissed his daggers and went on to answer. Ah! It was Mitsu. Inu-Mitsu "I'm at the outskirts of the center of the Town Hall. Freya and Hel are with me right now. Where are you?" The reaper began to look around for the lycan. While she was fairly distinctive, she wasn't the tallest one around, which may make it difficult to spot her.

Xiu nodded at Mayaa, a small, wry smile curling on her lips. "It's...a long story," She admitted quietly to the harpy, shaking her head, "A lot has happened to them. I'm just pleased to see that they're safe...if not confused." But it was probably best to let those two talk it out first.
Meanwhile, Hayate was grinning at Levi, his expression immediately becoming mischievous at the mention of Xiu's scareling years. "I'd be happy to share with you whatever you'd like to know, Levi. In fact, I have some of her scareling pictures with me right her--"
And suddenly, just as he began to reach into his hakama (which I just decided he was wearing now but I'm RPing with Neko), Xiu rushed forward and clung to his arm, her face red. "U-uncle Hayate, please," She squeaked, her tail swishing behind her as she shot a quick look at her friends, "That...that won't be necessary. I'm not sure it's in anyone's best interest to see my scareling photos."
The man sighed, but he was smiling as he obediently withdrew his hand without grabbing for his wallet. His gaze flickered down quickly to eye his watch, and then he looked back up at Levi. "Unfortunately, I have to go soon, but it really was wonderful to meet you, Levi. You should all ask Xiu to bring you home to visit sometime." His gaze moved towards the two boils then, and then Mayaa, indicating that he was extending the invitation to everyone. Quote: Xiu is a 5'2" baku demon and a third year student at Amityville.

" I'm...." Mitsu looked this way and what trying to determine her location. " I'm just outside the crowd." Because she really wasn't willing to move forward. Not without someone with her. It was hard to keep to the darker places since they were few and far between. With all the pumpkins sitting around lit up the entire area was bathed in a warm light. It made hiding difficult. "Oh, but... There's so much free food, Billy," Victoria replied, looking at the buffet; she had never seen so much food laid out on the same table before, not even when it's Halloween, and an abundance of food had been donated to the orphanage.
"Yes, Miss," She looked at the familiar, making sure to swallow the food that was in her mouth first, because it was good manners, "A reaper found me wandering about, and brought me to the orphanage... Matron is strict, but she is very kind to us. I like to think of her, and the ghouls I grew up with, as family. In fact, the ghouls and I refer to each other as sisters!" Perhaps that's why none of them ever felt sorry for themselves, being orphans.
"Is that so?" She beamed at the boil,"Before enrolling in school, I've never been past the small town where the orphanage was located... It's very exciting to be away from home! Wouldn't you agree, Billy?" The 'Sir' almost slipped out then, but she somehow managed to hold it back.
