 The earth would shift below him, creeping up his ankles. Kira shook her head, he couldn't do what he did and just leave. She felt sick. He couldn't burn her and destroy her violin. She felt angry. He could not scar her face and leave her. He could not say 'oh it will heal with time'. He was a bully. She'd had enough of bullies. His voice was poison and she knew a remedy. The earth would begin to harden, becoming solid restraints. Kira had been bullied enough today. He would be able to break them if he was strong enough. But if that was to be, then it would be. Kira was blind at his distance. But his tone. His tone made her anxiety melt and left only a harbored anger. And yet her face was hidden beneath long bangs, her lips showing no expression. She shook her head, her dove tone holding a small darkness, " Y-you c-c-an-not l-l-leav-ve. Y-you c-came f-for a f-figh-ght d-d-did y-you n-not? T-to sc-scout u-us or to sc-scar-re us?"

This demon apparently never took a physics course, or likely even went to school. Heat was nice and all. But cold does not exist. It is merely an absence of heat. He flicked his wrist over and over, re-condensing the water molecules into ice and sending them into the Fire Demon's person time and time again to try and lower his temperature while Kira worked her magic on keeping him confined. At the very least, Yosuke knew from his sparring rounds with Ryan that when a Demon or Elemental was distracted, they could not use other powers, so he didn't have to worry about a severe retaliation as long as he forced the Demon to keep up the heat. He was not worried by his opponents words. There was no way that son of a b***h was getting anywhere near Kira while he still lived. He really hoped Senel would get here soon, or maybe Kevin. Hell, Ryan or Sarah would probably be useful right now. He could act as a mighty sentinel, but he and possibly Kira as far he knew, were not suited for offensive fighting.
Yosuke reassured himself that he held the element upper-hand, and could douse anything the Demon threw at him. More clouds gathered in the sky. It was a slow process, but he might be able to hold out long enough. God damn he wished Senel were here with his windy powers. But..what was going on with Kira? She would be slightly scaring Yosuke if it weren't for her stuttering. Still though, he had never heard her speak in such a way, nor say anything to that caliber. Yet, he was still very relieved she wasn't too badly injured.

Continuing to keep his body heated, Ashnod extended the heat to more than just his body, making it nearly impossible for Yosuke to continue his icy assault, then extending it even further so that it encompased the two elementals, Ash shrugged. "You're irritating me boy, but do you know why I won't lose to a fool like you? For one, there's the fact that I'm not even trying to actually fight you and yet I'm capable of holding my own, for two there's the fact that I'm not under pressure to protect someone else. That distraction will cause your focus to break, and you both would be in trouble if I wanted to hurt you. Like right now... You won't be able to keep this up with the heat bearing down on you, either of you, but I can. The heat doesn't affect me as a Fire Demon, it's part of who I am. Finally there's this little fact that I don't have to move my body to control the heat, whereas you clearly have to do so." Ash said sticking his tongue out at the boy as the heat around the two Elementalsintensified to a nearly unbearable level for most people.
Eyeing the girl, he laughed a little. "No, I'm not here for a fight, but you're leaving me no choice, leave me be and I will meet my other half and be on my way. It really is that simple. though I really am sorry about your face." His words held a chime of sincerety to them, in truth he wasn't lying, he'd only intended to break the instrument, not hurt the girl, and he only wanted to meet the Fire Elemental, nothing more, but he wasn't leaving until he did. "I'm through playing games though, release me now or I'll get REALLY hot under the collar!" He snarled at the two, voice, face, and entire body eminateing malice as he glared at the pair. Yosuke reacted quickly. The fountain spewed forth mist which filled the area, he concentrated deeply and his conductor began to glow even brighter. Ashnod was wrong, as yosuke was no fool. He was the god damn magician! Every tiny iota of water cooled the area significantly, and began forcing the radius of heat into a much smaller area. "You're wrong." The water elemental spat as the area grew colder. "It is because I have someone worth protecting, that I have the strength to resist you." He pushed forth with his mind and strengthened his wall as much as possible. Nothing would hurt Kira or his friends. He would not allow it. He didn't care what this Demon's intentions were.

Ashnod grinned even wider as if that were even possible, now it was his trap that had worked. The Water Elemental was far too busy focusing on cooling the area that he couldn't stop the Demon from burning the earth which bound his legs until it was nothing but crispy ashes, freeing him with a single motion of his legs as the now frail, charred soil broke with ease. "AHAHAHAHA!!! Now you're in for it!" The demon cackled as he rushed Yosuke with amazing speed, the friction from his heated skin letting him move much faster. Without stopping for even a moment so as not to give the Nature Elemental time to bind him again, he thrust his fist at Yosuke's stomach, letting it cool so as not to severely wound or even kill the boy. ((There's a few, I think of Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple, but there's also Yu Yu Hakusho I believe, I think Trigun is also one, but the most likely one I'd have to say is Shaman King, which is what I'm going to go with.))

His voice. Kira wavered. The sudden change of heat and cool. She felt sick. Anxiety. Her whole body hurt. Angry. Weary from the attack earlier, broken from being burned. She shook with something like anger and something more like what came before passing out. But now he was sincere. And it broke her focus. But then that blur moved. The flowers lashed out- wrapping tendrils around Yosuke and lifting him away. Kira could not see very well- but she assumed the owner of the voice would be able to halt. If not- she would be struck, or be close enough to strike. If so- she would be able to see him. Her blue eyes deep pools of sorrow, she would know his face. " Y-you m-may b-be s-sor-ry b-but h-he w-won't see it th-that w-way. Y-you'll end up f-facing us a-all. Y-you sh-should t-try l-lat-ter. ," she suggested with a honey sweet tone of a dove's cry. ((OOC: ._. what the hell am I doing?

((Was gonna wait for Yosuke's post, but he's showing offline now...)) Ashnod
The very flowers and plants around them picking his target up and over his attack, Ashnod continued to rush about to punch, hearing Kira's words, he managed to stop his fist just barely centimeters away from the girls abdomen. Stopped cold, he instead flicked her lightly. "I'm only going to meet them, and I won't stop until I do. I hope you can see my face at this distance, if you can, remember it well, you will see it again, and next time I will be more ruthless than this time." He said to the girl, then he looked up at Yosuke, who was still suspended in midair. "You up there, good effort, if it lasted much longer we both would've been useless, but this girl doesn't look like she could have taken any more, she'd pass out, and you'd be distracted, and then you'd lose. So good try, but I'm calling this a victory, and leave for now. Do let me know when the Fire Elemental can come out to play, I still want to meet him." The demon walked to the garden's wall and jumped it again leaving just as easily as he'd come in. Making his way to a run-down building nearby where he could call himself safe, Ash decided to rest and recouperate. The fight took more out of him than he wanted to admit, holding back was always a pain in that way.

Yosuke was about to feint before he was taken by surprise and lifted out of harms way. He had no idea what was going on, but he knew he didn't like not being in between Kira and this psychopath. How in the world was she able to keep her soft voice and say it...relatively calmly for the way she spoke? "Please! Let me down! Don't let him get near you!" He cried out. Although, he didn't dare tear free from his new bindings lest it harm Kira. He couldn't even toss up another barrier at Ashnod since all his focus was upon keeping things cool. At the very least, he was in close enough proximity that the heat could not possibly reach past Ashnods skin.
But...the Fire Demon just turned and left, and acted differently? Were all demons this confusing? Well...at least he was gone for now. Kevin would need to hear about this. s**t...Ryan would be furious and out for vengeance soon enough. Hell, Yosuke would likely even join him this time. He looked back down to Kira. "Ah...could you please let me down?"

Sorry for my absence, been working long hours... ok, um, Astra, since your an Earth Ele, is it ok if Cyan meets you? She's the Nature Demon... But no worries, Cyan is not exactly like the others XD if not I'll re-edit this post!

Cyan felt it. The Earth beneath her feet was speaking. It was speaking in whispers to her. Azul, the hummingbird, flew beside her and chattered in her ear about the past recent events. "I can't fight, Azul, humans are needed in this world just as much as you, or I are." Cyan found herself defending the Human's and Elemental's to the bird, but what got her, was the fact that the earth kept speaking. But she wasn't fully listening until she felt the pull on her power and on nature's powers.
Another Elemental? Or could it be another Demon? Cyan thought as she followed the pulls direction. Little did she realize, she was walking straight towards Kira, Yosuke and the others.
Again the pull happened, only this time it was stronger. Cyan felt a small tingle in her fingers as the power wrapped around her like a blanket and squeezed gently. "Azul, someone's using the earth... but who could pull that kind of power out of me and it?!" Cyan couldn't put a finger on it but she had an idea.
Using the earth's pull on her powers to guide her, she came to a place that smelled of human's. But what made her pause was the smell of earth mixed in. Fresh flower scent floated in the breeze making Cyan smile, but only a little.
Rare was the elemental who could pull that scent and keep it, even rarer still was that elementals ability to call upon herself and nature so completely. Cyan was not only intrigued, but curious. She heard a youthful woman's voice speaking,
"Y-you m-may b-be s-sor-ry b-but h-he w-won't see it th-that w-way. Y-you'll end up f-facing us a-all. Y-you sh-should t-try l-lat-ter."
Cyan sniffed the air again, then crinkled her nose. She knew that scent, only a few hours before it had lingered at the school on the rooftop, the Crimson Fire Demon. Cyan was certain of it. Without a second thought she hid herself, hoping to keep out of the way, but not willing to forgo learning more of this new development.
Who is this earth elemental? Why did it drain me, I did not bond with the person!? -- But, why is he here? Is this Takaya's idea? Did he already send out an attack? Cyan's thoughts rumbled through her head as she thought of different things that could possibly have been going on before she had arrived here.
Hiding crouched in the shadows, her emerald eyes glowed an eerie green hue. Her ears tuned in to the earth around her, especially to the flowers that gave off the scent she had picked up.
As she listened, she waited. hoping to meet such an elemental.

She looked at his face. She'd seen it clearly and memorized it in that moment he dared lay hand on her. Kira's deep pools offered him nothing but the deep held sorrow, her voice gave him nothing but sugar. " If i-it is y-your w-will." It was the last thing she had said to him before he'd left. Well out of her line of vision. Kira stood perfectly still. Her body hurt, she had felt the burn he'd given the earth because of her trap. A few tears welled down her face, mixing with the near dry blood. It had all happened so quickly. At Yosuke's request, her hands moved- the plants lowering him gently and slowly to the ground. Her arms wrapped around herself, she bowed her head. She was shaking so hard she would have fallen apart, if not for being whole. She looked to Yosuke. Her face scarred, tear and blood stained, hair burned away and glasses broken and yet still she offered him nothing. Only large eyes filled with sorrow, her voice broke with a sob, " I..I'm s-sor-r-ry, Y-Yosuk-ke." ((OOC: I do not mind at all, Love. Just please bear with me I'm a mite bit slow

Yosuke got back onto his feet pensively and immediately embraced the girl. Every little marking on her face was completely his fault. He tried..he tried so hard and yet was still so useless. "No..I'm sorry..I'm so so sorry Kira...I didn't protect you..and you saved my life...and I didn't act in time and..and..." His voice meek and choked. Tears welled in the young man's eyes, and raced down his cheeks. He couldn't really hold it back anymore, he couldn't keep his calm composure, he just failed everyone all too much. "Please...please forgive me.."

Cyan watched Ashnod leave, in her mind's eye she thought he looked really miffed about something. Without really wanting to dwell on it, she tiptoed to the doorway, of course ever step she took, a flower bloomed in her wake. Her silver green hair shimmered in the light as she moved. She barely peeked around the door frame, when she saw Yosuke and Kira. That's the elemental? She looks ill, nay even sick... Cyan did not know where the sudden concern for the human girl had come from, but she didn't wait to find out, she remained silent, hoping to remain unnoticed for the time being.
"Reta Ni cha na oi. Healing earth, bring the woman health" Cyan whispered to the flowers on the ground. A small breeze picked up and the scent of flowers blew about, seemingly towards Kira. Cyan smiled kindly as she watched the petal dance of the flowers as they circled about the room, some landing on Kira's head. Those burns are pretty bad, did Ashnod do that to her? Cyan felt a sudden rage well up inside, but she tamed it quickly, not wishing to harm anyone nearby as a small tremor shook the earth under her feet.

Kira stood stone still at his embrace. She rarely... rarely brought herself to cling. This was different than in the library. This was something different. He would feel her tremor, shaking as if the earth was moving beneath her. She would not pull away, only stand there and tremble. She was so tired. She was so angry. She could not... she had to go home. She had to face him. " Y-you'v-ve d-d-d-d-don-ne n-n-noth-th-thing wr-wrong. F-f-fat-t-te d-d-dec-c-id-d-es th-things l-lik-ke th-this." Kira wrapped her long arms around him and hugged him. A rare gesture from her. She took a breath in and shushed him gently. And felt relief. As if all the pain was gone. No- the pain was gone. Kira was blind beyond arms length. Her grip increased on him before letting go, pulling away. There was something... a tingling sensation all the way up her spine. She walked only a few steps from the flowers, from him. Waving a hand, small blooms whipped up and twisted about- they would fall shy of where the source was. Kira waited silently. Blue eyes studying the blurry world.
