Oh, yeah. This booth. This booth had been alright to her earlier. Sherry could see no reason not to give it another try. She decided that this time she'd toss the rings first.
"I did better!" she exclaimed with glee. Two rings this time. Two! That was double the score of last time she'd tried.
<...So much better.> Armagnac was not nearly as impressed.

Feeling awesome, Sherry decided to stick her hand back into the waiting flytrap. This time, however, she was not so quick.
The thing clamped down on her wrist. For what seemed like forever, Sherry stood there and stared at the thing. What now? Was it going to eat her hand? Should she freak out? It was a game...surely she did not need to freak out...
She was leaning towards violence when the plant opened up, releasing her hand. Her pride slightly wounded, Sherry grabbed a consolation prize mushroom and scurried away.
The weapon never gave up.

"Here mom, I'll play this one." The zomboil said while trudging up to the mushroom toss booth yet again. His mom just smiled in response and offered him a nod, then stood patiently by, waiting for him to finish with the game. He paid his silver seeds and grabbed the hoops to get started.
Apparently he hadn't gotten any better at the game as time went on. He still only managed to get a ring over a single mushroom. With a shrug, he turned back to his mother. "Well....lets just find something else to do then."
The two of them wandered off, his mom giving him a gentle pat on the back.

Mayaa eyed the fly-trap and held onto one of the cupcakes in her other hand.
SHE WAS READY FOR THIS.
Before it clamped down on her hand, she took a cupcake and shoved it in its mouth.
"Take THAT you stupid chompy face!"
She proceeded to pick up a shroom and skip off.

What possessed Mort to stick his hand into the fly trap's mouth was anyone's guess. Maybe he figured he had had enough bad luck that it was going to reverse on itself and turn good.
