ok so missed the block bad, so does it hit Sun or me? posting this here so we have a public record of the test. Also if I had blocked it would it have been sent back at the person I said I sent it to with a successful AC roll? Does my Mean Swing come into play when trying to block sense I am trying to hit the bludger?

Does my Mean Swing come into play when trying to block sense I am trying to hit the bludger? Okay, here's how it works, when you block, you can state in your posts to block where you are redirecting it to, and if the block fails, it hits the intended target. Yes, your mean swing does come into play. Hope that helps!

yep, always good to check the things that may only come up now and then. You know it might be something to add a defensive skill a Beater can take to help with saving blocks. It would mean they pull another away from either adding to flying AC, dodging, or the extra life, but they would be more of a defender style beater.
Sorry about Sun, I did try to save him. xd

Someone else post here...I feel like I'm talking to myself lol.
And that is called bringing the thunder! Natural 20 roll plus bonus modifiers! and what is even better, the post matches the hit I love it when that happens.

Nanashi Kage Enjeru Ack, missed the start! Sorry, I wasn't online earlier, was cleaning. XP I'm just going to jump in, let me know if I've missed something! Right now it's just back and forth, trying to steal and score and all. o3o 1) Ari spotted snitch. 2) Red Team scored 24-17 rolls. 3) Sun knocked out due to two consecutive hits from Verily and Keith. 4) Verily missed and knocked herself out. And Chase's +7 turned him into a beast at stealing quaffle.

Okay, thanks for the update!
And...I'd like to suggest that if either team looses all of their players for a particular position during the test game, that they be allowed to have their eliminated players come back. Just for the test game, and perhaps with a 12 hour delay from the time they were KOed? Just so we don't end up running out of players!
Seekers have already been asked to not catch the snitch for a while, so this game will go on for at least a few days. With how fast we are shedding players, it might be a good idea to let them return, if we don't want to end up with everybody eliminated.

Okay, so what exactly is up with the snitch? Is it: A) after the game starts, fly around for three turns, then start rolling to spot the snitch, and you have five tries to catch it
or
B) Start rolling to spot the snitch right away, but once you spot it, you have to try to get close for three turns, then you have five turns to try to catch it?

Bringing the good old Quidditch OOC thread back up to the line up and ready for a new year of matches. I am your humble overseer for the games so please use this to cheer on your house OOC, really rub in that awesome beater hit or dodge, or just ask a question that your not sure about where it goes, so long as its along the lines of Quidditch that is.
