[CLOSED] [NPC Booth] Noland's Booth (Apples to Apples)

The word was hot. There were so many things that could be considered hot and she blankly stared at the cards until settling on one.

When angered, it could be more than hot, it could be boiling.

Iyari shrugged and was off in a flash to parts unknown.

Jason was doing everything he could to escape notice, because he really..didn't want to talk to anyone. No, no one, he didn't want a soul to know he was here. Which was why he was attracted to a ghostly white booth which had no one around it, save a basket of apples.

Strangely enough, he felt compelled to take one and bite into it. Even if he wasn't sure what would happen if a golden tried to eat something, he took the risk. What happened instead was the quiet whisper of voices in his head. He nearly jumped out of his skin. Was he infected with insanity? No..this felt different. And the voices soon went away, but not without leaving one word for him. 'hot'. He then was amazed to see a group of cards appear in front of him, all bearing similar meaning to the word he just heard. Curiously, Jason picked the card Boiling, and was then somewhere completely different.

Apples.

Thackery could feel himself getting more and more annoyed with the shiny fruits as he approached the booth, ears pinned to the sides of his head. Stupid apples. Worthless apples. Life-ruining, terrible apples. He picked one up and tossed it in the air, catching it with a hollow thok. He sure as Hades wasn't eating this thing.

Grumbling to himself about trickery and gorgons, he dug his nails into the skin of the fruit and clenched his hand into a fist, effectively smashing it all over himself. A bit of it did manage to stick to the corner of his lips, and the moment his tongue dipped out to lick it away, he heard a cacophony of sounds, punctuated by 'hot'. What? Were these TRICKERY APPLES too!?

He dropped the bits of apple and looked for something to wipe his hands on, tilting his head curiously at the sight of some cards in front of him. Those weren't there before...

One in particular stuck out to him. It probably meant the noun, but he couldn't resist: Ash. He giggled to himself, pleased with the connection he'd made. Who was the tricky one now apples?

(STEALING A CONSOLATION FROM HERE TOO)

Ariane could not eat the apples, but she returned to the booth to pick one up anyway. As expected, she heard a whispered word as cards appeared; with a grin, she readily selected one of them - butts. There really was no contest... Hot butts, aw yeah.

This was... er. Not really his idea of a great word. Being ice-affiliated and dead and all, it was probably one of the words pretty high up there that he did not enjoy. Hm. Well, there was a way to express his feelings...

NOPE

And then he made like his word and nope'd out of the booth.

Ingrid's first time in this booth. From afar, this booth seems like any other 'blank' booths... Except with apples on it. Yes, apples. Ingrid is not a huge fan of apples, or any other fruits. But she could have a try at the game.

" Pick a card, eh? ", she said. The word was pain. There's a lot that Ingrid could think about. Blood, punch, kick, hurt... Need i to go on? She stare deeply at the cards. Which one should she pick to get the prize? She took an apple from the booth, and stuff it into her pockets. Then she's back to think about the cards again. What word should she choose?

" Kick. ", Ingrid said. Finally, she settled down on a card.

Pain? That was an odd one...

Of course, Senga couldn't remember being here before, so the fact that it was odd to him baffled the young executioner. Frowning, he nibbled at the apple and sighed, shuffling through the cards with a sluggish, drowsy movement like he'd just woken up from a long sleep. "Hmm..."

Ah, what went with pain?

Senga blinked at one card in particular, and laughed at the irony of it, pushing it forward.

Revenge.

Danny wasn't smart, so she didn't really understand the game. Write down a word that somehow ... related to this word? What?

She frowned, looking at her little cards in her hand. None of them really worked- words like eye scream and pumpkins- how was that supposed to be painful? Whaaaaat?

Instead she pulled out a big black sharpie and crossed off the word "eye scream," instead choosing to implement her own word.
