Pickled plums! That was distinctly Japanese, but tasty nonetheless. Still eating the first one, Wilson reached for a second.

Jason was feeling immensely better after ating the riceball. Because human food was always awesome, especially when you're in a world with monster that liked to eat you.

Yes, these onigiri balls were his comfort here. He could sit here and cry all day while feeling better with food ...minus the crying part.

Senga was back to get revenge please Daeva-sama.
M-maybe today senpai would notice him. Results 6 - 10: You have just the right amount of leaves. Not too many, not too few. (+3 points) 1 - 5: Too cold, you hardly draw out any flavor from this particular type of tea. (+1 point) 16 - 20: Way to long. Now it tastes like hot leaf juice! (+0 points) ... Or not.
Senga dodged to the side as Daeva-sama spit it out.
"Damn it."

Jason wasn't so much as watching onigiri-sama as he was devouring his rice ball and glancing around at everything as if it would attack him.

More onigiri. Senga bit down on one and fluffed his wings, watching Onigiri-Daeva out of the corner of his eye. Hopefully none of the onigiri had been licked this time.

Senga also decided to try the teacup making boy's game.
The horseman was vaguely familiar, though from where Senga couldn't rightly say. Instead, he simply bowed his head in a gentle manner; a way of hello without words. He was rather tired after all, and his throat felt hoarse from the amount of talking he'd done all in one night. Usually, Senga merely spoke when spoken to, or when he had something to say. Tonight, it was as though the filters between his brain and his mind had simply unhinged.
Allowing himself to be led along, Senga hesitantly began to work at his own teacup, watching as the clay warped and folded beneath his fingers. It was an odd feeling, but at the same time reminiscent of activities he'd once participated in back in the War Isle. This was an art. So was making weapons. He spent awhile in silent concentration, adding minute details when he felt he could, and attempting his best at what might have once been considered to him a mundane sport.
When he finished and presented it to Kiwi, he had no qualms with the result, and waited placidly on judgement from the Famine boy, his mind carried away by nostalgia, something that made him ache down to his core.
Results 81 - 100: Have you done this before?? Kiwi wonders upon inspection of the teacup. It is accurately crafted, with a nice amount of detail too. +1 Token and complimentary Tea package.

He nodded to Senga in turn, and dropped a token into the War clansman's palm.Kupuritama Confirming your token win! Nahm wasn't exactly a tea master, but when one was part of a large family and expected to help with meal preparation of all sorts on a regular basis - well, he figured he could manage a reasonable cup of tea. He measured leaves into the tea infuser - a little more, a little more ... was that too much? Couldn't tell. Better too much than too little, he figured. Boiling water was easier. A well-honed sense of smell and an ear for the pitch of bubbles in the water made it easier. Was using thermal-spectrum vision cheating? Probably, but nobody had to know, right? He dipped the infuser in and waited, watching with interest as the metal warmed from room temperature to water temperature. The changing colors distracted him, though, and he left the infuser in slightly too long; he grumbled a curse when he realized. The tea would probably be palatable, though. He offered the cup to the minipet judging the tea. Points: 7 sn: prolixity

Did anything go better with tea than rice balls? There might be a few things, depending on the type of tea, but these rice balls were free, and that gave them a certain cachet. The first one he picked up was salty, savory, and toothsome, and Nahm hummed happily as he devoured it. Quote: 7- Ikura (salmon caviar marinated in soy sauce)
